Our son (1) was successfully operated twice there. The entire team, especially the pediatric cardiac surgeon himself, is absolutely competent and can be recommended. As parents of a child with a heart condition, we felt very well looked after there. The medical care, countless conversations, the hospital stays, the loving care and care - for us and our little son the best decision we have ever made!
After the terrible diagnosis, we were warmly welcomed there and encouraged. At the ZAHF Stuttgart you are in exactly the right place as a patient and as a parent of a child with such a diagnosis.

What matters is the result. First and foremost, I would like to express my profound thanks to the nursing staff. When I asked for something, they implemented it. The care is specialized in the environment heart. The nurse knows exactly what she does when and is sensitive. (Some confuse empathy with mothers, that's not possible in a clinic!) So after a mitral valve reconstruction, I was able to go independent on the second day. When I saw the result on the ultrasound, tears came to my eyes, as the result of a completely sealed flap was not to be expected. An incredibly successful performance, for which I would like to thank the OP team. The care in intensive was thank God short. The people who work in such an environment deserve my respect. I am inexorably grateful for the repair of my heart, which will give me a better quality of life. The attending doctor has done a great job for me personally. Thanks to all the people who make this possible. The cleaning staff, the people from the bistro, the technology, etc. thus one. Clinic works. Clearly, there are always things that could be different. But as written above, what matters is the result.
Small and very competent clinic specializing in heart surgery. Many positive points such as very personal contact, clean, also acceptable for cash register patients (3 bed rooms with shower and toilet). Only the food was less good.
As far as OK. As a relative, however, I have received little information and advice what I think is a great pity. The food is not a culinary delight and far too little. My husband weighed 85kg before surgery and lost 8kg until discharge (8 days)! His bed was way too short ... He could not stretch his legs to a height of 189cm (which is not too big now ...).
Patient care in this clinic is impeccable in every way. But what's more important is what doctors do, and that's great. Prof. Doll is a master of his field; All his employees are medically first-rate, responsible and reliable.
Was in the SANA in 2020 as a planned patient. Expansion of the aorta and the whole thing had to be operated on openly. At the beginning there was the admission, which was good and professionally competent. Then the social services selected and inquired about a suitable rehabilitation clinic. This was also done very well. The preliminary discussion and the preliminary examinations for the operation were carried out just as competently. The operation on the following day and the subsequent treatment is an absolute 5 * star! Great doctors with a top team who took away the previous fear of the operation, did a great job and a great aftercare. An absolute recommendation from me.

Even if I cannot subscribe to the bad reviews in any way, I understand a little what their patients think. Wherever people work, mistakes ALWAYS arise. In this area, mistakes are more serious, but still human ... I would in no way assume intent!
The whole team there is super-competent, and super nice. Sufficient time will be taken to explain everything And even if you sometimes need more care, will respond adequately and quickly. Only downside: as mentioned earlier, the food ... well ... you should get this, and then actually get that ... etc. Well, if I want to eat well, I do not go to the hospital. :-) All in all, you are in excellent hands there.
