Salon Vox, Inc. Review

A WARNING about Nedra! Her lights are on but she was absolutely deaf, dumb and blind to my requests. Nedra paid no attention to the picture I showed her of her last job on me or what I verbally told her I wanted. She did what she wanted to my hair without telling me. She did not ask, "How is this?" She did not tell me that she was leaving my side hair long and my back hair short. My hair has not been this short since the 1980's Princess Di haircut was in. I am absolutely distraught about her sheer unprofessionalism and disdain for a client. Now I have a haircut/color job that:
- I can't manage and style;
- I can't put in a ponytail because she layered and cut it too short;
- I have to grow out because she gave me layers;
- I have bangs that look like a 1920's 4 year old boy's haircut; I know! I have a picture of my Dad that looks like the bowl cut she gave me;
- I had to buy a baseball hat to hide my bad bang job and too dark a hair color job for Super Bowl Party;
- I must pay someone else to do another color.
I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and spent my last extra money to have my hair done nicely. The last thing Nedra did was to whisper in my ear after my second visit to her to fix the haircolor which she still left too dark. She whispered, "You are lucky. I am only charging you This amount of money when I normally charge This amount of money . Regrettably, I will not be forgetting Nedra any time soon. I have a constant reminder.

I have been coming here since they were in their previous location in Santa Monica -- over ten years? Carmine is the best -- great with color, amazing with cuts, and a total doll. Everyone there is friendly and the prices are quite reasonable for the top-quality work.

It's all good.

I'm in love with Tara and her undying quest to give me the perfect cut. She makes me the happiest hipster on the block.

I love all of the girls at the salon but best of all is Carmine she is so good everytime I get my highlights done i feel like a million bucks i'm ready to go out and have a great day or night thank's Vox salon and especially Carmine

Excellent! After I had some bad hair experiences, a friend recommended Nedra and raved about how great she is so I made an appointment for color and went in, looking like a hot mess (minus the hot). She took her time consulting with me, explained the cost up front, told me what she was doing every step of the way and stayed late to finish. I came back the next day for a cut. The cut and the color are just wonderful! My hair looks better than it has in years! And I swear Nedra is psychic. She gave me just what I wanted with cut and color even though I had trouble explaining what I wanted. The vibe in the salon is relaxed and friendly and not snooty at all. Honestly, I wish there were more stars to give.

I love Vox Salon! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Susan and Carmine run a great salon! I've been going to Nedra for over 10 years and she's never done me wrong! She's the best! I can't say enough good things about Vox!
