Just bought a brand new house and called to set up my account they said they didn't have a letter in yet from the builder but the water will still be on until they receive the letter. That was Friday, today is Monday and I come home to no water and it's shut off I tried calling and they are already closed. The women who answered the emergency water line said "sorry call back tomorrow that's a customer service issue not my problem." Are you kidding me?! No water and no warning just a drive by turn off the water no note on the door nothing!
Currently stuck with a $468 water bill for one person for February service due to the ice storm. So far no luck getting assistance after two chat sessions. Now waiting on an email response. I wish SAWS placed more value on their customers.
I have never said anything bad about saws water. But this upsets me. I have called twice to get someone to come out to check the knob that closes the water. It seems like its stuck and I dont want to break it. Should I go to the news or should I call a lawyer. I am wasting water and saws do not respond to my calls. I probably will have to paid someone to help me with this issue. San Antonio Water has failed. 1.7 reviews sums it up for the service they provide. Thank you for nothing!!!
Tragically poor management whose primary purpose is to prepare for contingencies...citizens work and pay for this service especially during turbulent times, otherwise, why stay in San Antonio when other cities do better for their people. People need to be reimbursed...SAWS broke faith with residents and this storm proved gross leadership issues that were going on for too long.
saws are good but in my subdivision one house have issued water comes in his home like a flood finally saws realized her mistake is our fault and they fix it forever which is good so please keep it saws
Today 2-17-21 we do not have water for two days and was unable to speak with anyone with SAWS, all we got was a recorded message that basically said SAWS does not have an answer. It seems the consumers of SAWS keep getting the same i.e no definitive explanation. All the utilities companies knew about the weather at lest one week prior to the winter storm. Good luck to all SAWS consumers. We are on their mercy. We must remember to pay the bills even though we have not received water or service. Best regards.
After the terrible winter storm and so many homes with busted pipes I needed help to turn off my water at the street just so I could replace a drippy faucet. I felt bad even asking SAWS to come out as there were so many problems much bigger than mine all over the city. They were super kind and helpful over the phone and someone came over the next day and got my rusted water valve off for me. I also love their water conservation info on the website. They offer lots of incentives to conserve water and share many great ideas for ways to design your yard to look great and save water.
Carlos answered my call on the second ring and took care of my issue promptly and professionally. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant to speak with--all in all, a model of good customer service! (My cable company could definitely stand to take a few pointers from Carlos and the San Antonio Water System!)
I am unable to log in via the website to make payments. I tried resting my password and it s impossible. I called customer service and they had no clue how to fix the issue. I was promised a call back. This was over a month ago. Paying over the phone is a pain.
Drove all the way to the main office to try and settle a discrepancy on my account only to be told that they closed there customer service over a year ago. They don't work much so I don't understand why they don't bother to at least update there website to reflect such important information. Common SAWS we're paying you a lot of money so at least 1 thing right and quit wasting people's time and money
