I came to the ER in the early morning hours of December 26th due to severe pain from diverticulitis. I had to come in alone, which I hated, but understood. I was taken back almost immediately and was treated with excellent care the entire time in the ER. I ended up being admitted and spent 5 days due to severe infection and perforation. The care I received was excellent. Everyone was attentive and nice.
Fast forward to June 29th when I had an open sigmoidectomy. Dr. Patton performed my surgery and she was absolutely amazing! Her bedside manner is incredible. She listens and truly cares about the well being of her patients. The nurses and staff were wonderful and took excellent care of me during my time there.

Waited for almost 5 hours with a throat that was causing me tears when i so much as breathe. I begged to be seen or even to get some ice my mom asked multiple times. Nothing, no Ive nothing. Sat in the waiting room for 5 hours with no help to my condition. I decided I d rather cry in my bed than a waiting room full of people being ignored by doctors, nurses and other workers. Honestly one star is generous. If I could give this place Zero I wouldn t hesitate

Is there a no star selection available? This a pitiful excuse for an emergency department. They are unable to maintain accurate documentation of events in multiple areas of the hospital including the complaint department. They do not ask for clarification and make their own assumptions. They have poor decision making and terrible diagnosis. What kind of incompetent individuals are being employed by this poor excuse of a hospital? Do NOT use this hospital.

I brought my momma (she s 84 and has had major confusion not urinating very much and when she does it s kind of orange and is severely weak) here on Saturday, got here at 11:58 a.m. and right this minute it is 3:13, haven t seen a doctor and the nurses (all but 1) have been curt with my momma when she asked when she was going to get a room. This is the worst experience and we won t come back here under any circumstances. I m just hoping that the care she receives once we do get to go back is professional and good. In other words if you have a choice go somewhere else.

Dr. Porter is one of the best qualities and attributes of Saline Memorial! He is the kindest doctor, he listens to his patients and he is honest. He goes above and beyond, as one of his patients, I am always willing to bet on him anytime I or my family have to visit Saline memorial. Haley in outpatient registration is kind and patient, I seen her yesterday and she was nothing but nice. I appreciate that as I am positive most patients do. Connie, in surgery registration, she is often found spoken very highly of as her kindness and thoughtfulness of her patients carries, not just when patients are there, but even when they leave. As a patient, that is what true patient care is from all three of these astounding individuals.

Got to the back really quick. It wasn't busy. The first lady I talked to was super sweet, but the nurse I had was very rude and unwelcoming. She also acted like I didn't have a valid reason to be there..

If you have an emergency, you better count your lucky stars that you don t come here. I ve been in this waiting room for 6 hours. Don t come here if you want to be seen in a timely manner.

My mom came in to the ER. Staff was so nice they went above and beyond to make her comfortable. Karley RN is a super nurse and so understanding of an elderly patient which they can be handful at times. Gave her pain medication and antibiotics. Dr Schmidt was polite great bedside manners came in and explained everything to us several times as they figured out what was going on with her. I m pleased with the service we got. Tyler hospital PA came in wanted to know if needed anything double checked all medications she was on he was knowledgeable of everything that was going on. Great staff tonight!! Thank y all!!

While in past years
Saline Memorial Hospital has gained a reputation for being not quite the best place to go. But after my first overnight stay there and just going home today I would like to say that the staff as far as the nurses anyway actually the nurses the doctors everybody really except maybe the ER checkin people I wouldn t give them five stars but they weren t terrible I guess maybe three... Okay 3 5. But the emergency room nurses were very good I m not complaints.
Ended up having to have an emergency gallbladder removal. The first time of ever had surgery. I wish I would ve gotten names of all the wonderful people who helped me I was there but I didn t. One name I did get was one of the nurses in the surgery which was Peyton. She was very very good at her job and very helpful.

I would appreciate it if hospital administration would lookup all of the nurses and assistants who helped me while I was there and thank them for me. Expecially the assistant who ended up being the in one who wheeled me out the the car when I was discharged.

They all deserve praise for doing such an excellent job

Including my Surgeon and Anesthesiologist. Both super professional and without a doubt at the top of their game.

I wouldn't hesitate going back to Saline Memorial again in the future. Honestly I think it would be my first choice

I had the BEST labor and delivery experience here!! I had my first 2 children at other hospitals and just had my 3rd one here yesterday. the nurses were AMAZING. I mean every single one of them were so friendly, hard working, attentive, and supportive! they answered all of my 600 questions, helped me so much after and during delivery, and were happy to help anytime I needed anything! My OB Dr Robb is amazing as well! He is so friendly and understanding, I am so incredibly greatful to have had this amazing experience with this hospital. I left the hospital with new friends in the nurses.
