Very nice staff! Beautiful inflatable castle. Toboggan run. Great thing!
Very nice staff! Beautiful inflatable castle. Toboggan run. Great thing!
Nice playground for the smaller ones, toboggan run for the larger ones and the suspension bridge is fun
Small but nice, a lot going on during the holidays, otherwise pure relaxation :-)
The ice cream is so delicious, different flavor but i like the pistachios.
Good place to be for spending quality family time, skiing or just casual sightseeing to Alps. Don't forget to walk on bridge when you are here, it's fun for all age groups.
Nice place for kids and kids games for 111 family francs
Were there with 2 children 4 and 1 1/2 and enjoyed it very much. The lady at the ticket office was very friendly. It's not cheap but definitely worth it.
Great family mountain resort. Small and cozy, staff is very friendly and there are some great restaurants (Herrenboden is our favourite)
Great for summer and winter activities
Great area for families and hikers.
- Toboggan run
- Suspension bridge
- Hike
- Hopping paradise
- Fireplaces
- Restaurants
Family-friendly excursion area. It is a pity that there is no official, freely accessible playground. The bouncy castle park is great, but costs extra.
Always a good choice, summer and winter. However, very well attended.
Very nice place with a quiet environment. Perfect scenery to switch off
Wonderful it has from the bouncy castle to the toboggan run it really has almost everything am very satisfied
Good ambience in the old town of Olten good service etc.
Nice view, kids part, suspended bridge and more. We really enjoyed the short stay, unfortunately we were to late to try the toboggan as it closes at five, but also had to catch the gondola down the hill.
Still, it was a good trip and we will go again.
Very nice viewpoint, ideal for hiking, totally crowded.
Ms. Furrer confidently fulfilled our request and to our complete satisfaction. Thank you very much and we look forward to your visit.
Nice ski area and hiking area, easy to reach from ZH and LU
Pure nature for young and old. The huge suspension bridge is great to walk over, but only for those with a head for heights. The floor of the bridge is a grating. Then you will find great hiking trails.
For children from 0 to 12 there is the bouncy castle park with almost 10 bouncy castles and many trampolines. The toboggan run and the tubing slope provide a thrill for older children.
Suggestion for improvement: More seating in the inflatable park.
We like to go there again with our children.
Is worth a trip, for young and old. Versatile offers
Great for families with children .... nothing for me
Nice excursion mountain with different game options and restaurants ...
It's a Saturday afternoon in February, the sky is blue and the sun is warm. We decide to go sledging, but only have half a day, so we pick Sattel-Hochstuckli which is only 30 minutes away from our home in Adliswil (next to Zurich). The parking is pretty full when we arrive and still, we get up quick (I'm surprised how reasonable the one-way tickets are). The two restaurants are pretty full and so are the slopes, but the atmosphere is relaxed. We sledge down, take the lift back up, then go for a nice walk, have a drink (sadly the restaurant closed the kitchen at 16:30 - a bit too early on a nice day like this) and sledge down another time. My wife wants us to come back so my daughter can learn to ski here. She wants to learn here as well. We will be back.
We wanted to visit an event in the saddle high stucco: unfortunately it did not have enough parking lots and no traffic service: This created a complete traffic chaos: The whole center was blocked: There was no before and no back. We were in traffic for about half an hour before we could go home. In our experience, parking and transport services are better organized at each village chilbi. There was not even an answer to our complaint. In the future we will visit better organized mountain areas.
Super excursion destination recommended for families. Price cheap for offer.
Raiffeisenbank Skywalk - the suspension bridge as a highlight. For children the summer toboggan run and the bouncy castle and various hiking possibilities.
Family place courage bouncy castle, toboggan run and short track with ring. Not very high. Suspension bridge shaky. Not for people with vertigo.
great ski resort also for kids. reachable very quickly from Zurich.
Today I hiked from Sattel to Mostelberg in beautiful weather and then on to Mostelegg. It is simply a very beautiful area and the ascent is sometimes quite steep but easy to do with a bit of fitness. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and the food is good. It was a nice day and I can recommend taking a hike here or crossing the Skywalk suspension bridge.
A great place to visit with good accessibility by car. Camping Kronenmatt (including Blickkasten) is nearby for all those of us who would like to enjoy this great nature and surroundings more extensively.
Very nice gondola lift going from Sattel to Mostelberg. Very friendly staff; we were late on our way back but they let us take one of the last gondolas down the mountain despite it being after their closing time.
Great what has become of the once small saddle. I know this village very well since 1975, I went there every year with my parents. I will also spend my holiday there this year. I am curious to see what has changed hike in and hike over the suspension bridge, hopefully in nice weather.
Good slopes, nice staff, good food. Busy place in the season. Good for skiing with kids.
No words, just joy! This is what you have after visiting the Sattel-Hochstuckli!
Was here in summer. The summer toboggan is fun. Hiking roads have great views. There are several almost flat sections.
The small revolving gondolas are great for COVID time. You don t have to be in gondola with strangers.
There is a hike around the Engelstock.
You can do that in summer and winter.
And the restaurant Herrenboden is super fine to eat
Float in a beautiful area with the rotary gondolas.
Great place to go skiing with small kids. The kids area is well equipped with three beginner lift for the absolute beginners and different requirement to motivate them. Next by is a lift which is just a little steaper that they can do the next step. The pists are mainly blue and red. So it's enjoyable if you are more a beginner skier than an expert. We had a lot of fun with the family.
Great family skiing place. Although not a lot of ski piste kilometers, I think this ski resort is great for a short outing for skiing. Specially if you live in Zurich. The drive from Zurich takes about 40 minutes. If it's not crowded you can be on the top of the slope in an hour from home. Also, we got to see an air balloon festival which was magical.
Great destination for the whole family with Europe's longest suspension bridge, Roddelbahn, Tubingbahn and Hupfburgen. Nice to hike and grill.
Very well maintained facility. Lots of fun and action for kids. Good restaurants. Special offers in summer and winter.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Large parking lot at the valley station and bus stop.
Beautiful & varied ski area, also suitable for families and beginners.
Kinderland (practice area) with different possibilities, but very flat.
Skiing & sledging-anything possible, sporting goods rental at the valley station.
Had a lot of fun and will be back.
Really fun summer mountain destination for kids. Take the gondola up to a kids' paradise including a large collection of bouncy castles, bungee trampolines, summer toboggan run, tubing, hanging bridge, trotti bikes, etc. There are several restaurants at the top.
Good place for families and for practising. Although there was almost rush, maybe too much people.. and only two restaurants and you should make a reservation. Some cafeteria would be great.
Had a wonderful sledge evening. Sledges can be rented for 10.- Fri. Family ticket for two adults and two children for 66.- Fr. Schlittelbahn could have been prepared a bit better. A ride on the sledge takes about 15 minutes.
Super hiking area. Almost no snow right now. Large parking lot at the bottom of the train. The very many visitors are well distributed. Unfortunately not much space on the sun terraces of the restaurants.
Were there in May. There are no hiking trails anymore, much tarred footpaths which I personally find a shame. And the mountain station is a huge tourist attraction. A shame for the beautiful landscape. The suspension bridge is very cool. Price for the parking space is ok. But I think the price for the gondola is too expensive.
Very nice destination, the ride with the revolving gondola is comfortable, the staff of the gondola is absolutely friendly. There are various hiking trails, easy ones for people who just want to take a walk, or those who then go uphill, small paths through the forest, but you are almost alone there and have some peace and quiet (see below why halfway ). The suspension bridge is also an experience for people who have never been on such a bridge. High, sometimes wobbly and rocking, but still absolutely safe and a great experience. From some places on the mountain you have a great view. The reason why I deduct a star: I am aware that such a place must have family-friendly and child-friendly offers - because that brings a lot of visitors and money. But the bouncy castle is almost too much of a good thing. You can hear the children's screams from miles to almost the top of the mountain, who wants to hike in peace, and certainly some of the animal world in the area certainly doesn't enjoy it. This is of course also due to the parents who abuse the whole thing as a day care center, suckle a coffee for 4 hours in the restaurant and the children are allowed to run around unsupervised and scream as they want. It's just the present time, just look at yourself and behave recklessly and selfishly. (By the way, I am very tolerant, it takes a lot before I write something like this.) So, to put it briefly again: Great excursion destination, if you don't like the noise of children, you shouldn't just go to the restaurant at the mountain station, but to another one in the Hiking nearby. I can't rate the restaurants in the area, I buy a drink at the kiosk and walk around for 2-3 hours and leave again.
Summer 2013. The fun is not cheap, but for families with children up to 14 years a great destination for a day trip.
The toboggan run is a bit short, but at least you do not have to lug the sledges.
The multitude of bouncy castles makes every child's heart beat faster. Big criticism: The trampolines clearly lack a supervisor. The will then probably set after the first accidents also.
The staff was friendly and attentive, both inside and out (restaurant).
Anyone who wants can make the descent with the Trottinet. But costs 18 francs extra per person (duration: about 80 minutes).
Incidentally, in bad weather, the journey is not worthwhile. :-) The facilities are then closed.
This is an amazing place with loads of activities and superb views. I had a wonderful time with my family and enjoyed thoroughly. We met a person playing a musical instrument called 'peukhli' when we were just roaming around. He played a tune specially for us and made the day!!
Small but child oriented ski area close to Zurich. Good practice for t bars!
Only slopes for relatively new skiiers (not likely to challenge advanced skiiers). It was my first time skiing there and the training slope was so busy with toddlers that I couldn't learn there so had to learn on a normal slope (not fun). Also the majority of the staff didn't speak much/any English (I know that's rich coming from someone that only speaks English) and a 1.5L bottle of water cost 10 Francs!
Was still a good day and a very pretty area, but could have been better.
In winter, great for learning how to ski especially for children. In summer the tobbogan, tubing and the bouncy castle area are again a sure winner for kids.
Beautiful when there is snow, stunning in the summer sunshine, even in the rain it has its charms, all the team friendly...
Made a trip
The suspension bridge, toboggan run and also the children's playground are very nice. I will be with my 2 grandchildren next year
Spend 1 day up there, Mostelberg Sattel
