My husband and I came to the Salish Dec of 2017 for our baby moon. I had gotten a prenatal massage and the whole time the lady kept telling me I was too young to have a baby, and talking about babies dying. And after repeatedly telling her I couldn t be flat on my back at 8 months pregnant she said I had to for the massage.. and said she couldn t continue unless I did. After that we talked with the hotel and they had ended up sending us a gift certificate for a free night which we greatly appreciated.

So after a year we decided to give it another try and just stayed this past weekend. I called and made our reservations about a month ago and gave them the promotional code we got on our gift certificate. When we arrived we had a picture of the gift certificates and my confirmation email saying we had a free night and was booked. And they told us they wouldn t honor our gift certificate. Saying that we had probably already used it and was just trying to get another free night because we didn t have the actual paper at the time of check in (which I realize I should have grabbed I had just forgotten. But I had a picture and confirmation email)

Then they proceeded to tell us they would only let us stay there if we paid $400+ for their lowest room... the manager and director of rooms were extremely rude and kept inturupting us every time we tried to ask a question.

So after an hour of calling around trying to get a different hotel to stay in that night they randomly came back and said they decided to change their mind and use our gift certificate. Never apologized for anything they had said or done....

The rest of the weekend was fun but sucks that both times we've stayed we ve had horrible customer service by multiple people....

Went to the dining room for dinner and I couldn't be happier with the food, service, and ambiance. They use local ingredients and all the food was unique and cooked perfectly. Couldn't recommend this place more!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary with a one night stay at Salish Lodge and Spa.
The food for dinner was great. (not large helpings), but very delicious. A little pricey but, ambiance was great. We were seated at a table with window view of the falls. The service was outstanding and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous with great helpings and again great service. We had the spa treatment and enjoyed the steam room and whirlpool. We did have an issue with our gift certificate, concerning what was provided in the package. However, Andrew was gracious to help us and provided us assurance as to what was covered. Our many thanks to the staff at Salish Lodge in helping our stay to be a pleasant experience. We will be very glad to tell our friends, family and associates.

Thank You,
John and Peggy Boeckel

We ate lunch at the Attic. Had a wonderful lunchtime view out a big window looking down at the river fron on high. Had their mushroom pizza. With tax it was like $21. It was very good. My wife and i split the pizza and it was just the right amount.

There brunch is awesome. Better be hungry or take a large left over bag when you leave if you have the multiple course menu item. On the con side dinner is not good at the same main restaurant. Reservations are advised. They due have two rooms that be reserved for an extra fee for that special occasion private dining and they over look Snoqualmie Falls. Finally they have the Attic, which is a cosey restaurant above the main restaurant which if you're lucky has two tables that over look the falls. Nice a glass of wine and a cheese platter or sandwich.

We LOVE Salish Lodge! We were there on our honeymoon back in July, 2001 and we have been back there to stay and celebrate our anniversary date every year since. We never get tired of Salish Lodge!

DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! Stay far away from this lodge. The hotel is beautiful and great, but the staff is the WORSE I have ever seen. My husband won a contest for two people to fly out to Seattle and stay here for 4 days and we were told we have 2 rooms. We arrived to check in and the front desk GUARANTEED us that both rooms were covered from the contest. My husband asked multiple times because the contest company told us only one room was covered, but when we checked in they told us two. They kept telling us "yes it's covered 100% don't worry about it!" So we checked in. Two days later, my husband comes back in and the front desk stops him and says "Your 4 nights have been used. You and your family need to evacuate." We have two young children and are not from here. We flew out from Georgia. Where are they expecting us to stay? My husband explained all of this to them and told them they were guaranteed to be covered. The lady was so rude that she threatened to call the authorities on my husband unless we paid for the other nights! I have never been treated so horribly and been so discriminated against. The ONLY thing this place cares about is their $$$!!! Be careful of staying here! They will try to get every single cent out of you and will not care about their promises or guarantees at all!

This is our go-to place for taking guests from out of town. Go see the falls, then have the weekend brunch at the lodge. Yeh, it's a little pricey, but it's a nice place with good service in a great location. It is to be expected.

Salish is a beautiful lodge! My husband and I went for one night to celebrate our anniversary and it was a mystical, beautiful rainy day. The Snoqualmie falls were right outside our window. The lunch menu was mediocre, but the fruit and cheese board and the dinner menu's truffle mac n' cheese was delicious. Only 4 stars because we both thought the bed was far too firm to enjoy a good night's sleep.

We visited The Attic for a mid-day date. The food was delish, but best of all was the service. We asked to be reseated by the window to see the falls and the accommodated with no questions asked, they were so happy to reseat us. If you are into beer, try their homebrewed honey ale!

While visiting Snoqualmie Falls, we noticed the Salish Lodge and Spa. What a great place for a spa day! After browsing their website, I am dreaming of staying at the lodge, eating at the restaurant, and indulging in some of the many spa treatments they offer. Magnificent!

Had lunch at one of the two restaurants that Salish Lodge offers during my day trip to Snoqualmie Falls. While the food was really good, the price doesn't match the offerings. I would have appreciated a lower price point. I understand that it costs a lot to maintain the beautiful grounds of the hotel that features the famous falls, but they need a place with a more affordable price point to accommodate all budgets.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon and every subsequent anniversary at the Salish Lodge for the last five years. Recently they've updated some procedures, computer systems, and renovated their rooms and spa. In spite of some hiccups to be expected through that transition, we've had the best customer service and treatment yet. Every step since arrival we have been treated like valued guests. The rooms are incredible. The food is amazing at both restaurants. Their employees are friendly, warm, and dedicated to ensuring our stay is perfect. I would highly recommend this stay.

Fantastic spot and view of the raging Snoqualmie Falls. Conviently located next to great views and wonderful hiking trails. Not too far from issaquah and Renton of you love your Krispy Kreme Doughnuts like me.

Very old place, private dinning old, dirty and dark. I don't mind paying for good food but not if it is made days before and just reheated. presentation 0 stars, prices outrageous. Spa is great and room was nice .
Overall experience. This experience will stay in my mind as a place not to try again.

I had an excellent dinner at Salish Lodge. Everything was on point and delicious. We also had drinks at the Attic which was a bit loud. It was expected with the change in atmosphere between the dining room and the Attic. Everything was amazing.

Stayed here with my wife for her birthday. Started out with being told that the couples massage package we bought was actually for separate rooms, and that a true couples massage was additional money. I said that's fine, it's what we wanted in the first place. They said sorry, that room is not available. Also, there is a higher weekend rate which they charged on Friday, and automatically added another 20% tip each.
Later in the night we had a sudden leak start from the ceiling. Nothing like maintenance crew in your room at 10pm. He had to ask the upstairs guests not to use their tub. Toilet kept topping off every couple minutes, no handle on the valve to shut it off. We had to use the white noise app on our phones through the night. Sink didn't drain.
Upon checking out, more resort fees. Look, we've already decided to spend a premium. Why are you still weaseling in more petty charges and nickel and dime fees?
My wife and I wanted to splurge for a nice night for her birthday. Instead, we ended up feeling like we were swindled by used car salesmen at a cheap motel. Valet crew were great, as was Nicole in the Dining Room.

Outstanding!

Outstanding!
We will return to this special place for respite and relaxation in a beautiful setting.
Thank you for excellent service from first class staff.

We held a company meeting here. Nice meeting space for groups 20 or below. Amazing private dinner room overlooking falls! Great staff and awesome place for offsite. Team also liked rooms. Nice alternative to fighting corporate hotels near Redmond / Bellevue.

We visited Salish last week on a Monday after booking it the day before for our anniversary. We didn't know my husband would be able to get the day off but sure enough he was able to. We spent the extra $80 to get a spa level room overlooking the falls. Online it says that the spa level falls viewing rooms also have access to the spa amenities, that was not the case.
We checked in, got situated in our room and while there checked the thermostat which was off and the temperature showed to be over 75+ degrees. We didn't think anything was wrong as we were not told anything was wrong so we figured once we returned from dinner the room would be reasonable.
We went to dinner which was lovely, but uncomfortably hot and we had no idea why. The servers were all sweating like crazy and we thought maybe it was just normal for the time of year. No one had said anything about the A/C being broken. We got back to our room and after 3 hours of the A/C being on we were surprised to see that it was still 75+ degrees. We called the front desk who simply said they would send maintenance up to check and see what could be wrong/happening. The maintenance guy came up, reset the thermostat and told us that they're A/C has been down for a couple of days and they were hoping it would be fixed that night but only some rooms were getting A/C. He offered to find us a fan and came back shortly with a tiny desk fan, probably from a manager's office.
We continued to sit in the sweltering heat without any relief for 2 more hours waiting for the A/C to kick on. My husband was miserable so I went down to get some ice and asked the front desk and manager what they do in an instance like this because we were considering going home and canceling our anniversary getaway because there was no way we could sleep in a ~80-85 degree room (the thermostat only went up to 75 but it was definitely hotter). The manager said "there may be one room I can move you to and I will check to see if its cooler and let you know"....I showed my appreciation for her efforts because I understand that this was probably a freak, uncommon situation....but we never got a call and never heard back regarding the situation, even the next morning. We cracked the tiny window in the room once the sun went down and tried to get some airflow but the room was uncomfortably hot the majority of the night until the A/C came on in the early morning and the room then turned to 50 degrees.
We slept horribly.
This was our first time staying at Salish Lodge and with my work taking me to 20-30 hotels per year I am shocked that in a situation like this, a hotel of this class does not treat their guests better. I have never experienced that kind of treatment even from hotels that are not nearly as expensive.
1. Wouldn't you think they would've/should've said something during the booking the day before?
2. Shouldn't they have said something at check-in?
3. Shouldn't someone said something at dinner since guests don't know that that is not the norm?! (When I went to get ice, I overheard our server from dinner talking on the phone about the A/C being broken and how miserable even they were!)
4. Shouldn't the front desk offered or even explained the first time we called down? Instead of pretending it was just something wrong with our room thermostat?
5. I get it, they have to make money, but shouldn't they have done something to make it right or at least call us back to check in, update, or address the issue?!
This is a nice hotel, right?

Breakfast the next morning was one of the best I've ever been to and a great experience which gave them the extra star.
