This hotel was wonderful! It was clean, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and we had a wonderful honeymoon here. We got couples massages which were very relaxing, enjoyed the pool area, and the access to the beach! The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. We also love the fruit infused water that was in the gym and lobby each day.
The only recommendation we had would be to make the beach umbrella's free of charge to guests as it was disappointing to get onto the beach with the sun beaming and find out we can't use an umbrella unless we pay for it.
The staff is incredibly well trained and made our stay wonderful. The gulf front rooms are not worth it unless you get one that is on the protruding part of the building. My room was in the main middle section and while technically was gulf front it was more more a pool view with the gulf in the background. The rooms are starting to be worn. My carpet was damp in parts, the chair in the desk was ripped. Location is great but the price is not justified.
Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Grab a lounge chair and a pitcher of Buccaneers from the bar
By far one of the BEST resorts my family has ever stayed in. This resort has EVERYTHING! The staff are phenomenal, and will go out of their way to make your stay one to remember! The resort Concierge Marth, went above and beyond in helping us book a last minute inshore fishing trip! My family LOVED every minute of our stay here. With private Beach access, amazing restaurants, and tons of amenities... you will definitely find something for the entire family. We will never stay anywhere else, while visiting Clearwater!
Just had a manicure and pedicure done here for my bachelorette weekend and zena did an amazing job. She was so sweet and took her time. I also had a massage and facial and it was excellent as well. Wish I would have caught the specialist name. Love the spa here!
I visited the Sandpearl Resort for a week long conference.
The resort was very clean and staff were all super friendly. The breakfast buffet had any assortment of food choices.
Loved the welcome glass of champagne.
We did not get what we paid for. The room we want was not available, the room we reserved was not available at check in. They tell you all the gulf view rooms start at the 3rd floor but there is no 1st or 2nd floor so the 3rd floor was actually the 1st floor. Our gulf view room we got at check in did not have the view we thought we were paying for. Our 3rd floor view was block by palm trees. $650 plus a night only gets you a bed and a bottle of water. We were billed $25 per night for someone else parking. Guest have to pay for parking, breakfast and anything else they want. The staff was nice and service was good. You are definitely paying for the location (on the beach) not the experience. Its a kid / Family friendly resort. Not the romantic getaway for a couple. The advertised private beach is not private. Its open to the public and the public has access to the resort thru the restaurant that service both.
Well trained staff and beautiful pool and beach. Rooms could use some gussying up but the hospitality was flawless...I would pass on the SPA...Massage was efficient and robotic and felt like I was in more of a PT environment than a relaxation Spa...restaurant was typical hotel quality but the bar staff was friendly and professional in a "non corporate handbook way" and provided a welcoming experience for this weary traveler...special shout out to Juan Carlos and Stacy! Try the chicken quisadilla on the late night bar menu...may be the best I ever had!
Stayed here for 4 days for a company retreat and it was amazing!
The view to the beach is beautiful and the staff made our stay more enjoyable.
Fairly close to nearby restaurants and the small pit on the beach to make s'mores was an added bonus.
