I take someone to get food every other Thurs here and I have to say they have some of the nicest people! It is really hard for some people to ask for help and I have never felt like they were judging her or making her uncomfortable. Great people thank for all you do.

I've been there a few times to make donations. They're doing good work and are far more helpful than some of the useless government programs.
If you have something to donate, give it to the Mission. All donations are passed on to help people in need.
The staff there is always friendly and they sincerely appreciate whatever you can donate.

Salt Lake City Mission: Providing Hope and Help to Those in Need

The Salt Lake City Mission is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1993. The mission's primary goal is to provide hope and help to those who are struggling with hunger, homelessness, addiction, and poverty. The mission operates on the belief that everyone deserves a chance at a better life, regardless of their circumstances.

The Salt Lake City Mission offers a wide range of services to those in need. These services include food assistance through their food pantry program, shelter for homeless individuals and families through their emergency shelter program, addiction recovery programs through their New Life Program, job training and placement assistance through their employment program, as well as various other support services.

One of the most significant challenges facing many people today is hunger. The Salt Lake City Mission recognizes this challenge and has taken steps to address it by providing food assistance through its food pantry program. The food pantry is open three days a week (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) from 11 am-2 pm. This service provides much-needed relief for individuals and families who struggle with putting enough food on the table.

Another critical issue facing many people today is homelessness. The Salt Lake City Mission provides emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families through its emergency shelter program. This service offers temporary housing for those who have nowhere else to turn.

In addition to addressing immediate needs such as hunger and homelessness, the Salt Lake City Mission also offers long-term solutions such as addiction recovery programs through its New Life Program. This program helps individuals overcome addiction by providing them with counseling, support groups, job training opportunities, education classes on life skills like budgeting or cooking healthy meals at home - all designed specifically for each person's unique needs.

The employment program offered by the mission helps people find jobs that match their skills while also providing them with training opportunities so they can improve upon these skills over time if needed or desired! This service helps break down barriers between employers looking for qualified candidates & potential employees seeking work opportunities!

At the heart of everything they do lies an unwavering commitment to helping others in need - no matter what challenges they may be facing! They believe that everyone deserves access not only basic necessities like food & shelter but also resources necessary achieve self-sufficiency & independence!
