Unfortunately, I can only give this center a single star. We have had our loved one there for several months and after we expressed concerns about the care, there response was to ask us to remove our 90 year old grandfather to another facility. When someone is medically required to move into the SNF after a hospitalization, St. John's expects the family to continue to pay for the assisted living room while they are receiving full reimbursement from Medicare. If you object to their double dipping, you have to check out, i.e. be discharged, and if you want to move your elderly back to their old room, you have to pay the new increased rate or you're not welcome to return. If you have any complaints or concerns about the care provided, same response: take your loved one somewhere else. We are referring to elderly residents and moving them is detrimental to both their physical and psychological well being! DON'T PUT YOUR ELDERLY THERE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO MOVE THEM AROUND WHEN THINGS GET DICEY!! THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN WORKING WITH THE FAMILY, JUST MOVE OUT SO THEY CAN FILL THEIR POCKETS WHILE THEY CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MEDIOCRE CARE!
