San Joaquin county fairgrounds Review

A cold day but very clear skies. For an family outings.

Always love coming to help fat city boxing with any of there events or needs

I recently stopped by to get a quote for there event halls. The to ladys in the office are very helpful an well mannered. It's nice to see people having excellent customer service.

We went to the Saturday 4:30 show and there was only about 15 families. It was a lot of family fun.

The Asperagas Festival! Always a fun place. Had scooters available so i could stay all day & see everything before my knees/legs gave out! Lots of great live music!

They re makin it right and improving literally EVERYTHING about they re brand. The Asparagus Festival was the latest of its rebranding successful events. I had the pleasure of covering the media of the event. Here s a few shots from the fun in the sun

Asparagus Festival was great here. I several people walking around collecting garbage. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Lots of garbage cans and recycle bins scattered throughout so we never had to seek one out

Went to the Asparagus Festival and had a fun time. A Carnival, Race Car display, lots of food, Beer Garden, Concert area. Fun for the whole family

Love going to the fle market on Thursdays and Mondays and Wednesdays

They have really great events from car swap meet to the asparagus festival the San Joaquin country fair and the lowrider super show

$10 to park and $10 per person just to get in the fair then you HAVE to pay for rides and ect.... NO Thanks

Went to Jurassic Quest had great time.
Only issue is the muddy road to park needs paving,
Few bathrooms needs up keeping

Hate this place... lol. Always leave with more than I was looking for. Staff is always amazing

It was so fun specially when they organized the fairs,it's good for family and cheap prices ,anybody can enjoy it in even low money rides are so amazing ,and this time they added more so it was great opportunity for kids and grownups to enjoy there self's I enjoyed it allot with my kids and family

I just love our San Joaquin county fair grounds, We have the best prices at the flee market. Yes we do love love love it. Even if i were a million dollars ahead I would still go to flee markets all over the world. Best deals on just about anything . Thanks LelaHolloman.

Waited 2.5 hours for asparagus! Orders came out 6 servings at a time to feed ALL those who waited in a hot sweltering building. Totally unacceptable!!

Aspargus Festival was a big hit all of us volunteers really love cooking Aspargus in Aspargus Alley

First time coming here for Asparagus festival and had fun.

The flea market use to be larger on Thursday , but since they moved it to the parking lot, it's smaller and more commercialized, you don't see as many bring from home sale people anymore. The food is either Mexican or Chinese, not alot of variety. You'll find a fruit/vegetable stand on every corner, usually very good and reasonable prices. If you get there about mid- morning you'll find some vendors willing to deal or selling items for a dollar, to free items, so they can leave early. Overall a good time!

Super fun and entertaining atmosphere, friendly and kind staffing, can't wait to go back!!!!

Showed alot of animals here , wish more people would raise livestock . hard work is not for everyone

Asparagus festival was crowded not cooked all the way but the Rockford brats was fantastic & music was great

Hmong New Year Celebration at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. The staff welcomed us with greatness and also blessed great words for the hmong community in the San Joaquin County. We are very greatful to have wonderful people here. We had a lot of vendors with food, drinks, traditional clothing, jewelry and accessories. There was music and entertainment. Sports and many many other festivities. Thank You

The fair was lots of fun. The Torres band made it even better. Great music. All the kids had fun too.

It was a swap meet and car show. There was a decent amount of cars and parts to swap but we did show up a little late so the earlier the better I think. Plenty of parking, and it was free. 8 bucks to get in, not expensive so that's good too

Love going to the flea market on walks. Lots of stuff to buy includinf fruit and veggies.

Every year that's where we go for the Lowrider show

Great place! Clean facilities and super helpful and friendly staff.

Shady employees and a negative environment on some days

Very nice web site - easy to follow. Concert site is a fun grassy area surrounded by huge shade trees.

Awesome time, not too hot either. April was the perfect time to have it.

Great place for family get together for car shows swap meet asparagus festival and the Fair

I been to the fair grounds numbers of times with Alan Short I got some friends working there one of them is Leslie she is my Friend forever the other is Sonya she is also my Friend forever I got other friends who go to school on the fair grounds as well I can't forget my Good buddy toi she is my Friend forever as well

IT WAS FINE !, I JUST HAPPENED TO BE DRIVING BY WITH MY BROTHER . IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY . SO WE WENT TO SEE WHAT WAS THE DEAL ?, IT WAS NICE . JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF PEOPLE . I WILL GO BACK IT'S OPEN ON MONDAY - THURSDAY N FRIDAY .

Nice place to go different go on here races at the horse track also

I took the kids to the county fair and we bought bracelets so we could get on all of the rides and you better believe it we rode EVERYTHING a few times. Had a blast and do know what I am going to do to top it yet.

Lots of parking, Asparagus Festival is always a great experience

The flea market is ok but the sparagus festival is held here now. I noticed way more ghetto people, which was not nice. I did not feel safe to be honest. The parking is $6 for the festival which looks more like the fair.

went there to sell in a booth and it was dead. There was only like 100 people a day at the fair ... please look into more bout promoting the fair more thank u

The experience varies. While events like the asparagus festival is very fun, the San Joaquin county fair itself is very bad. The staff of the fair are lazy, provided by the fact that it s supposed to open at 10 on June 15th, I m writing this review at 10:30 June 15th with no staff member in sight. In addition to that at about 10:15 two people in street clothes left the fair grounds with ICE CREAM. So, I would recommend the asparagus festival, do not recommend the San Joaquin county fair.

Love the Food, and very friendly staff. We bring family, and friends here to eat when visiting from out of town
