I LOVE this restaurant! Every time I go to Pensacola Beach now, I always stop in for some food and drinks. The bushwackers here are amazing!! I love their grilled shrimp, and honestly that s all I ve ordered because they are huge and so delicious with the best flavor and butter dipping sauces. The fries are always crisp and hot! My service is always exceptional! I went on a Tuesday evening around 6 and the wait was 2 1/2 hours, but I went to the bar and found seats and ordered there, so I didn t have to wait. So that would be the only downfall If you didn t want to sit at the bar. But in my opinion, definitely worth the wait for the quality and quantity of the food! They have a bar upstairs that is inside and a bar downstairs that is open to outside. I ve only been to the bar upstairs. All I know is that I will be back!

Although you typically have to wait for a table, it is totally worth it. Everything on the menu is excellent and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Service is great and they are gracious about correcting an order that comes out incorrect. If you love oysters and fresh seafood, this is a great place to go.

Ate lunch at Pete's today and it was fresh and tasty as always! We had to wait to be seated even though we got in line before they opened at 11:00 due to limited kitchen staff. I'm really astounded at all the beach restaurants (and fast food chains) that are being handicapped by lack of folks willing to work. Be patient, please. Great places like PLP's are struggling but still putting out food & service!

I liked the food. Always busy. No joke. Opens at 4pm and people are already lined up at 3.30. Nice and friendly service. I personally did not like the insides of the restaurant as it felt a bit stale, if that makes sense, but sitting outside seems fine. Good that they got kids playground outside on the premises.

One of the perks of staying at The Crow's Nest above the restaurant is being able to enjoy the amazing food at Peg Leg's anytime you want it. Our service and meals were both excellent! Never disappointed but be prepared for a 2 hour wait most days for a table.

We were recommended to eat here by several people. All telling us it was the freshest seafood and great restaurant. Wait time was nearly an hour at 4:30pm. There were open seats but sign near hostess stated they are short staffed. Ordered Cajun Catfish and Fried Shrimp. The Shrimp were fresh and tasty but the Catfish was old fish. It's tasted muddy and like it was frozen for a while. We live on the water so are well aware of what fresh fish taste like, this was not. Will never eat here again.

Food was delicious! Wait time was almost 2 hours at 8pm. Our waiter took our order and brought us drinks and then we didn't see him again. Someone else brought our food out and the steaks were switched on the plates. We ran out of drinks. And waited a long time for refills. Finally we asked a server that was filling up sauces at another table to find our waiter and she actually got us drinks. Our waiter returned later to bring our bill. We had steaks, fried shrimp, grouper and crab legs. It was all delicious. I'd give it 5 stars if the wait wasn't so long to get a table and the wait for drink refills.

Ousters, oysters, and more oysters! All the food was fresh; oysters raw and fried, shrimp fried and grilled. and grouper - wonderful! Service on point. Gets crowded [understandably] but there is usually space at the bar. Love this place. I miss it when I'm not there. John is a bartender par excellence!
