Saftra Photonics is a Slovak high-tech company established as a spin-off from the P. J. Safarik University, Kosice, Slovakia in 2014. The development and the business strategies of the company are based on the research activities of the group led by prof. Pavol Miskovsky, the head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences at the P. J. Safarik University, mainly in the fields of photonics and biomedical research.
