Santa Fe Station Review

Actually I went there to go see a movie. As far as The Station Casinos go Red Rock has always been my favorite but I was very impressed. However since I live out here now, I figured it was time to try something new. Being a local I know there is a standard that Station Casinos hold themselves to, so l was looking forward to going to the one I hadn't yet been to. It was a Monday night actually veterans day observed. So I was thinking it was going to be quite crowded. But it was actually kind of nice going somewhere that wasn't packed full of people and smoke.We were running late so we went straight to the theater. Walking through it it did remind me of bit of the Red Rock by certain aspects of the layout & being on the smaller side which I love. Parking structure was well lit up and the elevators where clean and big, also well lit.the way the signage was posted throughout the casino the theater was extremely easy to find.Then the best part.... Well, aside from the movie. You can choose your seat before you go in the theater. This is what my friend was in on a little secret I didn't know. Recliners I'm talking kick your feet up lay back relax, recliners. Also in a beautiful clean theater. We Saw Bohemian Rhapsody (if you're not a fan of Queen you would actually still enjoy it. Great music great writing wonderful acting.) Back to the Santa Fe, actually got to enjoy the hotel a little bit more than I thought. Since I recently moved I had to renew my address for my boarding pass which is a card you use there when you play the machines and then you get credits and get coupons for like free buffets and other good stuff. Like I said Station Casinos, the staff was just as I expected, courteous and professional and even funny Then it was always tradition*(my Dad & I) after a movie find a bonus poker machine & play 1$ if one of us won our dollar back then we go to the coffee shop and have coffee and cake or pie. Stations have really great machines .I notice Santa Fe has a nice selection of all games. It's very casual vibe and lay out of the casino is very nice it actually looks a lot bigger on the inside and there was a lot of places we had to choose from because of course I want my dollar back so walking around we saw this huge glass case of every dessert you can imagine carrot cake ,Boston cream pie, cookies and other assorted goodies.please forgive me the name of the place escapes me I think it was Grand Cafe, something to that effect but you can't miss it and I wouldn't if I were you definitely stop in. You would think so we were eating in a 4-star restaurant the way we were treated we had such a sweet waitress. I realized I hadn't had dinner yet neither had my friend and the movie was quite long about 2 and 1/2 hours,so that we vowed to have one of each of the goodies in the case we figured dinner first was a good idea. The selection in the menu was huge.I ordered a cup of soup and a sandwich since we were primarily there for dessert. It was like the kind of sandwich your grandma would make you (if she had 5 lb of roast beef) It was wonderful but had 2 get doggie bag. Prices were great.And we were so stuffed we ended up splitting a piece of the carrot cake so we have to go back. Yeah! The waitress also recommended the steakhouse there she said it was really nice for a fornal. dinner. So I put it on my wishlist. Also the coffee is wonderful. Now I have another place to tell people to stay if they come visit me. So that's it in a nutshell folks. I definitely recommend that you check out the Santa Fe. I'm really looking forward to going back myself. So if you're looking for a place to go see a movie or have dinner I just want to try your luck at the machines or even just dessert and coffee guarantee find something enjoyable there & have a great btime too!

Pleasant atmosphere, spacious rooms a variety of games plenty of parking and gift shops and restaurants.

We had a good time today at Santa Fe Ststion and Casino the food was good.

Older hotel, didn't like the beds, bathroom small. Hotel required masks and temperature. Older interior needs upgrade. Elevators rickety. Reservations were a real pain.

Love the Santa Fe but the restaurants are mediocre at best.
Update... Letitias is one of my favorite restaurants glad she moved into Santa fe. Read the menu and try all of the sauces and the various preparations. Be adventurous you won't be sorry!

Attended a conference here, great meeting rooms and handicap accessible.

Okay casino, a little too much smoking for us, Starbucks was very convenient

Room was very spacious and the oyster bar I went to three times it was so good!

Cons: Older room, stains on the wall, either smoke or the smell if smoke everywhere. Tiny outdated bathroom. Pros: friendly staff, a lot to do, price, free WiFi.

Went to Capriotti's for lunch and a movie after. People were great, prices were reasonable for a casino. There were some particularly smoky areas without walking through a crowd of smokers which makes me assume filtration isn't the best in those areas. Overall a good experience.

The bed was so old
The matress was uneven
I needed yo shorter my stay
They need to look at that so wrong and sad.

I frequent here. The food is a hit or miss, depending on where you get it. I've had more good experiences then bad. The workers are always pleasant and help you out. The slots are a hit or miss, like everywhere. Bathrooms have always been clean. Make sure you make reservations to bowl, if you want to go bowling. Haven't been to the theater yet.
Not a huge fan of the parking. If you're parking in the North garage, make sure you're in the right lane and watching for people darting across the drive, outside of the crosswalk. As well as people not stopping or taking turns to get on the ramp to the North garage.

Family stayed great quiet dark rooms. Very clean & comfortable.

Lots of machines ! I walked away with a few hundred dollars. Not a bad day in Vegas!

Nice Casino club inside on Fridays 5 dollar Friday's at the Chrome

Went to the sports book and then hung out at the bar for the free drinks. Cool atmosphere. The staff took good care of us at the bar.

Remodeled rooms are good. Clean, clean, clean. Great bartenders, & other service people!

Felt like I was at the airport going through security. Weird. Went to The Charcoal Room restaurant. It was good. Service was pretty good food was okay. Unfortunately I had a bit of a dirty table cloth and my steak was a bit over cooked. They did try to fix it but wanted to eat with everyone. Sides were good. Desserts good!

We went to the Oyster Bar, had incredible cuisine, tried both of their clam chowders, they were most delectable..food is served in huge portions, could easily be shared between two. The server was great! She was fun, informative and made the decisions and the meal most enjoyable! We will go again!

I went to a party at the night club there and I had fun but I couldn't stay long because they didn't have any bottled water.

I go to the Santa Fe to see movies at the Cinemark theater there. The movie houses have reserved recliners. On Tuesdays the tickets are $5.50 during the day and on Wednesday, the tickets are $4.00 for seniors with their player's card. Those are the best days to go to the movies.

Waitresses come around pretty regularly to check to see if you need a drink. Food is great. It's close to my house. And they cash my checks.

The staff could be more friendly, building a little run down, good price on rooms, rooms are clean.

Gaming was great, rooms are average. Facility offers several things to do and many places to eat. I will return.

Rooms r mostly clean, this past stay there was a LOT of hair on shower wall! Had to call twice to get it removed. Overall other than that it was fine

They need better costomer service at bingo. No respect to the line. It was going to be first time.

Gambled awhile ! Got double cheeseburgers to go & fries from coffee shop! It was delicious! Yummy! Late night specials also!Had a little luck gambling! Coffee Shop has excellent food! Double Cheeseburgers & fries!!! Yummy for my Tummy!!!!

Plenty of food choices - fast food and sit-down. Gambling variety options are many. Just wish they didn't allow dogs in the casino and food court area. Very unsanitary and smelly. I have a dog but would not drag him through a casino.

I love the buffet here. It's tasty, inexpensive, and delicious.

Went there for a movie on Valentine's day. The vendors we're very friendly and helpful when I messed up, which was a couple time that day

This is a great location for families. From an arcade to movie theater, with a bowling alley and child abandonment zone (kids quest), there is a ton options for people looking for more than just the standard slots. The buffet is good for the price, and there is a food court with a number of different fast food eateries outside of the standard fair.

Check-in was fast and easy. Loved how we could check in early. I also liked the security at the elevators to get to our rooms. You need to use a room key in order to get to the elevators to get to your room. Nice!

The only con I can think of is that the hotel is far away from the places we wanted to get to. Other then that, the venentain is the best hotel I've stayed at on the strip thus far. I love the architecture and the lay out of the hotel. Great restaurants and beautiful shops along the canal.

You guys have got to do something about the wifi connection at the Santa Fe. It's never works continually. I am at the sports book from 8-5 Monday-Friday and I use (need) wifi to search for Information on the games and it only connects for 3-5 minutes at a time every hour and 10 minutes. It's been doing this for a few months. It is vital for those of us who support this division of The Stations.... Thank you

We stopped in the cafe for breakfast. We were seated and waited at least 5 minutes before the manager came by to ask if we were being helped (it wasn't busy). The waitress had been setting the table adjacent to us and pretty much ignored us. Once she saw the manager talking to us she stopped by and in a fairly loud condescing tone told her to go away. In her loud irritating voice she asked what we wanted. Almost like she was putting on a show for the other patrons. After taking our orders, she said did we have our club card (?). No, we were just passing through. Again, loudly with a self satisfied smirk, she said we couldn't order from that menu. We decided to just get up and leave while she just made a shooing motion with the menus. I'm not sure who was benefiting from her performance but the other diners were indifferent to it. We didn't see the manager on the way out or we would have said something. So...don't know about the quality of the food but will never stop there again. We did notice very few people around the casino. Employees outnumbered them 2 to 1. This was around 10am but if you have been to any casino in Vegas they are still usually pretty busy at that time. Not sure if that's a sign of anything. Nice looking place though.

Santa Fe is hands down my favorite casoino in Las Vegas to go to. I have been coming here for over 10 years and I love everything about this casino.

Unless you have to stay here, I wouldn't recommend it. Cab from airport 76.00 with tip. Cab to strip 50.00.Smokey and boring. Nothing close by worth seeing. 45min bus ride to Downtown Vegas. No shuttle service. Nice rooms. Boring and expensive bars. Restaurants are nothing to write home about. No shopping or decent restaurants outside of the place. Pool and gym small.

Great casino! Very nice and clean. They do take your temperature before going into the casino. I grew up going to this place and still love it today!

Santa Fe Station has a great Bingo hall.
All safe and clean, and social distancing, and a friendly staff.

We are at Latecias and they were not practicing social distancing. People were being seated next to each other and no effort was being made to distance patrons.

I really likes there service because they greet you with a smile plus the new seats in the theater are amazing.

Had a great time at this casino and Hotel. Beds were comfortable clean sheets beautiful rooms. Plenty of things to do for family and friends.

Went for an Anniversary dinner with my Wife and Son, service was good. Had a nice evening at this casino.

Fabulous Easter buffet today! I'm so happy we went today as a family. Tons of selections of holiday food. My children were very Happy.

Hotel was ok (although they didn't tell us until after we checked in that the water would be cut off for a couple hours during the night, and the hours for the buffet are listed wrong online). All of that not a huge deal until 2am when the fire alarm jolts us out of bed at 2am! We are almost out the door when it quits. Might as well use the bathroom while my nerves settle. No water!! Then the security guard is in the hall yelling into his radio because a someone has locked herself out of her room. My husband calls in the am to see if they'll comp us a breakfast for the trouble. Nope!

Only come here to go bowling, but it's a great place to bowl. Not too packed, which I love. Never a wait.

I was there visiting from New York on a conference. I had a security guard by the name of Trey. Come up to me while I was sitting 20 feet away from everybody else eating. Told me I had to pull my mask up while chewing. He then said I threw food on the floor which I accidentally dropped, had to get the supervisor in the floor manager involved on this one. Trey told me I had to go to my room. I am a grown man, I am not going to be grounded by somebody 10 years my younger. Trade security guard at the Santa Fe Station ruined my entire experience by him being very combative. He had the audacity to call over seven other security guards to try to force me to my room. I tell you this Santa Fe Station and everybody that reads this everybody in my conference all 15,000 people will never stay at a Station Casino ever I made it a rule in our company

Santa Fe is a decent spot. Plentiful parking, nice array of restaurants within, located right next to the 95 for convenience, good movie theater, and decent atmosphere. Not the most extravagant but its clean and bright.

This was my first time staying here. It was clean. The staff were friendly. In light of COVID-19 they had appropriate measures in place which made me feel a lot more comfortable staying their with my family. I will stay again.

They have everything, including movie theaters. The buffet is excellent.

The hotel was great the only downside was it smelled like cigarettes but if you go up some floors the smell isn't as bad

I'm rating the Grand Cafe. The manager was very nice and helpful. The server atrocious. She was rude and our food came to the table cold. When my daughter bought her behavior to her attention, she dumped the dishes she was retrieving , left and never came back. We will not be dinning there again.

Checked in to room 550 and no A/C. Called for maintenance and it didn't get and cooler. Transferred to room 448 and it was a lot cooler. No coffee maker in room!!! Not a good morning.
