Nice menu. Good food. A bunch of gluten free choices, which is not all that common in Santa Fe.

Always a quality restaurant experience! Consistent excellent results, delicious salads and meat dishes, southwest/ New Mexican and international meals, quick service, bar and kitchen in view and reasonable pricing. I come here at least once a week.
Good food but carry out gets orders incorrect often. Ordered three salads and they only had one prepared for pickup. Had to wait extra time for other salads.
Great food and great service! I often come here when I m in town and never disappointed. The locals come here too.
Rude manger.
I've come here for 10 year and ordered the Chimayo chicken sandwich. This go around I sent it back because the chicken in my pregnant wife's sandwich was raw. The manager came over and said it wasn't raw when you could clearly see pink. The cook did not refire the meal just heated the chicken and sent it back. When I told the manager about it, she said that's all she was supposed to do. Bad customer service and bad service practices. Unfortunately they have lost a very loyal customer.
Food was great air conditioner broken environment uncomfortable
From the looks of the menu this place sounded great however the food was bland and possibly microwaved, definitely frozen. I ordered the fish tacos, the fish was over cooked. The meatloaf was very tv dinner-ish. The burger was medicore. The salsa was like watery canned tomatoes. The service sucked! Go 2 businesses over to Atrisco Cafe and Bar...
Decent food, Kinda bland. Small portions. Good drinks and low prices
Very nice restaurant, good food, pleasant atmosphere
Great local food. Surprisingly reasonable prices. Decent service. Warm atmosphere.
Excellent selection, great quality, friendly service, just a really good experience.
My wife and I come here often for the peppercorn steak salad although we substitute the poblano dressing for blue cheese vinaigrette it's one of our favorites in town.
The service is always great! Food is awesome! Friday they have prime rib and it is by far the best!
Its good but the fact they won't hire veterans is a shame. I've had serving experience and the interview just goes downhill when I tell the manager I was overseas.
Love their steak salad - Gotta try it if on Keto diet
Consistently good. Reasonable prices. Pleasant atmosphere and fast service. Convenient location helps as well.
One of the four good value restaurants in Santa Fe that don't serve New Mexican food alone.
Easy. Even if you're a major carnivore, go for the blue corn veggie enchiladas. Simply heaven. The Chile spiced rice and black beans complement the enchiladas. I opted for Christmas sauced..both green and red. It did not disappoint! Pair with a locally brewed Santa Fe Pale Ale and it's perfection on a plate!
My favorite go to place in Santa Fe. I love the grilled peppercorn salad.
Really nice and healthy take on NMcan food. I really liked the sauces used on the salmon and meatloaf.
First time there. Nice ambiance. We started with chips and guacamole, a cold draft amber beer, and then the main courses. Food portions were generous and tasty. My wife had the lemon chicken asado. I had the tamarind baby back ribs. Both were finger licking good. No room for dessert. We will definitely return.
Reasonably priced mix of Southwest and standard dishes. Full bar. Prompt and friendly service. Outdoor seating is attractive.
First time out since COVID-19 shut down. Had a late lunch on the patio, so nice to be out again, staff wore face masks and seemed very careful and respectful of the precautions. Food was good! Nice not having to cook dinner today
Don't look any further for baked chicken. It's the best
The food never disappoints and great service as always. Always check what the special is because the Prime Rib is 5 stars!
The waiter was the worst ever! The food was very Bland! I end up getting food poisoning from there! I would never eat there again play! I actually rate this place a zero
Steak salad with blue cheese vinegar ette dressing is so good, with a roll and butter.
They think that no cheese means no cheese toppings but cheese inside is ok...... And they didn't offer a replacement nor a discount.
A bit pricey and not a lot to select from, but the atmosphere and wait staff was excellent and customer service always gets 5 stars in my book!
Great flavors! The steak street tacos dinner is an amazing flavor combo!
Rude and presumptuous waiter. We had a delightful lunch, including 2 Long Island Ice Teas. Food was excellent. Service was good but not exceptional. We could not believe the waiter actually had the audacity to question the amount of the gratuity we left. He questioned whether the food and service was acceptable, then actually proceeded to try to lecture us about "customary" 20% tips. He shut up when I said I'd be happy to take the gratuity back. This audacious fool diminished what would otherwise have been a pleasant experience. Management should address this issue since I see another patron had a similar experience. We enjoy and recommend this restaurant, at least when you don't have to deal with presumptuous waiters.
Birthday dinner for Mother. Called ahead and ask for birthday cake to celebrate. Got there and reminded hostess. Told waiter. At the end of meal, nothing. Asked to speak to manager, hostess said she was tied up can I just speak to her. At this point, was upset and just ask for check to leave. Instead manager now comes over to table to talk about it in front of my Mother. Again, just tell them I want my check so I can leave. Now they bring the cake...... Still made to wait 15 more minutes to get check.
I have been to this place 20 plus times. I'm still taken back how they handled this. For me, It was the last time for me and my family.
Best burger in town for its price. Friendly staff comfortable environment easy location. I am a chef. The burger I experienced was at the temp I ordered perfectly not over seasoned and quality beef ! The bun was buttery not dry or soggy, bacon was perfect the lettuce pickle tomatoes and onions crisp colorful and inviting the fries were golden perfection of crispyness. Salted perfectly . now the green Chile was what was the cherry on top of perfection. It had so much flavor and at the same time spicy and all that together plus the customer service and price ? Come on you can't beat that! I'll be back soon that's forsure!
Great grill food, wonderful live guitar on the patio. Easy and comfortable
I have been going here for more than 10 years but still love it! The chamma chicken sandwich is excellent as are most all of the options on the menu.
Had not been here before and it was recommended by my cousins who live in Santa Fe. Pretty good food and very good service. Locals are aware that all food in Santa Fe has a "kick" and so those who are passing through might be on their guard or looking forward with pleasant anticipation to the seasoning of the food.
The waitstaff are very helpful and friendly. We ordered a club sandwich, beef salad, guacamole, and a couple of green chile burgers. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The only issue we had was with the green chile - the chile had way too many seeds and peel so we ended up scraping it off our burgers.
I've never understood why people go there. To call it ho hum would be generous. I give it two stars because the food there has never made me sick.
Very good. Reasonable priced. Good service. Excellant food and variety
Service was great...food was TERRIBLE. I never leave reviews. But for how high prices are here, others need to be aware. You re better off going to Taco Bell for Tex mex.
Always friendly attentive service and the menu, though limited, is excellent.
A great place to eat, drink and be in good company.
Pricey but good food. Place was pretty hopping too.
Great place to have lunch or dinner. High quality comfy food and service is Excellent.
Has a nice outdoor eating area. The food and service are great.
Great place, food, atmosphere and locally owned and food sources.
Always a great meal...great service and food and drinks.
I had the Southwest burger with green chile: reasonably healthy & tasty, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. All around a good experience
We eat here every time were in Santa Fe. The food is outstanding, especially their coconut shrimp.
Good Food.
OK Service.
Problems always with Reservations.
Great service, nice menu and tasty, large portions
Food was really delicious, we had the Frenched pork and the Steak Tacos, we also had the brownie for desert. Everything was good!
Service was excellent, Eric was our waiter, please give him a raise!
This is a local place that a local from Santa Fe told us about and it beats all of the touristy restaurants that we tried!
Celebrated 3 Birthdays here yesterday, great fried oysters, salmon and service. (Christopher) I wish the fired oysters were one of the House Specialties!
Thank you,

Ate here based on a recommendation from a local, checked reviews and most were decent so we gave it a shot. Salsa was pretty good, service was good, atmosphere was good but the food was lacking. Very bland all around. I had steak tacos and the steak was over cooked and flavorless, even the diced onions on them were flavorless (leading me to believe they were not even close to fresh), my husband had the baby back ribs and said they were okay but the sauce just tasted like straight ketchup and my son got the rotisserie chicken and it was super dry. All together our bill was $57 and I definitely would say it was NOT worth the price.

Having been a regular here since 1985 when they were downtown, I was completely shocked and aghast when threatened with the police. Our waitress, recognizing my daughters steak was overcooked took it back to the kitchen at her own insistence, my daughter asking her not to worry said it was O.K. and said clearly that there was no problem.
The shocking part was when the manager Heather Chase almost assaulted my daughter returning her overcooked steak and saying she was not going to do anything about it and it was cooked correctly, in the rudest manner I have ever heard at the Bar and Grill.
Heather rather than have any further discussion threatened me,my wife and my daughter with the police.
To sum it up we were threatened with the police because the waitress recognized that my daughters steak was over cooked and tried to do the right thing, doing the right thing was quashed by Heather Chase who could certainly use some training in hospitality and should back off of the hostility
I have had large family parties here, and celebrations for years, this was a complete shock.
