They need to increase the number of employees on the floor. I went to the customer service desk and asked for help in a certain dept (Organic food next to their Pharmacy) at about 4.00 pm or so on a weekday and was told that the person "in charge" had left for the day. At 4.00 PM, the whole dept was left without a person to help... With the prices they charge ... they should have enough staff to help customers too

Ok

Very very large Shoprite with just about everything you could imagine. Store is very large with a huge frozen section, huge produce section, and a huge healthy and fitness section compared to most other shoprites. Well kept.

Rented a Rug Doctor to shampoo my carpet. As soon as I tried to shampoo my carpet the machine stopped working after 5 minutes. The next day I had a very early flight and was told I had to bring it back right away to get my money back. I explained to the manager, his name is Mario De la Llana on the phone what happened with he machine and how it did not work. He kept telling me to bring it back right now, I explained that I was on my way to the airport and could not do this. I explained that my girlfriends brother would be returning the machine later that night when he got back from work. He kept going back and forth with me in a hostile attitude but reluctantly agreed to refund me if the machine's meter showed that it was not used and if the machine was brought back that day. My girlfriends brother brought the machine back but I never received my refund. One week later I get back from vacation and go visit the store to speak with management. Mario was actually there who very rudely and in a disgusting unprofessional manner kept telling me that I would not get a refund because when my girlfriends brother brought the machine back he said there was nothing wrong with it. I kept telling him I spoke with him and he did not say anyone asked if the machine worked or not. I kept trying to reason with Mario and explain that it is very unfair to charge me for something that did not work and asked why he did not run the meter like he said he would to see if I actually used the machine. He would not answer my question and kept saying that no matter what I said I would not get my money back and he would not give me a refund. I then told him I would call corporate, which he gave me the number to. I asked for a copy of my paper work for the machine and Mario literally slammed his fists down behind the desk and yelled in my face that he would not give me anything and would not help me with anything. I asked him if he wanted to fight me or something, I was not sure what was happening, he said no but he will not help me anymore. I explained to him it is truly sad for ShopRite to have someone like him representing them, it is not even about the $48 I spent on the machine anymore it is about the principle that if something did not work and you promise a refund to follow through. I guess he does not know he does not just represent himself but the entire ShopRite Corporation as well. I am in management myself and have dealt with many issues, never in my life would I even to think to deal with an issue the way he did. I will be calling corporate to explain the situation.

Recently I special ordered a cake here, the bakery department dealt with my relentless questions and calls with such kindness and grace. The end product was delicious and incredibly fair priced!!!

I shop here frequently and am starting to realize it's not worth the aggravation. Need to shop with a cart? No worries, one will be left in the spot you try to park in. Need a basket instead? There'll never be any in the entrance so have fun checking all the registers until you find one. Congrats, you've already hit your fitbit goal and you haven't even picked up your first item.Time to give up and leave with only one or two things and hit the Taco Bell drive thru instead. On the way out, don't question why there's always ultra-patriotic music blaring at max volume in the vestibule. (Granted, this goes for every Saker Shop Rite.) Definitely nothing weird about that.

I like it here ..this store is pretty big...aisles clean..and more than enough elbow rm...as most shop rites I've been too..prices are better than their competitors ..way better..you can buy more here for your dollar than the other big stores..i live about 14 miles from this store..but I'd rather shop here than the shop rite by my house...which is in the town I live in...

This is my home store. Always well stocked and if I don't see what I'm looking for staff always will check in the back. Only downside is prices can be higher on some items and sales could be more consistent. Overall a great place to shop!

Everything is over priced. A bag of McDonald's coffee at Shoprite costs $8.99. Same bag of coffee at Target is $6.99!!
Last week I bought the club savers pork chops at Shoprite for $10 and change. This week they are $15 and up!!
A pound of chop beef costs $6!!!! Italian bread was $1.79 a loaf. The price has steadily gone up. Now it's $2.39 a loaf!
RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I only buy chicken and beef at Shop rite. Everything else I go to Wal-Mart.

Smaller store with a great staff and selection. Shoprite from home is the best! They have a great organic section that has so many brands. They also stock allergy friendly products, like enjoy life, sunflower and soy butter, and have always ordered products that I've been looking for.

Great
