They don't care about their employees, they use temp workers then lay them off "because things changed" right before they can be full time. No schedule to go by, little to no notice of change & they favor full time employees over temp.

This review is in regards to the Sanden hot water heaters from a homeowner's perspective. The 1 star here is solely for the fact that the technology of their hot water heaters is by far the most efficient available in the US and certainly where the future of hot water heaters should be going in the future (although they should pair the heat pump outside with something more similar to the Rheem marathon tank inside that is known for very little heat loss and has a lifetime warranty). The low review is due to my interactions with Sanden and their sales team. first, I had to email several people before I received any response. several of the email addresses listed on the Sanden hot water heater website are no longer correct or these sales people no longer work there. I informed Sanden of this and they still have not updated the website with the correct sales people. The one sales rep I was able to get in contact with was using an @aol email address, which I hate to say, but to me screams "I don't know anything about technology". This sales rep proceeded to send me several emails with brochures and data sheets about the hot water heaters before getting to know anything about my needs or interest in their product (I'm a homeowner doing research into a new hot water heater to replace my existing one). He explained that his email account had a max file size that wouldn't allow him to send them all at once, which again was indicative of the low quality of an AOL domain. I first inquired about closer suppliers as their website listed the closest on in Brooklyn NY and I live south of Baltimore MD. They informed me of a closer supplier in Delaware that was not listed on their website (again, the site is very out of date). When asking about installers they had zero response as to ANYONE in the entire Mid Atlantic area who has installed this system and could provide me a quote. I was told that any HVAC pro could install the system and they would teach anyone they had to. I'm a father with young children and I can't trust my family's hot water needs to an installer who is doing this for the first time. After all these interactions I had very little confidence in this company as a whole and did not want to spend my money on this new technology despite the fact that I feel it is a really promising idea. very disappointed.

If I could give no stars I would customer service is trash no one will speak to you and will have u waiting at the dock for hours if you don t say anything all the staff in shipping should be fired all of em mad for no reason they shouldn t be there unprofessional!!!

My wife used to work here for the past 14 years. When she got injured, they weren't treating her nicely. They also forced her to work, even though she had a lot of pain. After she was tired of their bad behavior, she quit. This is what you expect from working there for a very long time. Very bad experience..

I worked for Sanden from 2003 to 2008,I did my best for improvements for company, Ivwent to Thailand 2 times to saved company business, drove everyday to work 75miles, did everythings to saved company money, in 2008 when Automobile facilities down side I got laid off,Thanks to them for laid me off, now I work for a great company, lives go on that's I told everyone,what they do ? They have to do to survive....Hope sanden be a bright again one day.
