Santa Fe Station Review

The room is what you would expect from an inexpensive hotel, the only real "negative" I can say about the room is that the bathroom is really small. I really enjoyed the casino portion, the movie theater is cheap with awesome recliners and the concessions are inexpensive. The buffet provided a wide variety of food (prime rib and shrimp fri-sat 4pm-9pm), one of the least expensive buffets I've had in Vegas. Definitely recommend to my friends!!!

Santa Fe is my local go to place being a mile from home but lately the service, across the board,has really been transparent. Not a good thing . I dont want to hear employee complaints. I dont want to drop hundreds of dollars on slots before and in between getting cocktail service. I dont want to report a problem with my favorite machine week after week before its fixed. It all shows me its only the $$$ the company cares about.Santa Fe you are forgetting, that $$$ is mine and your not going to get if you continue to treat me like im not part of your bottom line equation. Time for you to go back to school. My $$$ + your hospitality = your $$$ (A+) not My $$$ + 0 = your $$$ (F-) I know you can do better.

Ate at Grand Cafe, originally intending to eat at the buffet but we arrived too late. The food was nothing special but was decent. We had several loud and rambunctious kids with us so we were sat in a section on our own but I think our kids were so loud we still managed to upset some other customers. Not much you can do. Our server was very understanding and accommodating of our needs, he gets 5 stars.

Always drive here for the movies. Best prices and seating. Have to buy tickets well in advance if you expect to reserve seats for a movie on Tuesday.

Great location with it being close to the freeway. The room was clean. Simple rooms, nothing great. No fridge or microwave. No charging ports. Bathroom extremely small. We would stay there again.

I liked the ease of parking and the buffet, but the place was too smoky to want to stay very long.

Good food, good service! What more can you ask for? The one other thing you can ask for; is how is the pricing? Very reasonable, that is very good.

I was apparently placed in a non-smoking room that REEKED of smoke. When I called guest services to ask about another room, OF COURSE I wasn't given that option, but the woman did say she would send someone up to spray my room. 7 hours later, I'm still waiting, and it's as if someone is standing in my room with 5 cigarettes lit up. I will NEVER return here, praise the Lord.

I cash my paychecks here and the cashiers are always so nice.

Very organized staff was very courteous and polite conditions of bowling alley was kept clean especially the restrooms.

I lost my money plus not good to me first time ever there and not happy

I went to this casino in the early morning of may 23rd. The casino itself is beautiful and clean, however the AA bartender that took our order was rude to me but not the lady I was with at the time. Towards me he had a rude demeanor and was not conversational with ME at all. More so the lady I was with. She even brought it to my attention. Shortly after, we left and doubt I'll ever rerurn.

I worked over night AND in customer service my whole life, I know what it's like regardless.

For the record, I still left a tip.

I expected more with it being a locals casino.

MY IDENTITY WAS STOLEN!!!!! DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD OR, YOUR ATM... THERE ARE THIEVES IN THE CASINO.... SECURITY DOES A FANTASTIC JOB.....

Meeting rooms are nice enough. They have kept the place up over the years. Not as nice as newer local casinos though.

The room was so small and the bathroom was even worse. It was so bad that we left even though they insisted on charging me for 2 nights stay.

Hotel seemed nice. Went for a comedy show which was great and had good service

Love the theater and bowling alley. They are both so clean and fun!

Far far away from everyone and everything. very lovely place. Definatly a gets way from the strip. They have many things available for you to do. We come here when we dont want to be in a crowded place.

I had a real great time in the Chrome nightclub, good music, wonderful vibe.

Like the buffet and the slots. Lots of room and they keep the slots up to date.

There are many station branded casinos here in Las Vegas. Santa Fe is by far one of the nicest. The only other that is "better" would be Red Rock in summerlin. The hotel at Santa Fe is fairly new. The casino is gigantic loaded with all the new games and of course all the classics. Its also one of the only station casinos that has live poker tables. Its my personal favorite due to proximity. Im sure if i lived in Summerlin my fav would differ. So yea this the place to go if u dont want to be on the strip but still want the strips sex appeal

My family and i often go to their buffet and its one of my favorite. They have a special salad bar, a person who cooks pasta for you, an ice cream stand, meat person, and barbecue stand where they make your food the way you like. The pasta person makes whatever type you like and you can tell him what you would like and what kind of sauce. The barbecue person makes your burgers the way tou like. The meat dude cuts you fresh slices of meat. The ice cream lady scoops your ice cream. They have a large variety of ice creams to choose from. Overall it is a great buffet with cool add perks!

It's ok. We went here on a whim. We are full time RVers and enjoy a hotel stay from time to time. So we pulled in with no reservations. My husband went in to reserve a room and came back disappointed because he was qouted $102 per night...it was a Thursday night,not very busy. Google maps had the rooms at $32 per night. I went on Priceline and got it for $52. Oh be aware they do hold $140 for incidentals...and charge $22 fee I think it's a resort fee. But with the hotel being older I don't think they should charge it. You do get a buy one get one bowling pass and free Starbucks coffee...well,I guess it's not free because of the $22...lol anyways...I wish we didn't have to pay it. Lol
Check in was nice...I passed through a temp check. Went to the desk and was told I had to wait 15min for Priceline to send my info. No problem. At check in I advised we were in a RV and directed to the front open parking lot. Well in the morning taped to our window was a parking violation. Stated we would be towed in 72 hours. So I didn't complain since we were leaving. But if you're parked there in your RV be careful because you may get towed after 72 hours.
Our room was very nice. Clean and looked updated. The beds were soft. My husband complained about his back but I liked them.
The ice machine was far from our room but whatever. LoL
We did have to wear our masks anywhere on the hotel we went.
There's no smoking allowed.
We ate at the Cafe. We got our foos to go. It was reasonably priced and cooked pretty quick. We had a huge order. I had fish/shrimp and fries, with a cesar salad. Hubby had a double bacon cheeseburger with fries. We also ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and got dessert,a smores brownie,cookies and cream brownie and apple fritter. Everything was great. Very basic but good. Ask for condiments, we didn't and they didn't give any. We paid $60 for all that and the portions were HUGE! We walked in at 845pm and left at 925pm with 2 people ahead of us. So we say Great!
The gambling floor wasn't super busy. But they have tons of game's. We are not big gamblers.
Oh...we brought our small service dog and had no issues.
Over all it was a good night for us. We will visit again!
We forgot to take pics of our room and food. Smh. We will do better. LoL

Very disappointed!! Not one cocktail waitress came by to offer us a drink! We were in several different places in the casino.

Great restaurant for Mexican food. The prices are very expensive, $19.00 for Guacamole...a little ridiculous

I had my baby shower here. We were able to book a private room for the buffet fir 2 hours. There was alot of room and we went on prime rib night! AMAZING FOOD!!

I ate at the Panda Express located in their food court and overall had a great experience the people were nice and very cheerful

Out every morning the gym has decent equipment but it is filthy , hair , dusty and sweet build up from months if use Gross

Is an ok casino and most of staff are friendly so that's nice.

The Santa Fe Station Buffet had alot of choices to offer with everything from barbeque to Asian to Mexican food. The food was a little cold at times but my favorite cold thing was there Italian Gelato! They had 8 different flavors of gelato to choose from and they were all extremely good! My favorite flavor was chocolate. Overall, I would definitely recommend this buffet for the price and variety.

Rooms are clean. Staff is very attentive. Food is great.

Very nice. I played Keno didn't win LOL but the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very friendly.

Just walked through to get to the meeting rooms but it was clean in the casino, everything seemed to be in working order. Meeting room was nice. The only problem I had was the meeting room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Went early in the morning and it smelt worse then the casino area.

Great rooms, great service, and very competitive pricing on rooms.

Close and have fun the rooms are small and the pool is small also. Buffet is ok but the cafe is better.

Went to the Feast Buffet for my son's birthday dinner. Food was great, everyone got what they wanted to eat. Overall, it was a great time!

Just a little smokey smell but otherwise it is pretty nice! Lots of things to do and some nice restaurants and bars. Bowling here is awesome!

Over priced rooms. There are much better casinos with hotels in Las Vegas so avoid this one.

don't pay any attention to the kiosk when it says YOU WON 10,000 SLOT PLAY POINTS because you don't get a single thing. apparently it's something to get you to play on your phone which might be good if you have a smartphone and apps etc but I do NOT and I got absolutely nothing. waste of time and totally false.

If you're coming into town and you need a place to stay that would be fun and friendly for your whole family this would definitely be a good place to stop they have good food, the pool is private,movie theater, and the cocktail waitresses are friendly.

Love coming to this place. Food, drinks, & money what more could you ask for.

Went with a friend to the theatre for a movie. Quick entry into the casino despite COVID screen. No long lines. Theatre set up well for distancing. VERY CLEAN. Super comfortable seats. Friendly staff. Great popcorn. Would definitely go again.

I was there 14 hours gambling. I was a harassed by security seven times about my masks not covering my nose. I was approached by 40 from people asking me for money. The whole place smells like cigarette smoke. The parking lot store delighted.. my car got broken into. The poker players are friendly my phone got stolen.

Ive always had great service here and the nights ive stayed were great but this time i was dissappointed couldn't get any sleep kids were jumping on beds pounding on walls like damn where are parents in this room they were running up and down so irritated. Worst time ever

It's a nice casino but automated roulette/craps does not give points 1 pt. for 12.00 play. VERY BAD

I Visit the Santa Fe at least 3 times a month. Whether its the movies, the Buffet or Wing Stop. I love the casino. The staff is friendly and helpful if needed.

Went to see a movie at the theater. The food was prepared quickly with almost no wait. The seats were very comfortable and reclined. I would definitely visit this theater again.

Not bad no complaints except in th le grand cafe the chicken fried steak was terrible But the server comped it and brought out some of the best pancakes ive ever had.....those A+ over all great place

Great property if you don't feel like fighting the Strip or downtown. Several great dining options. Bowling alley and movie theater with comfy reclining seats. Tuesday they offer $5.00 movies which is fabulous! Highly recommend!!!

It was nice. Friendly staff and clean rooms. It's not noisy in the rooms. Plus the rooms are very secure.

Santa Fe Station has always been my favorite casino. Strip quality with great local's service.

Basic hotel accomodations decent prices. The buffet is one of the best ones in las vegas, we ate there for both dinner and breakfast. Various ethnic foods all good. I notice that locals came here just to eat, with a players card you get a big discount. Other restauran chain including starbucks.

Great casino especially if you're a local. A lot of slot and table options. Minimums for tables are cheap. I've literally spent 3 hours on roulette playing with $100. The buffet isn't bad either and it's about $20 a person. Good options and the prime rib is great. Buffet consists of Italian, American BBQ, Asian, Tex Mex and some seafood. Plenty of options for dessert. There's also a bowling alley, arcade, movie theater, and a kids quest. So plenty to do for a family. This is larger than most local casinos. Come check this place out and you won't be disappointed.

Went for dinner at the Feast. I was pretty worked up for a delightful experience that was never to come. I used to eat Station Casinos 20 years ago and had good memories but my experience recently left me disappointed and hungry. The staff were a mixed bag. Great server (Denise) but everyone else was clearly thinking about being somewhere else but honestly I didn't go there to mingle and converse so I digress. The food, that's what this review it's really about right? My opinion... For a great dinner, keep your 17 bucks in your pocket and go almost anywhere else.

Great casino and hotel. Wished we could have walked away with our gambling money.
