How there are anything less than 5 stars in these reviews blows my mind. We had a WONDERFUL experience during a recent company team building event. The staff was amazing and the environment was great. What a fun day and can't wait to get back with my wife for a date night so I can show her my skills!

Our office rewarded us with a group cooking class. We had a group of 19 people and it was really cool to learn from a executive chef to cook a meal start to finish.
Accommodating, informative, friendly, & knowledgeable sous chefs helped us through the whole process.
Clean workspace, fresh food, educational but fun experience. Hoping to go back and take another course!

My team at work went there as a team building activity. When we were about to begin cooking one of the employees said to me You re outnumbered . I m guessing the comment was stated because I was the only black person in the room. There was nothing else that differentiated me from everyone else. I was immediately uncomfortable and felt as though I was not wanted there. I would not revisit this establishment.

I have been to classes and events at SLCC. The instructors and owners are all enthusiastic and very nice. Everyone is excited to share their knowledge. Class sized are great. There is time for individual attention. All the food has been wonderful in class and at events. You go home with the recipes from the classes. I have always enjoyed myself and learned something or lots of things.

Salt Lake Culinary Center is such a fun and unique experience. I was able to go to a birthday party where we were split into groups and each group made a bruschetta and we voted for the best one. It was such a great time!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I have scheduled a class 2 months in advanced and it got cancelled a week before. My husband purchased a gift certificate for me and since we are moving out of the country and won't be able to use I have asked to return it and the owner of the place, Rich, have told me that he is not willing to return it and the conversation is over. Also, Christina the assistant is the worst! Just horrible customer service front to end. Avoid going there.

I had the privilege of working with SL Culinary Center as a bartender for one of their events. I was impressed with how organized the event was. They are really doing it right. The staff was relaxed and so hospitable towards guests and other vendors. It is a great team to work with. The event planner was absolutely incredible.

The food was delicious. I've worked with EVERY SINGLE catering company in Salt Lake and the food that they made here was insane. They pay attention to detail and it shows with every forkful.

They take pride in their craft is refreshing. I was here for an event but they offer a ton of classes and with their state of the art kitchens I bet they are amazing.

If an establishment is great to work for/with it is an even better place to go and enjoy your evening.

I enrolled my son in the summer camp program. He was so excited. We thought they would teach him how to cook and they would eat the meals. The first day he came home and said he didn t want to go back because they were cooking outside and the meal wasn t even great. He said the teacher was so disorganized and he didn t learn anything new. We re very disappointed and I feel like i wasted my $300. I was expecting him to have an experience with the chef in front teaching the kids the way to cook in a kitchen, not boiling eggs outside on a fire. Think twice before you enroll your kids! Not worth it!

I had such a great time at the Thanksgiving 101 class, Diane, the Culinary director was really friendly also Chef James gave us such great cooking tips. The facilities are so nice, and the food and ingredients to cook are high quality. It is a bit pricey, but is totally worth it. No doubt it is the best option to learn more cooking hacks and try new recipes.

Terrific place ! I dropped in to see what the business was about and ended up helping with judging a guacamole contest.

I was greeted and welcomed by so many nice staff that I could not refuse the offer to join them. They create a warm inviting culture , with an obvious passion for what they do.

Not to mention some killer guac.

I took the Pie Making class and it was one of the best nights I've had in a very long time. Not only was the instructor amazing, but the entire staff were there to help with everything. My family couldn't believe I had made the pies myself! This will definitely become a Thanksgiving Eve tradition.
