What an awesome experience. I waited 20 years to do a bareboat charter and the experience did NOT disappoint. The boat was in first class condition and very comfortable for our family. The safety briefing before we left was excellent and very reassuring to my somewhat fearful wife. They had me have an instructor, Captain Len, on board for the first day and that was immensely helpful in getting everyone understanding the boat and their various responsibilities. Of course the San Juan Islands are just amazing! I looked at several companies before settling on SJS and I know I made the right choice. Great, well organized, professional team.

The boat and service were great! We had some engine trouble and they sent out people to try and fix it, it didnt get remediated and our trip was cut short, but I felt like they were very attentive given the unfortunate circumstances. I would definitely rent with them again for our next trip.

We chartered Pura Vida for our spring break. San Juan Sailing was exceptionally helpful and organized in getting us set up for the charter. The boat was very nicely maintained and clean. The boat was set up so well and organized in a way that made it very easy to operate. We had a great experience and there was nothing that could have been better.

I have been chartering for over ten years with San Juan Sailing. Great people, well maintained boats and you can't beat the beauty of the island.

This is our 3rd trip and it is as great as it has been in previous years.

We did our first charter with SJS and hired a skipper to help us learn both the boat and about the tides and currents. Everyone was amazing to work with and Jack our skipper was great to work with and made us feel so at ease. We cannot recommend SJS more, you will not be disappointed. We have our 2nd charter book for 2021.
