We had a relaxing time over an outstanding weekend brunch in the hotel s restaurant. I need to say it was the most enjoyable food I have had so far in the Washington state (and I ve been here for two years now)! We fully indulged ourselves as vegetarians choosing the delicious pancakes as well as Eggs Benedict with Spinach Florentine. The coffee was good and my soy milk kindly warmed up as requested. It will definitely be our place for special occasions!

We come to visit often, but one of these days we will stay overnight. What a great view of the waterfalls. Just that alone earns them the respect of 5 stars. They have a nice restaurant here as well.

We had my daughter's rehearsal dinner and wedding at Salish Lodge October 10-12, 2014. The staff was very efficient, courteous and helpful. The food was fantastic and the wedding venue on the deck was very nicely set up with the event tenting over the deck and adjacent to the rooms we rented to host the wedding dinner. All of that was fantastic. I was less than impressed with the room. We had a first floor river view room with access to the patio. The room was dark, with dramatically insufficient lighting. The large tub they tout is the only way to get a shower and was difficult to climb into. Once inside, it takes a hydraulic engineer to figure out how to turn the shower on. There isn't a desk lamp for reading or conducting business which really irritated me. There were several comments amongst several of our guests to the same effect. I found that the bed was so soft that I spent 2 hours in it and then moved to the floor for two nights. While the common areas and staff were superb, the room accommodations will prevent me from returning. There are much better values for $300 per night.

Wow

Amazing! Service was outstanding, food was delicious, and spa was spectacular. Just wish there was more "modern" options of watching TV in the rooms, with something like a Chromecast or streaming service instead of live TV.

Went here for massages staff very friendly and had a cozy feel. However business practice is not professional. Massage is $175 for 50 mins. You can pay extra for deep tissue or special lotion. When you go to pay an automatic 20% gratuity is added to bill the lady at desk says its automatically added and you can't even see the total cost displayed anywhere on a register or tablet. You have to specifically ask to have a custom tip placed and tell her what number you wish to give all without knowing total. Also the lotion that paid extra for gave my wife a rash, which was an extra slap in the face after being pressured to tip 20% without seeing total till i got receipt. Will not return due to poor business practices.

Toilet seat cover in the ballroom was very nice. Perfect size for the toilet seat. However, the automatic toilet has a quick trigger. It'll pull your cover down way before you're ready if you're not careful.

We celebrated our anniversary here with the signature package. No complaints. The staff was great, the spa and dining were AMAZING.

This is a great place for a romantic getaway that is close to home but feels like you are a million miles away.

While the room itself was fairly nice, the heating system was not up to participate. The room was always cold and the hallway outside was actually much warmer. The rest of the facilities was very nice and the food at the restaurant was excellent, however the incessant playing of cheesy Christmas carols really distracted from the romantic getaway mood that we were looking for.

My first time at the Lodge, and it was wonderful.
From the valet to check in to dining staff to gift shop to check out, everyone was courteous and professional.
The room was beautiful, warm & inviting, with relaxing lighting. The movie/TV was pretty low resolution/blurry, but that wasn't very important.
The food was delicious! Expensive but generous portions, so it was very worth it.
The entire stay was very relaxing, cozy, and friendly! It was a wonderful time at Salish Lodge.

For a can of twin peaks, it is a place of worship. For someone who is not, it is simply a charming, romantic and unique hotel.
Its waterfall, its surroundings, its kitchen and the fireplace in the room make it a place to be enjoyed second by second.
And do not forget that they have a "good damn coffee" in the room

The location is fantastic. There is valet parking as soon as you pull in, any room overlooking the falls is great. The restaurant has great food with top notch service. As long as you can afford to forget about your wallet the experience is great.

Dinner and drinks in The Attic. The wait staff was impeccably polite, the cocktails were just what we were hoping for, and the entrees were absolutely delicious. Couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Had a deep tissue massage at spa and ate lunch at the attic. The spa amenities were superior to others I've experienced, spatious mineral pools + sauna and steam room. The area was also coed, great if you're attending with a significant other. Lunch at the attic was delicious, best Moscow mule I've had! I would happily return to Salish.

BEWARE OF BUYING GIFT CERTIFICATE at this business establishment. When I purchased a $440 gift certificate for my wife's birthday, I was told by the person behind the front desk the gift certifcate was refundable but not transferable. However, I was DENIED refund to the original form of payment when my wife wanted me to return the gift certificate. Only when I filed a formal complaint with my credit card company, I was issued a refund and I destroyed the gift certificate afterwards. A week ago Salish Lodge changed their mind, the lodge put another charge onto my credit card claiming that I need to bring gift certificate back in order to receive a credit - why can't the business establishment do this in the beginning and now they want the gift certificate back when I was denied by front desk manager. This establishment needs to update their business practice model to the 21st century. Consider all the headaches this generates, I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this place. By far this is the worst experience I have with any hotel/spa establishments in the west coast.

My daughter and I took our two dogs who are so frightened of fireworks to the Salish Lodge over the 4th of July weekend. Worked out great! No bombs going off or anything nearby. Great food, great place and very relaxing.

Good free parking. Beautiful facility. Nice location. We were told there would be a wait for the restaurant then a professional looking young man approached and said he could seat us upstairs. We won't mess with the restaurant downstairs next time. The most fantastic view is upstairs. Seating was comfortable. Servers were the best. We had a pizza and it was like being back in Italy. Definitely worth a trip.

Really wonderful service! Loved our room for a quiet, romantic getaway next to the falls. Clean, family-friendly location with a great view! Thoroughly enjoyed the food. The Attic restaurant has the BEST spicy Italian pizza. Easy check in-check out. Great parking space. Lovely holiday (went in December) themed shop. Overall wonderful experience and would definitely go again!!

Huge waterfall coupled with interpretative signs, decent restrooms and gorgeous lodge with wood burning fireplaces made this a must see. Top marks for being dog friendly. I would give it five stars except for limited parking and high prices.

Meh

My wife and I went to the restaurant for some hot chocolate. It was really fun watching the waiter make it right in front of us.
It was also a blast being able to drink it and watch the waterfall at the same time.

The Salish Lodge was a major disappointment, though the "forest view" room my husband and I stayed in was well-appointed, the lodge was chaotic and packed with guests (and their noisy children), staff service was exceptionally poor, and there was no wow-factor to the property or its amenities. I would not recommend this property to other guests.
