I chose the unlimited ride wristband, which i almost never splurge on, anywhere. It was well worth it! Had a blast! Also, the haunted attraction costs $7, but it was well worth that also!
Fun place, rides, food, but very busy when we were there. Would like to return when less crowded. End of summertime is probably peak season.
Really cool place! Make sure to visit if your in the area.
Over the years the the rides have been getting progressively better. And the place is progressively cleaner
Take plenty of money. $4.50 for a small soft serve cone.
Always a great place to stop, so much to do and see.
Best rides for the traditional park rider I love the wooden coaster great for blowing the blues away.
Rides roller coaster haunted house more games food suvioner stores games win prizes arcade and of course the beach
Theres a bunch of games and arcade and rides as well
This is a good place to visit for entertainment but may not suit the taste of nature lovers.
The weather was perfect, lots of amenities (easy to locate), the roller coaster and merry go round are genuine antiques, and now one of a kind treasures from a diferent era, the beach there is in a lovely protected cove, all of which made it such a perfect day! Cant wat to go back!
Wonderful!!!!! I went later in the day when the stores park was closed and enjoyed the casino/arcade... the best part was walking the boardwalk and hearing the waves crash, just beautiful!!
Absolutely crazy amount of people with decent prices and the best Play Store all you can eat fried anything
My daughter is 11 she had a blast with her friend .
Very beautiful place with good restaurants with perfect ocean view
Alright place to check out the boardwalk for nostalgic reasons. Beach is kind of dirty. Rides and games are okay.
The boardwalk is awesome! Great rides for the little ones.
Amazing beach with good rides and games.. but in weekends and holidays, it is much crowded.
Spending the day at Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk was absolutely awesome. The wristband deal is a great price to get on all the rides and not have to worry about getting individual tickets. When it came time for snacks and food I really appreciate it all the alternate healthier choices available. We love the old-fashioned wooden roller coaster. Definitely a great option for family fun or a date on a sunny day at the coast. Just a note we ended up there on a cooler day and still had fun with our coats and hats on.
This is home! To many and I'm glad to have memories here. Changes but it's still the Santa Cruz boardwalk.
Food was good. But beware. It is fair food prices. So can be very expensive. A beer was $8 for a tall can
Wasn't part of the original plan but was a great day due to the fact that the place is well organized and the lines were short
Santa Cruz was a place to be hot summer times and even in the winter time. I kind of grew up here cuz I've spent all my years in San Jose and Milpitas and Santa Cruz love Santa Cruz love Beach Boardwalk great place all the time.
We were in the area for an event and decided to check out the Boardwalk before we left. A pleasant surprise. We were there on a Friday afternoon. Clean, uncrowded, lots to do and see. A nice line was forming for the free concert. Can t wait to take the grandkids there.
Super fun time. The lines were a little long. A variety of activities. Really enjoyed shopping, eating, attending the arcade and. amusement park rides. Then we had a leisurely time on the beautiful beach. The water was cold but it was a perfect day to be there. The lifeguards were there and very attentive. There was plenty of security on the boardwalk and they were very friendly. Felt like a safe environment. The parking across the street was $15 for the day. I would recommend a visit.
If you are a young you will be have a lot fun but if you go with family like little kids you get stress out quickly, for wait the rides took a lot time,
Coming from the east coast where parking is usually 20-25 and u have to pay additions to get onto the beach makes this place even better. Meters are outdated though (only accepts quarters) should accept credit cards too, the lots are $15 for the day. The boardwalk has a great variety of food and rides. The waves and water temperatures are just like NYC!
Super cool place... maybe understaffed... not very clean.. especially the restrooms..
Nice place. Crowded. Not really my thing but worth visiting once. Parking is expensive unless you can find some street parking.
The west cliff trail that along the ocean is one of the best tails I have ever run. The. View is great and the the wind breeze on your face while running is wonderful
Amazing boardwalk definitely worth the money we payed so.much fun and the people at the games hook it up
Beautiful place. Was raining when we drove thru but still awesome.
A beautiful place to visit, great games on the boardwalk, the pier has some of the best restaurants and a beautiful view. Not to mention the beach is so peaceful and fun. So many great memories I have had there and can't wait to go again.
Get into boardwalk for free. Great beach at no cost! Gotta purchase tickets for rides but the Big Dipper and the Carousel are always a must. Getting into Santa Cruz can be a hassle, but once you make it there it's worth it.
Broadwalk has 2 fun arcades, plenty of picnic benches with umbrellas, many new volley ball nets & courts. Down town has new places to eat & coffee houses. Ice cream at Pennys Ice Cream so creamy delicious, line was a block long. Word on str..is its made frm goat milk. There is a new big hotel being built across st frm B.W too.
Its a really cool place but not the best place ever.
Great place to have some fun games, food, and the beach.
Loved this place spent the week there with my family really nice if you like to surf plenty of good food items recommend this place to anyone who likes to relax and explore.
Ps:sorry if this is not useful information to you it's my first public post.
Awesome place to take the family! Passed by on my way home from San Francisco. The beach looked nice and the atmosphere of the boardwalk was pretty cool. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food at the pier is overpriced, as expected though. I recommend you look at your alternative options, if you're trying to save a little money. I also got on the ride that takes you across the boardwalk, I believe it was called the "Sky Flyer" ? Or something along those lines. You must purchase a card and put money in it in order to get on the rides. I want to come back and spend the whole day here. Definitely reccomend that you pass by this place if given the chance.
I want to move out there someday it's beautiful and the people are so nice I'm thinking another trip is coming...
A fun place for a few rides in the Boardwalk and delicious seafoodw at thr many restaurants to choose from the boardwalk.
What a nice safe clean beach. Lots of facilities to keep everyone happy young or old. After you have had enough you can grab a drink or something from many of the stalks all over the place. Then go take a walk on the beach. There was a live band the day we visited and it reminded me of days before phones. Lots of older but cool rides! Gotta try get the rings in mouth on the carousel rid. Doesn t matter if you re with grandpa, grandma or the children everyone will have a great day
I've been going here since I was a little kid. It has always been a lot of fun. Great rides in a carnival-like atmosphere. Corn dogs are amazing!
Beautiful and Fun... Its got its romantic perks too!
Typical arcade and fair rides. Everything is over priced for the tourists. Great for kids.
One of my favorite places to visit no matter how many times. If you have kids fun place for them but can be spendy place. Love me some beach
The beach is amazing! And the places you can have rides on are so good that it is so thrilling!
Great experience.. the beach. to the food on the wharf. And awesome rides
Very clean and love the free music on the beach during the summer months.
not for COVID period.
Meanwhile, cozy place
Best crab and shrimp luies in the state and the seals are hell of funny and its even better if you go at night with all the lights on
Always have some type of issue on the beach. But the boardwalk is always fun. Price keeps going up though
Fun times here with my kids! Great rides, shops, and those garlic fries are so delicious! There were even some vegan options!
Nice place for outing and fun, we had a great time and traveled back to our childhood, enjoyed few rides and games! Beach is also accessible so you can plan the whole day and enjoy!
Great beach! Gets very busy later in the day. Great rides, food, and entertainment. Certainly worth getting a wristband and there's always a promo going on.
Loved the cheer comp. That was there. Food was good.
Awesome car show some days in the parking lot and the rides are amazing. Beach is crowded some times. Manage your parking in advance or you have to keep searching.
Not much has changed in the last 15 years or so since we've been here. Except for a slight update on some of the video games. And maybe a ride or two has changed slightly
Fun place for family, plenty of rides and attractions and lots of "fair type" food offerings and not too expensive. $1.50 rides on Monday and Tuesday after 5pm
I came here a thousand times had a thrill and chilled for the rides and I had good food and went on the awesome beach and seen the stars and sunset!!!
It has been such a long time since I was here, but I have good memories of going on all the rides, and going swimming. It was a fun weekend.
One of the finest beaches near bayarea
Lot of fun activity can be done
Good to visit any sunny day and has lot of dry and wet rides
Volley ball courts are the best
I can't remember the word for being nostalgic for a place you've never been. Well, that's this place. Skee-ball, cheesy rides, Tom Petty cover band, and an endless supply of carnival food. My Lost Boys cosplay dreams were finally fulfilled.
It's a great way to enjoy the day with the kid's & family. The ocean is always soothing the boardwalk is full of entertainment , rides & great food.
We love the free summer concerts
It s a great place to spend the day with the family. There is something for everyone to do. Parking is hard to find and the lots have long lines so get there early. The price for food and drinks is moderate. Will recommend to buy the season pass for kids since they get unlimited rides every time you visit. Other activities are included like movie nights and concerts so plan accordingly.
The beach was beautiful and the kids had alot of fun! Prices are high but that's kind of expected
Beautiful place! Not usually a huge roller coaster person but the ones here were very thrilling.
Lots of rides, amusements and food. The mini golf course was fun.
No admission fee to enter the park, which is great. You pay for the rides you take. If you don't take the rides, you can accompany others who do. The rides are classified as thrill, family and kids, but some of the thrill rides are tame while others are thrilling.
Fun place to spend the day. A lot of rides and games and food. If you get the chance to do it, I would recommend taking the train from Roaring Camp Railroads to the boardwalk spending the day at the boardwalk and then taking the train back.
I've gone here since I was born and it has always been a GREAT time. So much fun for children AND adults. I mean like I said I've gone since I was born and I'm 21 now. It's so beautiful as well. It can be chilly or warm so best to check weather, even days that say its gonna be warm bring a light jacket! Or don't, there are a few cute little shops to buy things from. Don't forget to come hungry, lots eat!
Has changed, DRASTICALLY! And not for the better, DRASTICALLY! for the worse. Somehow still has gotten more crowded and pricier though. I took my little brothers here this summer and it's no longer for children and their parents or even teenagers, it's an unamusing park for yuppies to bask in a nostalgia that they weren't part of, and it is priced as such. Next year; Local Wine and Micro Brew tasting in the Big Dipper's(Will probably have to change it to Big Gender Neutral Roller Coaster) 21 and over riders.
The Recycler's Revenge with plastic water bottle or aluminum can shaped seating boats. BECAUSE WOOD IS BLOOD AND TIMBER IS MEAT AND MURDER.
Very trendy place, lots of attractions. Most visit here.
