Bartender was not attentive,, barback was very cool and friendly

waited a long time to be seated. finally sat ourselves. food was good. when you want napkins or condiments you have to hunt down staff and ask several times.

I have been to pretty much every bar/restaurant and business in the whole entire Old Town District, and this has always been a place thats been talked about with pretty much everyone or anyone that's looking for a good or time to remember with friends/family. The food is great and the drinks are wonderful as expected. I haven't really ever heard anything that was negative or bad about this place other than a few people complain about the typical things but honestly that just expected with a big business such as this and it also being very very busy during the night time and even busier during the weekend nights... But I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone that's looking for a time to remember or just a good night out. 4 stars!!!

The food is usually pretty good, but the service just misses every time!

Just straight up shittt service. Why does it take 15 minutes to give someone a menu? I knew what I wanted when I entered the door but we just left because it seemed that it was so slow they could care less for any business. It was my friends birthday too. Very disappointing.

Really good street tacos, with about 7 choices. Had a good experience sitting outdoors, although it would have been 5 stars if the music wasn't so blasted loud.

Great drinks! And I never really get past that. The Angel Water is delish.

Very disappointed in the service! Arrived Friday night around 8:30 PM, and it was not busy... but took over 30 min to get our first round of drink ORDERS placed and another >15 min to get the drinks. The server was rude and not apologetic for being slow for no reason. Will not come back as the food was not that great either.

Love their enchiladas!! Go on a Tuesday night. Not only is it taco Tuesday with great tacos but they raffle off a free bike (cruiser) and have a DJ. Don't forget to get a refreshing margarita.

Delicious food and great service! Chicken tinga nachos and elote were incredible!

Had an excellent experience! The food was amazing and the service was even better! Kenzie took the best care of us and was always so attentive and kind. She recommended a skinny mermaid margarita, and it was one of the best I ve ever had! Would highly recommend!

Great Tex Mex food place that also has a great selection of beer on draft and the open concept was cozy and comfortable

Parking on a Wednesday night was not a problem but could be on Friday or Saturday. The guacamole is excellent as are the margaritas, we had the regular ones. Carne asada was good but my wife's steak iron skillet fajita boasted plenty of beef that was chewy and over done. The sides served with it were okay except for the rice which was hard. The restaurant is very casual and noisey both inside and outside.

Drew, as a server is fantastic! Kept us hydrated and smiling after celebrating three birthdays on a beer bike! Kudos to him and the whole Saturday staff!!

First time here! Chips and salsa were fresh and irresistible, entrees were delicious and special. Some things are a bit pricey (my beef was a bit undercooked as well) but definitely a treat. Outdoor seating is the best, and also have to note there aren't any issues with bees (super afraid of them). The little finches will eat your rice if you feed them, they're so cute haha. Lastly, Lauren N was a wonderful waitress, really attentive! The other staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Great place to try!

Fantastic tacos! Great atmosphere and a lively crowd. Alfresco seating on the patio, or sit inside. I'll definitely be back for the food, even though the service the night I was there was a little off (slow).

Non relaxing patio due to douche restaurant "rnr" across the street. Foods ok.

The 4 stars are for the food !! Very good food! The service?? Questionable, asked if we received our second drink, we joked about it, the server came back with "You sound like an alcoholic"... Not a polite thing to say to a customer. Overall service was a little slow, didnt think it was their busiest time. Not sure on that

Friendly staff. Food was good, but more Tex Mex than true Mexican. The drinks were great. I did a margarita flight, which was fun, and the margs were delicious. Fun outdoor space.

The best tacos for your money in Scottsdale hands down, chips and salsa are also very good and they make a pretty good Margarita too!

Great Mexican restaurant with seating indoors or outside. I had the three tacos .each a different kind ..delicious! Margaritas and other drinks are excellent. Full service bar, friendly and efficient service. Chips were served with one of the best tasting salsas I have had. My husband is not fond of Mexican food and ordered a burger and fries. He said they were good and we're planning to go back.

Service was not great. It took them way too long to get our order, refill drinks, get the bill, etc. Our server disappeared for extended periods of time. Probably not going there again; there are many better choices in Scottsdale.

So, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for decent service. Maybe it was because I wasn't a 20 something looking for a hook up (instead just a lone 40 something guy on business travel sitting at the bar)? No matter the reason the service was lacking and the food not too much better than the service. The guac was good but nothing to rave about. I had the beef fajita bowl and it was ok but I'll say that a bowl from Chipotle would best it. I was told to have the tacos by a friend so maybe they would've been better. It'll be a tough sell for me to give it a second chance to find out if the tacos are better.

We were in Old Town Scottsdale and most places were pretty busy due to the World Series. We gave them a try mainly because they were not too busy and had a patio. Once we were seated by the hostess, our server finally came over after about 5 or so minutes (she mentioned the hostess giving here incorrect description on where the table was). We ordered drinks and water, and it took about 10 minutes to get the water, which was brought by the hostess. She apologized and said they didn't have enough servers to cover, but I was unclear if this was normal or if they were short due to someone not coming in. Either way, they were not THAT busy IMO. After 20 minutes, we still had no drinks. When she finally brought them she said the bar was "backed up". I could see the bar clearly from where we sat, and I've watched bartenders that were slammed; he did not look that busy to me.

We also ordered food, and although my wife's order came out wrong, and we had to flag someone down to fix it. Once we did, they got her a new plate out extremely quickly. The manager did come over and talk to us without us complaining or asking for him, so that was really good and proactive on his part.

One thing I did notice though, their outside seating was covered in a fine layer of grit and sand. Not unexpected for Phoenix when the wind is going, however they seem to keep plates, silverware and napkins at the outside tables at all times. They were not exactly clean either; if I were them I'd have at least stored them upside down, or better yet brought them out as needed.

I do have to say, their food was quite good. I enjoyed both the specialty margarita and the wine what we ordered as well. So to give a synopsis, the good was great but the service was sub-par. I do not know if this was normal or not, so I would give them another chance.

Best nachos have had in months. Kyra our bartender was great. Next time in town will stop back

Don't do it, better Mexican all around here. Watery Margaritas, no tang or citrus flavour. Servers more interested in talking to their visiting groups of friends than serving customers.

Took 20 mins to get our bill. Then another 10 after that...our waitress was too busy getting a piggy back ride.

The reasons it gets 3 stars and not 1 is that the queso and guacamole were really good and the waitress was nice. Fajitas and tacos were just okay. Everything seemed dried out, especially the rice. The worst of it for us was that it is not family friendly and they are weirdly obvious about it. Came in with two adults, three teenagers, and a 6 year old and we were seated immediately outside the bathroom. It was really strange because it was a dead Monday dinner crowd and there were at least two tables that were the same size in plain view that were not smack in front of the bathroom. The table wasn t even in our waitress s area. I guess don t go there for dinner with the family.

Great, sat out on the patio, very comfortable with the heater. Food and drinks were very good. Kate the server was excellent.
Only disappointment was no more happy hour since spring training began.

We vacation in Phoenix/Scottsdale area, always make our lunch stop at Salty Senorita. we will be there this Friday, for lunch and the awesome margaritas!

Krystelle was a great server! I was in town for a convention and she made our visit here great one! You must try the fried cheesecake chimichangas

Great happy hour! $2 tacos and awesome fajitas! Chips and salsa are good enough to take home with you.
