This school will guide him in Academics, Spirituality, Athletics, Integrity and Personal Responsibility. The Military aspect and the uniform will teach him what it means to be part of something bigger and give him a sense of pride and accomplishment. I believe that these years are so formative in a young mans life and I know this school will do everything in its power to develop the individual within. I attended Saint Thomas Academy (STA) in the 90s and cannot say enough good things about my experience there. Second only to my parents, I credit STA with making me the man that I am today. The all male, Catholic, military, college prep. experience is unique in Minnesota, and it prepared me well for college and beyond. Additionally, many of the friendships that I forged while at STA continue today. It is because of this outstanding experience that I continue to stay involved with STA both through volunteer work and financial contributions.

If you are looking for a school for your son, I strongly encourage you to consider Saint Thomas Academy. It is a decision that will pay dividends throughout his life.

We began our relationship with STA in 2009 when the oldest entered as a Freshman. Not being from this area or having any prior knowledge of the school I was very hesitant until we attended an open house. It has been a great decision. The leadership fundamentals the boys receive from the military program are something you won't find anywhere else. The all male environment encourages/allows (not sure which) the boys to compete academically as naturally as they do with sports. They learn to take pride in their appearance, (they will begin ironing their own shirts!) Faculty and staff are top notch and doing a wonderful job.

Our oldest is at college sophomore in Chicago and doing outstanding. We have a senior who's had a great experience and has chosen and been accepted at UST. Our freshman is loving every minute of it and our 8th grader can't wait to start at STA next year.

The only reason this school is not already a five out of five is because of kids from Henry Sibley thinking it is funny to demote Saint Thomas Academy because they are angry because Saint Thomas beats us (Henry Sibley) every year in hockey and in football.

Saint Thomas Academy is a perfect fit for my son. He is very self-motivated and offers leadership skills and STA is pushing him further to thrive in this. He absolutely loves going to school every day!!
