Took the beginner class. Def make sure I bring hand/elbow/knee guards. Instructor was super nice and music was good too. For sure going back.

Such an awesome venue for all ages. My kids have attended the lil rollers and love it. We ve also attended a party there which was super fun. It seems totally safe during Covid and is a great outdoor activity.

This place was off the chain. Great music, friendly people, and a well put together outdoors skating rink. Definitely will be back.

I think this business is operating outside its comfort zone, it's beautiful they're attempting to meet a need for a community. But I just had strange vibes and the music was kinda off-putting, despite driving from OC I left early... they weren't reading their audience with the music and that was disappointing.

You can tell the regulars were enjoying themselves, so there's that. I wouldn't return because the distance wasn't worth it but if I was closer, I'd give it a second chance.

The music was bumpin' and everyone there is as nice as can be! Love coming to this sweet place!

Great place for skaters of all levels! There are classes for beginners and jam lessons for advance skaters. The open skate sessions are a blast! The earlier sessions have games for kids and there are evening sessions for adults only. If you're new to skating or looking for another rink to hit up, then there's something for you at Derby United!

Super fun. Good low-risk activity during covid. All the kids said they loved it.

Be careful with the african american security guard of this place who likes to take pictures of the people who is waiting outside (street) he has a f150 truck, you never know how he can use our pictures and info.

Did you know that they have a MENS roller derby team. If you are anyone who doesn't consider yourself female then check out the San Diego Aftershocks who play in the Men's Roller Derby Association. The MRDA is the only non-discriminatory roller derby association.

Took my first class today! The instructor was very clear and helpful. I also stayed for 80's night :) I had so much fun!

We took the adult jam lesson and it was a lot of fun. We got a lot of help in our moves and our teacher Emily was great. We came down from long beach and it was worth it!

Staff are great and very helpful! Helped me and my girlfriend fix our skates before starting the class and gave us tips on how to take care of them. Everyone who comes to the classes are also very friendly people. No judgment zone for sure. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone at all levels of skating.
