Saffron were incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient throughout our two year tenancy in Camden. They made the move-in and move-out very easy and were always a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend their services.
AWFUL service. They not only do not communicate but they lie, and shirk all responsibility. Stay clear.
Extremely unprofessional. No way of communicating with them, they do not reply to voice mails, and reply to text bluntly four days after enquiry and no email reply. I was ready to say yes to a property then after a week of trying to get through i was told in a flippant text: 'no longer available, sorry...'
I have rented a flat for two years with Saffron and have had a largely positive experience, however I have experienced a few issues:
- Broken appliances were fixed or replaced very slowly (washing machine, leaking boiler, shower pump, broken blinds) and these waiting periods were very inconvenient at the time.
- General maintenance of the flat was also not completed to the highest standard (especially for the rent that we paid) - our kitchen drawers (which were falling apart) were replaced with a unit that did not fit and looked completely out of place - but I guess this reflects more on the contractors that they hire.
- Agency / admin fees are also a bit too expensive.
Aside from these negatives, the staff are always very friendly and courteous and, despite delays in solving any problems that we had, always managed to get the job done eventually, which is more than can be said for some estate agents.
I've dealt with a number of the property management team at Saffron. They are prompt, reliable and really go to the extra mile to deliver a great service. It makes life so much more pleasant when your letting agent is so thorough and empathetic. Would happily recommend.
Worse letting agency in town. Was with them for 5 years and they always had incompetent personal who never took responsibility for their action and always charged us unfair fees. I absolutely not recommend renting with them!

Saffron Team helped me so much, I'm very happy for the service and the support they give to me when i need and for any type of problem, the Maintenance service is really fast to fix any issues...brilliant!

Our experience at Saffron at first was a bit difficult, but as soon as we got Phil Rahal involved it has been smooth sailing. He went out of his way to get us the maintenance servicing we needed, and has been great about checking in with us along the way. If the review was for Phil, it would be 5 star!
Rented a flat for a year through Saffron, and the overall experience is really bad. Everything with them seems to give some sort of problem, and you will end up paying so much more than you should. Recommend to choose a different agency!

They have consistently proven themselves exceptionally professional - delivering not only the full service that they advertise but also going above and beyond to ensure both myself and my tenants are satisfied, reassured and well provided for.
The staff and management are fast and efficient when communicating with me, and extremely personable. I would - and have - recommended them to colleagues and family.

The director of this company is frequently abusive to customers, and we have reasonable suspicion that he is lying to landlords.
I know four people who have ended up without a place to live (some students, others young professionals) because of his policies of wanton discrimination and random backstabbing.
Please save yourself some trouble and avoid him
Saffron have been very helpful and efficient in fixing our bathroom and other repairs throughout the property. They work in a timely manner and are very quick to respond on email.

Since moving into the flat, Saffron staff have been incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. There were a few things which needed fixing in our property and the team were very efficient at getting the items repaired to a high standard. The staff are knowledgeable, went out of their way to help us and were highly professional throughout. I don't see why other people have reviewed them negatively - my experience has been very good.
I used Saffron to rent a flat in central London for 10 months, and the service was very good. The flat was quite old so things (such as radiators) did break but Saffron were always quick to send contractors round to fix things. I ve had bad experiences with agencies in London in the past so was apprehensive at first, but it was a pleasant 10 months and Beatrice (our letting agent) was very cooperative and helpful.

This company in my experince do not respond to emails or phone calls from tenants or landlords. This review is prompted by a case where operating as an agent for an owner occupier in a shared tenancy building under their management. They would not respond to emergency calls or emails notifying then of the fire brigade having been called to one of their properties for a suspected gas leak. Their main office number is repeatedly not answered and their extensions for lettings and property management automatically transfer to a Vodafone mobile which is not answered nor calls or messages responded to. This creates an image of a lack of professionalism and casts a poor light on their attitude to either property or occupant safety.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!
The WORST possible letting agency you can imagine!
Worst estate agents I ve ever been with. To summarise, they re 100% money grabbers, take over 5 months to fix something and do not want communicate with you unless it s money related. I would steer clear of this agency. Friendly salespeople of course, but once you put down a holding fee it all goes downhill.
DO NOT move into a property which is managed by Saffron!

Good company, who tended to our flat issues speedily. Krisztina is very helpful.
Without a doubt, the worst estate agency I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
When we moved in, the flat hadn't even been properly cleaned! Other problems included: mice infestation (mice present before we moved in), kitchen ceiling leaked, washing machine leaks, mould on the bathroom ceiling, mould in the washing machine, dirty microwave - covered with grease and dirt, missing parts, 7 missing lightbulbs, muddy wallpaper.
All these problems either remain to this day (e.g. mice) or I have to fix myself. This was after reminding them several times to fix these issues to which they either didn't respond or gave excuses. Only ONE problem did they fix (the kitchen ceiling leaking) because it was dangerous to even live in the building.
Now my estate agent, who is frequently 'at lunch break' when I or my flatmate have called, is not even responding to my emails about the mice.
Hugely disappointed with the service overall. Avoid at all costs - cannot stress this enough.
Very dishonest people, avoid at all costs!.
They decided to increase the rent on my flat by 17% with only 13 days notice (supposed to give 6 weeks notice) then when i tried to negotiate they tried to bully me into leaving.
The propertys they have are also managed very badly, i waited 3 months for them to make a repair and they always had an excuse.
I could go on and on about why these people are so bad, but in all my years of renting around the world, these guys are the worst.

Renting a property with Saffron has been at best, a chore, at worst, downright chaos. Their staff are under qualified, over worked, blunt and rude in their communication. They have no sense of initiative, leaving us to guide our estate agent through the entire rental process. If you can avoid it, do not rent a house from this agency.
Very unreliable. We have a number of issues in our flat (knobs on radiators don't work, blinds and one wardrobe is broken, wasp nest in the vent in one room) and they don't care about it and have been ignoring us for about a month now. Will have to go there and speak directly to them. Also the two agents we were in contact with don't work there any longer. Really bad experience with this agency, can't recomment it at all.
Awful Service. They provide wrong details and wrong phone numbers.

9 months to arrange having a blind fitted to a window. Months trying to get information. No communication in their team. Missing paperwork. Passive aggressive emails. Hell, they even once sent me the landlord's paperwork because they are such idiots. This showed me that the "contractors" they hire are paid a ridiculously high rate. It's a racket that deceives landlords, too.
Their first contact is very smooth and slick, don't be deceived. Once you're handed over to their regular people it'll be a terrible experience.
I ve contacted Saffron with an issue related to the oven and the agency contacted someone immediately who fixed it that same day. They kept me informed throughout it. Overall, I received great and quick service from Saffron!
AVOID at any cost.
Place wasn't renovated before moving in. When we had to ask agency to fix something, they would break something esle while fixing it, contractors they use for works are useless. Agency is just trying to do as little as possible just to get rid of you. We reported a few things and nothing is being fixed for month. Excuses, delays, lies. We strongly suspect they lie to landlords as well.
If you don't want to be constantly emailing with them and trying to prove you are right, don't move in into property managed by them.
Staff are rude, intimidating and dishonest. This tenancy has been very difficult. We have been told that this is not our home 'it is the landlord's home' and they have no respect for their tenants. Living at a Saffron managed property is an emotionally taxing, full time job. Do not rent through them for the sake of your own wellbeing.
Immoral and awful service. Despite my brother and his friends being assaulted inside the communal area of their building by other tenants, one of them with a broken jaw and the other almost being stabbed, a police escort required to collect their things with nowhere to go, they refuse to cancel the contract on the property. They think it is adequate to say that if 2 of the assailants are taken away by police(despite more of these people who would take revenge would still be living there) then the property is safe? These poor kids are now traumatised to go back for fear of reprisal from others of what seems like a gang.
Even at the start of the tenancy they did not have the property or even the inventory sorted before we had arrived, the state of the property was an absolute shambles. No matter how desperate you are, you would be better off homeless than getting into a contract with these estate agents.
I would however like to point out the two commpetant members of staff we dealt with and advise them to work somewhere that deserves their efforts.
These guys make up the rules as they go and dont follow through on their responsibilities. Be very careful and keep an eye on the detail. Better still deal with a trustworthy property management company
Our flat has been managed by Saffron ever since we moved in. I personally can't empathise with the other reviewers here as my experienec has not been negative at all. Saffron have been extremely reactive in helping us solve problems with the flat to the point that we were so grateful of their work we ended up buying flowers and chocolates for them to say thank you. Don't let the reviews here put you off.
