Had a great experience! First time ever buying specific running shoes and the help and guidance that was provided was incredibly helpful. Phil helped me through the process and was so knowledgeable. Described the benefits of various shoes and how that would help with the way I run and guided me on picking the pair I did as well as some insoles. My only issue and regret was as I checked out I didn t get to thank him because he was already hard at work helping another customer. Will definitely be back for any needs I have!

The best thing about this store, (along with all of their locations) is that they are honest. They even talked me out of wasting money on something that wasn't what I needed. I've talked to the guys about trails to run when I first moved as well, very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely one of the better running stores out there.

I was helped by Courtney to find the perfect pair of shoes today. She was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with me and I found that we also shared a connection to my hometown through a very friendly conversation. I loved my buying experience, and absolutely love my new shoes!

Went in to get a new pair of trail shoes, they didn't have my size. The sales woman looks in their system and tells me that they have a pair at another store that they can mail directly to my house and they'll be there in a couple days. I pay in full and setup the delivery. A few days later I get an email and they won't be able to get me the shoes for 5 MONTHS! Now, back to spending more time trying to find new shoes...

Went here today to grab a new pair of running shoes and couldn't be happier. Austin helped me out and was very patient and knowledgeable and got me in a great pair of shoes. I already knew what style shoe I needed from past experience but if you don't know they will let you hop on a treadmill and analyze your stride. Highly recommend this shop!

Do your research on shoes before going in (google!) I asked for a 12-10mm drop and had two different employees try and put me in shoes with 4mm drop. Both employees swore what they had given me were at least 10mm drops. One shoe was an 8mm and all others were 4mm. If you ve experienced muscle problems from low/no drop shoes, or are new, read up on the shoes first. Good selection of gear and friendly staff.

SL running company is legit. My knees were hurting while running so they watched me run on a treadmill and recommended a certain type of shoe. It made a world of difference in my running.

The staff were very helpful and patient as I tried on multiple pairs of shoes. I was able to take a test run on the treadmill, which is better than jogging around the aisles of other sporting goods stores where I also buy shoes. No discount footwear here, but the added price is well worth the service (and exchange policy)

Went in to try on some running shoes and the employee was extremely helpful while not being pushy at all. Left store with a TON more knowledge then when I walked in with and didn't decide on a specific pair on shoes yet. Employee was still very nice and looked forward to helping me make any final decisions in the future. (I can't remember the name of who helped me but he was tall with curly shot hair and had an accent...he was AMAZING)

Cody helped me find the perfect shoe for my needs and spent so much time with me. He videotaped my run and analyzed my biomechanics in order to find the right shoe. Walked in today looking for shoes and Ryan helped me find the right pair. He was incredibly knowledgable about the shoes and which ones would fit me best. He gave me 5 or 6 different choices and I ended up leaving with a brand I've never worn before. Thanks to Ryan and Salt Lake Running for helping me find the shoes for me. Ryan deserves many praise.

I got the best expirience at Salt Lake Running. They answer all of my question and concerns about purchasing my pair of running shoes.

I have been looking for a shoe (Altra instinct 1.5) all over and nobody has them in my size! I called SLC run co and they didn't have them. then about 5 minutes later they called me back and said they found a pair in back! I didn't leave my number they took the chance and called me back. They could have easily sold the shoes to somebody and i wouldn't have ever known. They held them for me and i am a happy runner. Amazing customer service!

Really great service. Might be a pipe dream to expect, but I'd sure like to see more selection in the larger sizes. Other than that I had a great experience.

I've been here a few times and have always had a really good experience. I'm not what most people conjure in their minds when they think of a runner (i.e. I'm fat and have tiny little legs), and the folks here have always been very nice and helpful, answered my questions, and been overall very friendly and welcoming. I was thinking about signing up for a race they were putting on, and when I asked about whether there was a time limit, the guy behind the counter told me they didn't and that they'd be happy to have me and that he hoped I would sign up.

My only complaint is that I wish they carried plus-size running gear, but that's the case pretty much everywhere. Everything I've purchased there has been great quality and they make exchanges really easy as well.

I went to look insoles for my shoes and the guy(Eli) that helped me, was very nice and listened. Base on my experience on the costumer service I'll recommend this place and definitely will visit again.

Friendly staff, nice big and roomy store with dressing rooms to try out running clothes. If there was only one thing I would suggest, it would be to add more variety of running fuels (I bought tailwind but didn't see too many choices for fuel like gu brew or clif shots and gels), and gear (they were out of Salt Lake Running men's shirts but had a nice trucker cap). All in all still a great local running store!

I needed neutral shoes with good arch support and cushioning. He had an immediate suggestion. As a matter of fact, he was wearing them! They felt great and I was reassured since he uses them for very long distance running.

The staff greets you right when you walk in and help you find whatever you need - and they re happy to help even if you don t know what you want and are really new to running!

SLRC was so helpful with choosing the correct running shoes for my feet and pronation! Phil was excellent! My only complaint was the lack of selection for running shorts. Most of them were very low rise and very short, for people who prefer more coverage this can be a bit of a problem. The sports bras are great too, but I am happiest with the shoes!!
