Purchased a gift card online as a Christmas gift for a friend. Super easy checkout system and the card arrived in the mail in a few days.

I walked in and was greeted and asked what I needed help with. John helped me. He videotaped me while running on the treadmill and we discussed how I run. He showed me and explained that my right foot pronates while I run. He asked me about my current running shoes and brought out 7-8 pairs of shoes for me to try. He gave me information on each pair of shoe and was very knowledgeable. He listened to my thoughts and feelings and helped me find a great pair of shoes! Thank you!

Through word of mouth I had heard Altra shoes were designed specifically to address pronation. Salt Lake Running Company had the Altra shoes and I was very happy to have more than one choice of Altra shoes to try on. Thanks for carrying Altra shoes!!! I've noticed a big improvement on my annoying pronation problems.

I had a great experience at Salt Lake Running Company. The customer service was superior. The lady helped me fit 4 different brand of shoes and I was able to walk out with a very nice looking and comfortable pair of running shoes that was right for "me". The experience at SLRC was great. I desperately needed new running shoes and they filmed and showed me my running gait. With that, they were able to tell me what shoes would be best for me. With trying on a lot of shoes and testing each of them, I was able to find the one that was best for me. The sales reps were very knowledgeable in all the shoes and answered all of my questions. Jeff was my sales rep and I walked away feeling very confident in my shoes.

All super personable and knowledgeable employees. Helped me find my first pair of trail running shoes and could not be happier. They even let my dog come in and roam the store while I tried a couple shoes on. Wish there were more places like this

This is the best store to come to if your looking for good high quality service. They do everything they can to find you the best pair of shoes for your feet. They take a video of you running on there treadmill and show you how you run. They don t stop until you get a shoe that fits your feet perfect. Knowledgeable staff to help you find the best running shoes. Highly recommend if you have the budget- is pricey. However, I m happy to pay for the sake of my feet, knees, and hips!

Patrick helped me find the perfect shoes and insult to help with my foot and knee problems. He was so patient and helpful and it didn t take long at all. Plus the store was really conscious towards social distancing, which I really appreciated! I would definitely go back in the future, these guys are trustworthy.

Very knowledgeable staff. I recently had knee surgery so my run is completely different than it has ever been. I was able to get a very good pair of shoes that fit my running gait with insoles that are amazing! My knee has never felt better running. Having the right pair of shoes is crucial for a return-to-run recovery.

SLRC has always given us great service & great Products

Typically, i am a big fan of Zappos, where I can buy everything from flip flops to snow boots. The exception to this is when I am shopping for athletic gear. I buy all my running/slogging/walking shoes at the Salt Lake Running Company because they have great selection and knowledgeable staff to help you get the right fit for your activity. I even take my young son there for his day to day shoes because he has foot and knee pain. Since having SLR Co help us with his footwear, he has fewer missed activities and has less discomfort.

This was my first visit to the store and I thought the customer service was excellent. I'm not a discerning runner but was able to find a pair of shoes with good fit and aesthetics on the first go.

Very helpful staff! Love the run stride test that they do to help you decide what is the best shoe for your running style. Great exchange policy, can test the shoes and if they aren't the right match, you have 2 weeks to exchange.

They served me just after I got in the store around 5:30 pm on a Friday. The store was very busy but Brook took the time to find me the size I needed and help pick out some wool socks, low cut. I was out in about 20 min. Great service.

As an injury prone retired college athlete, I decided that if I wanted to get serious about running again I'd need the proper equipment. Went Salt Lake Running Company to get some shoes and inserts, and the staff was very helpful! I explained my situation, and the employee I was working with (I believe Sadie was her name) was able to get me exactly what I needed. I've gone on two runs so far and haven't felt any pain at all! Overall, I had a great experience working with SLRC. Friendly folks that know what they're talking about.

I would rate my experience as a 4 and 1/2. Everyone was really friendly and they practiced social distancing. The lady that helped me was helping someone else at the same time and I felt like I would have gotten better service if I had waited for another salesman. My sales lady was knowledgeable and courteous, but it's hard to focus on two people at once. I felt that she got me shoes that were half a size too large. With my thick socks that was okay but with thinner socks the shoes are slightly too large. I will buy other shoes there but I will pay more attention to the shoes I am getting. This was my first visit and part of the fault was mine.

The staff there were super helpful and quickly helped me find what I was looking for. When they were out of something I wanted they not only called their other location but other stores to see if they had it available. I really appreciated that above-and-beyond customer service experience!

I was unsure what to think about going and buying shoes at a specialty store like the running company seeing as though ive always just bought cheap payless and walmart shoes. But now having problems with my feet and told by a doctor that i needed better shoes with better support, i broke down and went the salt lake running company. I had ABSOLUTLY no idea what i needed or what was available to me. Patrick was the sales man that helped me and im ecstatic! He understood what i was going through and gave me the knowledge i needed and showed me numerous options. He was so patient and spent a lot of time helping me to make sure i felt good about my purchase! It was a great experience and I'll make sure to be back and tell everyone that's the best place to go!

Wore my shoes the same day I got them and they are very comfortable. Like the toe room and the cushiony support under foot.

Transaction was perfect. Better than perfect, actually, as I found out the price of the shoes was actually lower than what was listed on the website, so SLRC actually refunded the difference. I wasn't expecting that, and probably wouldn't have ever know. Integrity lives. Shipping was very fast. This was my second purchase after another very good in-store experience last time. They are obviously doing things right to build a loyal customer base.

First time visiting this store. First impression was that it s HUGE! Much larger than the local running store in Florida that I always went to.

Was very impressed with the selection of shoes. So many options. Entry level all the way up to the top of the line options. Road and trail options as well.

Gear and apparel were outstanding as well.

Nutrition and hydration options were copious as well. Certainly set up to be a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to run, walk, hike, or get out and adventure in general.

Employees were knowledgeable and courteous without pushing any particular product (I knew what I wanted prior to arriving).

While I didn t take advantage of it, they have a couple treadmills in there for gait analysis, which could be helpful for some.

This was my first time here and I am very impressed. Julie met me at the door and helped me through the process of buying my first real running shoes. She analyzed how I walk and showed me the best shoes and inserts for my feet. Even though I am from out of town and only get to come to Salt Lake every few months, SLRC is now my go-to running store.

SLRC is always helpful when I come in. If they need to order something for me they always follow through.

Went here to get some advice on shoes to help
me with pronation. Lucky for me I was able to work with Cade who took time to explain what could help and took his time recommending several shoes. I could have tried on every shoe in the place and he would have taken the time to walk me through every pair. He wasn t in a rush, and it made me feel like I could take the time to choose the right shoe. These guys are awesome and I love spending my bucks to support a truly local business. Left with two pair and I ll be back!

We have been going to Salt Lake Running Co. for about 8 years now and they only get better! We enjoying participating or volunteering in races throughout the year, attending their running club and always hit the store when we need new shoes. They do an excellent job of helping us examine our cadence and stride to pick the best shoes for our feet and body. I don t think we ll ever need to go anywhere else!

Was in the store a couple years ago, the service was very helpful and the sales persons product knowledge was top notch. I just ordered online a pair to replace one of the two pairs I got a couple years ago and it was painless. I had a voucher and the process to redeem this for online shopping was user friendly.

Went in and all my questions were answered ! Had to go pick up my friend from the airport and brought her back !

As a beginner in this running thing it s nice to have a place that has a staff full of knowledge. They had me run on a treadmill and took a video so I could see how I was Landing and got me the right inserts to help with the pains I had.
