My daughter got seriously sick after visiting this place. She was hospitalized with diarrhea and stomach cramps after accidentally swallowing some of the water. Never again will we ever return to this place.

Went here today for a birthday party. We had the option of staying longer for a small additional fee... no one wanted to. Good facilities with a variety of activities, but it was getting REALLY crowded and our eyes were burning from the vast amounts of chlorine used. If you come, bring goggles.

My daughter's loved it but once you've been to one indoor waterpark, you've pretty much been to them all. They're all basically set up the same way. The bar was a lovely addition for the parents that didn't want to be in the water the whole time. The drinks were well made and the food was pretty good too. My only issue when we went was the wave surf or whatever it was called, wasn't working. Not sure how long it was out of order bit that was definitely a let down. That was like the only thing for adults to enjoy but we couldn't. Other than that, it's a nice time for the kids .

This was our third visit there. We were very disappointed that they told us we were not to bring a birthday cake all though we have rented a cabana unless we would to rent the party room which of course was taken. All though we have rented the cabana ahead when we got there we had to wait for an hour for someone to take us to the cabana. I think at some point they forgot about us. The place seems to be going down hill as well every time a bigger and bigger crowed, water is dirty trash just laying around. The people are rude constantly cutting lines bumping into you without even saying excuse me. The life guards constantly on every once case away from walls, ropes, no play fight, no splashing, at some point my 5 year old son wrapped his arms around my shoulders and I was just pulling him around, that was a no no as well. I don't think we will be coming back here again.

For starters everyone that works here is rude and nit picky my daughter is three and doesn't wanna wear her wrist band so this overly makeuped dolled up colored lady who thinks she's working at a club came up to me and told me she HAS to wear her wrist band SHES THREE the food is outrageously priced. The Mac and cheese is brown they barely give you any food when you spend 40$ on a three year old and two adults for crappy food the chicken sticks taste like funel cake because they're obviously cooking everything together back there this place is the biggest rip off ever take your kids some where else the one life guard that works here supervising my child from drowning is wearing a house arrest band around his ankle that's comforting and reassuring NOT this place is ghetto

This place is profit-centered, not service-oriented. Went as a family of 4 for the first time, thought season passes were a good deal ($190 for 2018-19 for 4) until we got there - you get what you pay for.

While it was not that crowded on a Friday night 4-9pm, many of the rides were closed. The main 4 slides up several flights of stairs had two for which you had to carry your own tube; but the problem is that there was only one person working and she would switch from ride to ride, so you would not know which ride was open next. If you did not bring a tube up thinking one of the other rides were open, you're out of luck and stuck on the wrong line until whenever.

At one pt., a group of 4, 2 men 2 women, were on line with us - the two men started making out, even with children around.

After about an hour I was done, but my children were happy to go on the rides again & again even with the wait. I thought I'd hang out at the hot tub, but it was a "warming tub" - water was about the same temp. as the pool (not warm) with some bubbles. An extremely large man happen to be sitting in it the whole time and the tub was small. It was also located next to the cafeteria - shot of fried grease smell every time someone came out. I passed.

The outdoor rides were all closed but there was Halloween special (came free w/our passes), which was an interesting stroll through various exhibits in the dark. Basically, a bunch of people dressed up looking like death in various forms booed/hissed at you from nowhere and everywhere to startle you. Not very scary, but good fun. The costumes & decorations were well staged, not just the cheap stuff you'd find at party stores. There were a lot of workers ready to pounce on you - time and money definitely went into this effort. I was glad I did not buy the passes before the August cut-off date - then it would have cost an add'l $13.99 pp.

The kiddie arcade is where I ran into trouble. We are not regular arcade users and I generally do not like them. They are a money pit for parents and they resemble casinos. That being said, we got $40 of free game cards with our passes, so why waste them and if I am going to play, why not play to win so kids can take home some worthless plastic to keep them happy in the 2+ hour car ride, even if the toys end up in the garbage?

I ventured to the game where you fire coins to make other stationary coins fall into a pit. The silver coins are worth 5 pts., green chips 10 pts., red chips 20 pts. and game cards were worth 50 pts. Silver coins that fall into the pit do not come out of the machine, but the other items are supposed to come out, be collected and redeemed for prizes.

In the first game I played -first time ever, never played before- I got one green coin. Yay! I moved to a different machine and even though I saw a few green & red chips fall down, nothing came out of the machine. Did I read the instructions wrong? If so, why did I get one green chip from the first machine? Do the chips come out or not? I finished the 12 rounds quickly, didn't win any bonus rounds. Then same thing happened in the third machine - saw chips go down but none came out. So 3 games on 3 different machines, I had one green chip. I asked a worker to clarify game rules.

Worker said I'd have to ask the mgr. to get $2 put back into my card. Jim the mgr. came and argued with me for 15 mins., suggested I was lying, did not take any responsibility for the machines and kept telling me to "call the number" on the machine. (There was no number.) The points are accumulated in the card itself electronically, so he could scan the card to see I was not lying, but he said he doesn't know what fell into the pit, which was a logical argument. Since I played 3 games, got 1 chip, so either I was really bad or I was telling the truth - if I was really bad, I'll probably do the same thing again if he let me redo 2 games! Bottom line: he didn't want to help, worst manager anywhere ever - I have never had such a terrible experience before. All for $2!

It was my birthday today and it was fun,but there were 3things I did not like! First when we went on a big raft ride the lady pushed the raft, but then she kicked water into my friends face. The when my other friends got out off the raft hshe was really itching but I really did not think anything of it but then my friends and I eyes were itching and they were red! Then the last thing was there was so much colrean in the water that my friends and I were cofing to the point that we we're breathing hevaly and our lungs hurt!!! Overall this was a bad b-day.

We had a pretty bad experience when we went. A complete FREE FOR ALL. The lifeguards were a bunch of miserable teenagers. They'd yell at toddlers but wouldn't stop another teenager or adult from acting a fool. Arguments all over the place the entire time we were there. Only staff around were the lifeguards & they would walk the other way if you tried to get their attention. Over crowded is not the word. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Today was awesome. Some days it bad. The reason is because today the chlorine level was right. My son wasn't coughing and didn't have to leave early. Other day it really bad and we stay for about an hour

Here are some pros and cons of going to Sahara Sam's
Cons: 1.REALLY expensive food, drinks and snacks. A normal snickers bar is three without tax. And this is TORTURE, because of con number two.
2. You're not allowed to bring your own FOOD, SNACKS, or DRINKS
3. DO NOT go in the pool at Sahara sams. I went in and started COUGHING and my face BURNED.
4. There aren't that many slides. There are SIX slides. Two tube with one or two people slides. One family. One one person no tube slide. Two headfirst mat slides.
5. You'll get SICK of the "park" in a couple of hours.
6. The water in the Lazy River is COLD and the Lazy River doesn't give any special view.
7. The smell of (EXPENSIVE) pizza is in the air.
Pros: 1. Annual admission and normal admission is pretty decent.
2. The lines aren't that long.
3. The slides are good
4. Other than the cons, the park is okay...
Eat before you get to Sahara Sam's or you will waste a lot of money. Sunscreen yourself before getting to Sahara Sam's because to buy sunscreen their is crazy expensive!!
Overall: 73.50 out of 100
Whatever you do, don't make Sahara Sam's a day activity. I still had fun, though.

Very ghetto, over crowded, not well planned on part of the administration, I'm almost positive that the fire code was violated. The kid's spent more time in line than on the ride's, adult's with their kid's cut in front of children, some people have no manner's at all! Alcohol is served there so just know that there are drunk parent's whose kid's are running around unsupervised. Dirty underwear in the pool just floating around. There aren't enough employee's to keep up with that amount of people who don't care. Way to much chlorine to the point of many people vomiting including my kids who wanted to leave. The chlorine burn in the lungs and on the skin is not worth it. We will not be returning, my child's birthday experience was ruined at Sahara Sam's.

Me and my wife took her youngest sister on her birthday just to harass Sam's oasis and we had a blast punctuation mark. My wife is handicapped uses a walker so most of the time there is an much she can do as far as fun stuff but it Sahara Sams she was able to do everything except the big water rights that were up six flights of stairs but all in all three thumbs up. Oh very important though the cafeteria food is super expensive we had one drink to cheesesteaks and order a chicken tenders and it came out to almost $60 bring lunch

My (almost) two year old and 33 year old husband both love this place. The water park is on the smaller side, but I find it more manageable when you have two kids to look after and don t have time to be running around looking all over a huge crowded park for your child. The water is warm and the changing rooms and bathrooms have always been clean when I come. My main two gripes with this place is that you can t bring outside food or drinks in and that they serve alcohol here. I understand they want to make money, but the prices for food are very high. Best to either find a way to sneak in your own food (it can be easily done) or go out to your car to eat. As for the alcohol, it makes zero sense to have a bar here when it s a kids water park. If you can t handle taking your kids out for the day without drinking, you may need to see a doctor. And the fact that they are allowed to drink outside of the bar area, where the chairs are and kids are running around, that is crazy. Maybe I ve seen one two many lifetime movies, I don t feel comfortable with buzzed adults and half naked teens in the same proximity.

Have been there this week with two teenage girls and it was OK. We came in and found that the "changing area was extremely messy, the bathrooms were disgusting...toilet paper on the floor and hair all over the place. Well we made our way to the rides. The rides are good but they only have four and they are short, so we were done with them after an hour. Our next stop was the outside area, where they have two children pools and then the wave pool. We actually enjoyed the waves but it got a little crammed with all the people rushing to it. In all we stayed for 2 hours and then we were bored and left.

It's a blast when it's not a birthday party. We reserved a cabana ..got there and was told its first come first serve . Then only had a birthday section with other parties with no tables. The water rides ..etc were fun no complaints ..besides the changing area ... theres not a boys or girls one unless you go in the bathroom. Just wear ur stuff under ur clothes.. then we were rushed into a party room to celebrate. Was given game cards for the kids but they were closed by the time our party rental was over ... Dont book parties .. just take your kids and have fun .. less confusion ..

Unprofessional staff. 33 degrees outside and my niece and nephews clothing and coats were stolen. Management wouldn't even give them a dry tshirt to leave in when they were soaking wet. These are 6, 4, and 2 year olds! Management also wouldn't let my family see the camera footage of the area of where their stuff was sitting and told my family to go get a lawyer. They also accused my family of lying when they were trying to explain how their seats were turned around when they found that their stuff was missing. I'll never take my kids there now as I had planned on going in the future.

Giving this place a 1 star rating is highly generous me and my boyfriend were on vacation so we figured we'd try this place out since we're water park people we looked at the reviews and saw a lot of bad ones but figured if they didnt have a good time didnt mean we wont boy were we ever wrong it took us 2 hours to get there and what a waste of time and gas it cost $30 to get in and then we walked in and I went to put my bathing suit on while he went to walk the park I meet up with him and hes like this place is small isnt it doesn't look like there was much to do and he was right it was awkward enough being there because it was overrun by kids no one our age was there (20's) and the chlorine oh my God it changed my bathing suit color from a bright pink to a fuchsia color and my eyes did burn walking around a couple times to the point where I couldn't see where I was walking half the stuff wasnt even open yet when we got there so we had to wait around the hot tub wasnt even hot and we asked the lifeguard if there was anything else open she gave us a look every time we walked by the pool was only 3 foot and there was maybe what 3 slides a lazy river and a "hot" tub for us adults to do waaay more of a kid oriented park were not ones to complain but damn also the food was highly expensive I got 2 "baskets" of chicken fingers and fries and a soda and it cost me 27 DOLLARS for 3 more dollars I could've bought another admission to get into the park unless you have a lot of kids this might be a place for you but it was just a bust for us good thing we didnt just go up there for that or else we wouldn't been highly disappointed yes Aquatopia and the Kalahari park are a bit more expensive but we had way more fun here than this place sorry but we are never coming back

Been a member for 2 years. Great value for entire year of swimming. Get there at opening as large bus loads of people show constantly throughout the week. Also if you go late...there are gross things floating about the pool by end of day. Food is ridiculously priced and OK. Best to pack a lunch and eat in the lot.

I was disappointed to see that part if a pool had been reduced to make room for cabanas. They open their doors at 10 am and you're lucky if you get 2 hours before it gets packed. They also add too much chlorine. If your child suffers from bronchitisis or asthma they may not enjoy themselves much. They will spend most of the time trying to breathe. There was no heat in the concession area so be prepared to freeze when you go to get something to eat. The food is a little over price but it's expected in places like this. We bought season passes but I'm not sure that we would go back to often. Not really worth the drive, gas and tolls.

I like it, my kids enjoyed themselves a lot but there is a strong smell of chlorine here. Our eyes were watery along with many others here also complaining. Was here for 3 hours and my son threw up because of the strong smell. I would love to come back again if they do something about that smell. It really isn't good , especially if there's small kids here. I recommend renting a cabana, it's less of a hassle and no waiting in long lines.

Good experience even though it got crowded fast, which dampened the experience. We had fun and I was surprised given some of the negative reviews... No issue with excessive chlorine or unacceptable lack of cleanliness. My advice, go early and get on all the slides. That way when it gets crowded, it's not a bummer to wait in line. To the owners, keep and promote Kaitlyn, she was awesome and professional to the point I sought only her out with questions and advice.

Not much to offer the older kids aside from the surfing area and a couple of tube rides. I would say this place is good for up to 13 year olds at most.
Not to be compared with some of the hotel indoor parks in the poconos.
