Came here today and even though I wasn't satisfied with the service for my first order the management handled it so professionally and with such compassion. They made something else for me that was quite delicious and did everything they could to make sure my friend and I left satisfied. I truly appreciate their kindness

What a beautiful and romantic place. It's so lovely to stay the night and enjoy the spa and evening libations. The Dining room is so lovely and is filled with class. The staff is wonderful and attentive. I would only stay else where if I had to save money.

It's tough to beat this gorgeous spa, which sit on top of Snoqualmie Falls. My favorite spot is the casual dining place called The Attic, attached to the Lodge. Fun food, great local inspired drinks, and live music on Friday nights.

We stayed here in September, 2013 for our anniversary. Our overall experience was that this is just a big cheesy hype to get you in the door and pay a gregarious amount of money for a room next a water fall.

Before I dive deep into this establishment, you should note, there is not ONE room that has a view of the water falls. Despite what they tell you, the best view you could ever get is the teeny top of the falls running over the edge. It looks like a little river running over rocks. The best view is from the observation platform 100 yards away.

Think about it, look at pictures of the Lodge, it s sitting on TOP of the falls, therefore the only view you could ever get is the very teeny topsy top of the falls.
Don t go into this thinking you will be all romantic snuggled watching a waterfall, you will be leaving 1-star reviews like us! Also, don t expect anybody to make you feel special, nobody has any clue what s going on much less wants to wish you a Happy Anniversary.

Here is the breakdown:

Valet/Parking:
5 Star, fast, attentive and all around good people.

Front-Desk Staff:
1 Star, they couldn t know their left from their right. Check-in is at 4PM, and god-forbid you show up a few minutes early. This gentleman at the front was so snooty that we were there just a few minutes before 4PM. Our bad?

Food:
1 Star, AVOID. Overpriced, it was cheesy, it tasted like somebody heated something frozen up in the back. The steak was burnt black and cold blue in the middle, that s medium rare? Our waiter looked like a dishwasher and couldn t speak English. Since it was our anniversary...I just wasn t in the mood to argue with everybody. We ordered a package from Salish, big mistake. Our waiter had no idea what we were owed and we ended up going off-course quite a bit. DON T buy the packages. If you go, just do your own thing.

Room:
2 Star, the room itself is great! Fireplace, spacious, cozy, but we paid extra for the premium View room. Do you want to know what the view consisted of? Puget Sound Energy equipment....ROMANTIC!!!!!! So glad we paid extra for that!! I would leave negative stars just for that fact alone. Remember: No rooms at the Salish Lodge have a good view!

Moral of the story, it s a big cheesy mistake. But if we ever go back, which I doubt we will, stay in any room, the cheapest room you can find. Go to the attic for dinner, they have better service and food.

But best yet, just go and look at the falls, it s free and go on your merry way to another place to stay.

This place is somewhat magical. I take my out-of-town guests here, and even celebrated a wedding anniversary here. I ve never spent the night. The food in the downstairs restaurant is fantastic. My wife and I went here for Seattle Restaurant Week, and got a great deal on a dinner. It was so good that we have been back and paid full price without regretting it! I have eaten upstairs more often, and the food is pretty good there are well. Selection is very different, so they can t be compared. The views are amazing. I ve had dinner next to the big picture window while the sun was setting over the falls. Like I said, magical. There is even a path down to the river so you can get up close and personal (safely) with the falls. I ve taken some knockout photos from this trail. I recommend hiking or walking shoes for the trail, as it is dirty or dusty, depending on the season. I ve walked down with my wife, both in dress shoes, and while we didn t fall, our shoes were a bit worse for ware. Parking is exceptional and easy in this location, no matter where you are coming from. Even the gift shop is great. Some wonderful selections of honey, cookbooks, and local products and souvenirs. Well worth a visit!

Our party of 6 was seated in a private room, which was much appreciated with two young children and allowed us to have a much more relaxed experience. Service and food were excellent, as always. This is our go-to restaurant for out of town guests and this visit was another great experience.

Beautiful spot somewhat challenging hike parking can be an issue but other than that I loved it the gift shop was super quiet and cute decent coffee on site not too far out of the way if you want to have a day trip with your family

My wife and I have a combined 20+ years of experience in hotel & hospitality. Our stay at Salish could not have been better. From our initial reservation over the phone, to the valet, to the front desk staff, as well as room service - all staff were professional, pleasant and anticipatory. They took Covid-19 precautions exceptionally well - as they have face-recognition temperature tests, for example. This was our mini-moon as my wife and I were recently married and the hotel was clean and the staff were very gracious in making our stay special. I can't wait to be back and relaxing at Salish.

You can get such a perfect up-close look at Snoqualmie Falls that the mist sprays you in the face. This place is utterly gorgeous, and the food in the bar area upstairs is delicious. We ordered the most popular appetizer, which was bruschetta, and it was a good call. Fresh, tasty, and a little messy in a fun way. We had an A+ waterfall view from our table, and the staff was super friendly. This is a perfect place for a quiet nature-oriented date.

it was absolutely amazing from the time we stepped out of our car until we left. The staff were truly in the spirit of the holidays, very accommodating to our questions and my food allergy. Very accommodating towards our pet. We were treated with quality that I have never received even at a five-star hotel. The room was absolutely beautiful we were welcomed in with a note and holiday card, everyone from the concierge, reception, chef, to the housekeeping were in wonderful cheerful spirits and everyone was extraordinary friendly. it felt more like I was staying with family and not at a spa and Lodge.

anniversary suprise from the husband. .. service is so worth the trip everyone obviously cares about their job!! best customer service and the food is to die for!!! great experience! !
I read a negative review here about late check in and the tub to small etc.
our experience is way different, your room was not available when we got here but the staff was more then accommodating. Complimentary beverages waiting in the attic and my husband and I are not skinny and the tub has way more room for more then the 2 of us....
you can't always make everyone happy, some people are born grumpy :(
we love this place... gorgeous , friendly staff, and our room (2 double beds) was amazing! !

Not worth the price. Rooms just average and the food was ok and the service was slow and the restaurant was not even busy. Many other places to stay that you can get your money's worth

Exceptional Visit to an old time favorite!

Exceptional Visit to an old time favorite!
I was shopping other properties like Inn at Langley and The Eagle Harbor Inn and I am so pleased with my choice of The Salish Lodge. Even though I payed a higher price to stay it was worth every penny and more... Just a priceless experience from The Attic birthday dinner with my girl, to the surprise gift that we had an amazing room with a river view. Alex, at the front desk was instrumental in the execution on this carefully planned event(he deserves a promotion or at least a raise, in my mind!) I also believe that Club 268 (height of the waterfalls in feet!) and it s accommodations was yet another feature that raises the bar for all other competing hotels!
Thank you so much for the great service all around.

Loved our babymoon stay at Salish! Was so nice to go to sleep with the windows open listening to the waterfall. I wish there was more comfy outdoor seating to read a book and enjoy the scenery but I get it, with the rainy weather wouldn t make sense most of the time. We ll be back for sure!

Caitlin was the best server! We got the French toast, classic eggs Benedict, crab omelette and morning mule! I ll be back for more, thank you for making my day! Oh btw fresh biscuits are complimentary

Rooms are ridiculously over-priced. Our room was dusty and bed had stains. The spa was nice, however the spa services was very overpriced. The steps near the hot tub has most growth. Drinks in the Attic bar was expensive as well. The fall is beautiful, but spending almost $1,000, between the room, drinks, dinner and two spa services, it's a one time deal staying there.

Be prepared to pull your wallet out for rooms over $300.00 a night. It's a spa, but the best aspects are what nature adds- the cascading high Falls. The food is good so I've heard, again expensive.

Enjoyed our visit to Salish. Beautiful well kept facility. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only regret was we didn't have time to try the restaurant. Oh and the falls, what a great place for pictures.

Great location, beautiful views, nice rooms and friendly staff. We visited for the second time on the Costco package (great deal). We ate and had drinks at the Attic for happy hour Thursday, which was lovely, but would have been even better if the seats by the windows were open. Friday we had the country breakfast at the Dining Room, which is amazing. Tip: have the country breakfast 'backwards', starting with the proteins and adding with the pastries. The spa is fantastic! The pools and sauna area are relaxing and well kept. We opted for the couples massage upgrade and added hot stones to the deep tissue massages. My wife had a great massage, mine wasn't up to pat for a facility like this, but the manager promptly responded and worked to recover the experience (this is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5). We'll be back again, and looking forward to a better spa visit next time around.

It's a nice short get away from Seattle. The rooms are very nice, the beds are comfortable, there's wood-burning fireplaces and hot tubs. The restaurants have really good food. Maybe this should be a 5-star review... But I always feel like it could be a little more glamorous, maybe.

We stop by every time we go to Eastern Washington, just like today. Spent $200.00 in an hour on food drink and other items. Walked up to our car, which was parked directly in front of the establishment, with a $40 parking ticket! Never saw a pay for parking sign nor thought we would have to pay for parking as we never have before. Well we hope your little agreement with Diamond Parking is worth losing life long customers because we are never coming back. And we are spreading the word! Very disappointed in such an upscale (expensive) establishment. Really you can't even afford parking for you customers?

My husband brought me here for my birthday night away. Our room was gorgeous and the view was breathtaking! The only downside was ordering room service, they didnt have some of the things on the menu. But other than that I loved it. The breakfast at the restaurant was amazing! The staff was really nice and answered all out questions.

Beautiful atmosphere at this hotel. Very clean and romantic. From the moment you walk in your room soft music plays and sets the mood. The food was great but pricy. We did have an issue with the fireplace so make sure you follow instructions included with your room key. I'd recommend a one night stay as the town is small and I think that's enough time to see the falls and enjoy the evening.

I visited the lodge with my family after seeing Snoqualmie Falls. We visited the gift shop and loved the assortment of gifts available for purchase. I relaxed in the lobby in front of a fireplace with very comfortable chairs. I want to stay here one day as it's always a joy to visit!
