San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Review

Just returned to Portland after a week in San Diego. We stayed at a Marriot downtown so we could walk to several sites and take the bus to Balboa Park.
Every day we were approached by homeless people. Not once or twice, but several times daily. If I wanted to deal with the homeless I could have stayed in Portland.
I was also disappointed at the cost of everything from the zoo to the museums at Balboa Park.
Originally, we had thought of bringing our grandchildren back with us this summer, but that is out of the question now.
Very disappointed.

I love being a part of the chamber of commerce and meeting like minded people

The taxis San Diego airport are abusive, I have a bad experience with them, I do not use them again

SDRCC hosts excellent speakers and events. The IHLU Committee is my favorite part about being in the chamber.

Fist rate organization, very service oriented, proactive in elivating local, regional and foreign biz. A must support system for those wanting to do biz in San Diego!

Stopped in to visit the Chamber on a Friday afternoon when we're in town visiting. You can tell a lot about a city by visiting a Chamber and we were super impressed with Lorraine (Office Manager) who took ample time to answer questions about the city, direct us to various places and just generally visit. As a chamber executive in another state, I hope my staff would be as friendly and welcoming as she was.

Hear future Mayor Weiner will get together with Mayor Filner they can get together and Filner will show patdowns and feelups and Mayor Weiner will show you his weiner. 2 Perverts to entertain all who visit San Diego

Wyndham Harbor Lights San Diego screwed us out of our planned vacation last minute with no chance of recovering our planned time. We made reservations 6 months in advance including dinner reservations and when we showed up to check in we were told we would need to sit through a time share sales presentation however we were never warned about this, never told this was a time share hotel and never given a choice of weather we wanted to listen to someone talk about selling us a time share. We were there on vacation with no warning that we would be hit with a sales pitch, we had dinner reservations and other plans so we declined to sit through a sales scam pitch and next thing we knew we were sent to another hotel. Wyndham dumped on us and didn t seem to really care. Wyndham ruined our vacation and seemed to take pleasure in it because we wouldn t be taken for a sales ride that we were not warned about.
