View was beautiful the course was in great condition
This is a private club! They do rent out rooms for events. They did my high school class reunion a few years ago. A decent option
nothing beats this lovely view, while playing tennis in early spring sunshine
Came for dinner, stayed for the coconut prawns. Seriously, the coconut prawns were amazing. The slightly spicy yet sweet sauce is also quite good. Pretty good beer selection including 3 on tap Oktoberfest beers. The ahi tuna tacos were pretty good but not spectacular. Service was very friendly and gave some suggestions. The best part was, I didn't have to borrow a member's jacket!
Lovely historical golf club over looking lake Washington
A North Seattle classic! Golf course is fun if not little funky. Course in fantastic shape.
Played here many times for tournaments and think this is a very quirky course. Lots of slopes and turns make it really fun. My favorite hole is #10, a super steep downhill par 3 that's beautiful. The course is ituated just above the shores of Lake Washington and offers beautiful views of the lake and the Cascade Mountain range. This course is private, so you'll need to know someone to get in.
Nice club with golf course, swimming pool and tennis court
Sand Point is part of a super high end gated community which is surrounded by more high end neighborhoods. The clubhouse is very old but relatively recent updates have removed the feeling of being in a mausoleum when in the dining room or bar and replaced it with a modern brightness that is both relaxing and inviting. I haven't golfed there but the course looks nice and the grounds are immaculate.
This is an older established complete country club in Seattle. I went for the first time to play the golf course. Wow it is beautifully maintained but the terrain is not to my liking. Many holes were severely uphill or severely down hill and had a number of blind shots. Perhaps over the course of a few rounds I'd be less bothered by this but would certainly not consider the facility as a place to take a golf membership. The driving range in particular is into a series of Nets about a hundred and fifty yards from the mat. I prefer grass practiced trees and a 250 yard range. The clubhouse is very nice and drinks after the round on the outside patio were great. Also looked into the swimming pool area. There was a children's wading pool as well as a full-size adult pool that was being used for afternoon swim lessons in Lanes. Again a very nice facility and for those who want to swim and play tennis as well as golf there is no other facility in the area that comes close to this one. My overall rating of 3 stars is purely because of the terrain of the golf course.
This place is great. Lovely view of north Lake Washington. Very modern clubhouse and facilities. Super nice people. Reasonable fees, considering. Probably my favorite of Seattle area private communities.
My family has a membership here. It is a home away from home. The young kids feel comfortable here and we know it is safe for them to walk around alone. We use the swimming pool a lot in summer (even winter sometimes). We eat a long slow brunch here on Sundays. Views to the valley and sail boats and float planes on Lake Washington are to die for. The staff recognizes us and is always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend it. (PS: We don't even play golf!)
U pay for the convenience, not much of an exercise room, thou pool is heated, out door tennis which is only summer time. Restaurant is not bad, but only spent thre monthly quota, couldn't afford it, to eat there regularly they would need bigger gym facility to work out the calories
If you're not a bazillionaire with old Seattle money, don't expect to feel welcome here.
This place looked great. Played some tennis in some great courts
Very warm and inviting. Came on a dark and stormy night just before Christmas, the staff was friendly and decor was bright and inviting.
In a scale from 1 to 10 in difficulty it deserves a 7. That is the golf course, but the club and neighborhood is beautiful and family friendly.
As a member, I could say this place is perfect. The food is awesome, the curry is super good, heated pool with 24 hr gym yes please! However the driving range is a bit limited in that anything past 160 yards is in to the net. But this course is challenging to walk, especially the back 9 with big slope changes.
Private club with incredible views of Lake Washington.
This place is great! They have everything you need. Swimming, tennis, and of course, GOLF!
Love it there. Classy, clean, great views of lake Washington.
This was an excellent course that my boyfriend found challenging. The walk up some of those hills really gave us a good work out! The staff was amazing.
The food was mostly okay, but they did bring out ego waffles instead of ones they cooked themselves. (Pic is not of the ego)
50 year High School reunion held in the clubhouse. Excellent buffet with a wide variety of delicious dishes coupled with excellent wait staff. Definitely a top drawer experience.
Good food, challenging golf course, friendly and attentive staff
Beautiful setting, friendly staff and great course!
50th class reunion was fab, setting great, food great!
Great place to swim with kds. They have a bar and grill there too.
This course is a course that requires you to play most of the clubs in your bag.
Historic, glamorous and it has great views. Attended a high school reunion there and it was a perfect venue for that.
I was there once for a wedding reception. Nice place.
