Sangallo Palace Hotel Review

Bad experience, for a 4 star it leaves a lot to be desired how do you forget to clean the room after being out until 6pm, without even an apology, but the thing that left me puzzled is that they clean the room at 8pm pm, there was no thought of cleaning the bathroom. Disappointed

Strategically well placed: 100 meters from the escalators and at the terminus of the bus lines that take you throughout Umbria. Comfortable and clean rooms, abundant breakfast and right dinners.

Very elegant hotel, spotless and with impeccable service. Very nice indoor pool and gym as complete as necessary. The only flaw is the non-working counter-current swimming. It would be perfect if there was also a sauna / steam room (there would be space). Very varied breakfast with sweet and savory. The location is fantastic! A few meters from the escalators that lead to the historic center. Considering also the quality / price ratio, it is one of the best hotels in Perugia

We spent two nights at Sangallo, my husband and I. Very friendly staff, varied and good breakfast, cleanliness in the standard, well heated environment, very good location. I advise! The only flaw is the swimming pool and the fitness environment, in this latter too much temperature change and in the pool water tends to be cold rather than warm, too bad because after walking around Perugia it would have been nice to have a relaxing hot bath (since the pool is 'is, even if it is not a spa) rather than cold! We have cmq stayed very well.

A stone's throw from the center, friendly staff, in the restaurant you can eat quite well and (importantly in this period) they accept the holiday bonus with no time conditions!

Nothing to complain about the staff, kind and helpful but the mattress is too uncomfortable and noisy, the absence of the bidet and above all insufficient breakfast management; these days I have not found the same inefficiency in other hotels of the same level and with the same presence of guests. Average breakfast buffet offer but not 4 star.

Excellent structure, very clean rooms practically in the center of Perugia, courteous but discreet staff, functional and equipped fitness room and swimming pool. Fair prices for the period of stay.

very nice hotel, spacious and well-appointed. Access and exit quite comfortable even if the escalators for the city are only uphill: downhill you have to make the steps. Parking available for 11 a day.

Old style hotel, not everyone likes it. It's expensive, but the staff is courteous and helpful, there's a pool with enough hot water and next to it a gym with not many tools but nice. The breakfast is excellent, very rich with a wide choice of dishes. The room is very clean, there is also TV and heating. A reading room is also available. Optimal position, there are escalators that take you directly to the center if you don't feel like walking. There is free WiFi, and to park the car there is a fairly expensive car park next door, 10/11 per day

I stayed at the Palace hotel one night. Old fashioned room, comfortable bed and overall the facility is very nice and clean. They were kind at the front desk. Great breakfast, plenty of it and a wide selection of desserts. I also used the indoor pool in the structure. Quiet and clean. Little frequented that day so I was in total relax. The structure is in a very convenient location !! Near the escalators that lead to the center and right next to the station.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, with a very bad memory why my friends' safe deposit box was opened on the first night and we were robbed of euro and dollars, we had a very bad time why they treated us as liars, they didn't take care of nothing, my references are already very bad.

Nothing to complain, clean rooms, excellent hospitality, equipped with swimming pool, proximity to the center. I would remove the carpet in the rooms.

Superior hotel. Large and spacious rooms, central location. Nothing to complain about for structure and restaurant. ATTENTION when they ask you about the parking because they do not tell you that it costs 11 euros and you find it on the bill.

It deserves for its location because it is near the escalators that lead to the historic center of Perugia and also for the low price. The structure is quite new even though it should be better maintained; some minor inconveniences such as the lack of a soap dish in the shower cubicle or the availability of a single bedside table with the lack of a lamp near the bed and the absence of a switch to control the lights in the room could make it unattractive. The breakfast is excellent, it has a restaurant and an outdoor parking lot for which unfortunately, it is necessary to pay. However despite these small negativities the hotel is recommended to tourists for the price and also for the fact that it is close to the car coach station.

I was in this hotel to visit Perugia with a friend. The hotel is in an excellent location, good services, very nice and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, as soon as I arrived I got sick and so I almost always stayed in the room. The hotel staff was extremely kind to meet me in this misadventure. If I return to Perugia surely this hotel will be my choice.

This hotel is in a good location for visiting the city, it is in fact right next to the escalators that lead to the center. The rooms are very clean and well furnished in a luxurious classic style. While in the morning you have a sweet and savory continental breakfast with almost everything you want (with the exception of pancakes). At the reception they are very courteous.

Good four-star hotel very close to the historic center of Perugia, an ideal place for visiting the beautiful Umbrian city. Good reception and check-in, very kind staff, even if the hotel does not have parking (agreement with the nearby public parking at a cost of 11 per day). Our room was comfortable and bright, perhaps slightly demodic in furnishings but functional in its main elements. Impeccable cleaning of the rooms and common areas. Breakfast a little too conventional for a four-star hotel but with quality products, although unfortunately there is no express coffee shop (hot products supplied by automatic machines). The hotel also has a fitness area and a swimming pool that I don't use.

A good hotel, elegant and right in the center, just below the escalators that connect the historic center. Convenient as a location for the court (former Enel building), which is a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are comfortable, in my only the TV remote control didn't work ... but never mind! Spectacular Wifi. Good breakfast, only coffee leaves something to be desired, as indeed in almost all hotels. Overall a good experience. Would I go back? In fact, I always return when I go to Perugia.

Hotel in a strategic position, close to the escalator. Clean and tidy rooms. Mine was without a balcony (I don't know the others). I was not convinced breakfast: the croissants were not good, they were a bit dry, as if they had been the day before. Little fruit available. I have not tried other services nor the restaurant. All in all a good hotel, but with a margime improvement. Recommended.

It would reach excellent by simply raising the temperature of the pool water, unfortunately low ... otherwise excellent for finishing rooms and everything else.

Beautiful hotel in a strategic position, helpful and kind reception staff, as well as ALL the rest of the staff (breakfast room, cleaning etc ...).
FANTASTIC rooms with cutting-edge technology, mega TV and even LED night light (with the possibility to choose the range of colors!) In the bathroom !!! TOP cleaning and GREAT attention also to the environment with recycled and natural products.
In short, if you go to Perugia, you must stop here! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great LOCATION, close to CENTRO STORICO of the city. In addition, the hotel is located on Piazza dei Partigiani where public transportation can be used.

BREAKFAST : For my experience, the best part of the hotel. Huge choice of food and above all very good

Whilst the rooms were a little dated, they were well maintained by a fantastic maid service. The food was satisfactory, but left a little to be desired. However, this was easily rectified through the location and ease of access to the town center. The gym itself seemed to be more ticking a box than a quality facility for visiting athletes and the pool was very enjoyable.

Quite an old hotel with limited facility. We arrived too late to see anything despite its central location. Hotel restaurant is good for a dinner. Tasting menu needs to be reserved 2 days in advance
