These is a work place for those who want to work hard and earn money i am recently working and its a good pie company and chilled work place its not for those who can't handel chilled environment so please be aware if anyone wants to work need proper clothing for the chilled environment.

Worked here for 3 months in production and packing area through Ala carte recruitment agency. Best department to work is packing and despatch. Specialised in making pork pies.

These have helped our charity out so much with donations of food they deserve more recognition.

About working on this site is very exhausted,you have toilet limit time,the food is in very clean position,about some supervisor "they don't appreciate your work"

My working experience at Charnwood bakery was terrible.
For instance the supervisors were not helpful at all,lack of communication skills and heavily unorganised.Following on,i was never given an induction,no health and safety procedures and NO COVID RELATED MEASURES.

Make sure to park in the road and walk to security to book in.
They seem to take as long as they want when unloading, but they're polite enough.
Pretty sparse on the facility side for delivery drivers.

Can be slow to unload handy enough to get in and out of.

Worked as a Engineering team leader, wages were wrong every week, wrong hourly rate than as per contract. Poor communication, left due to this as it went on for over 4 weeks. Final wage still not right even though I have left over a month ago, contacted walker and son every week with nothing coming back.
Would I recommend this company No!

I have deliverd goods to samworth walkers a few times and it is absolutely ATROCIOUS. Waiting to be tipped is frequently 3 hours and above with no explanation or information. I have even been told oops sorry we forgot about you. What a way to run a business
