The Adirondack Wedding Association/Total Entertainment is an average company. Their services are satisfactory and the staff is friendly. However, I expected more from them. The planning process was a bit disorganized and there were some miscommunications along the way. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Ashley was such a great wedding planner! Her calm and professional disposition kept us calm throughout the whole planning process. She is extremely reliable and kept us on schedule for things we needed to have done. During the wedding weekend, she was very organized and kept things moving so smoothly -- a big task for a bride who is notoriously late! It was great having her on my team, coordinating all the vendors, and I would hire her again in an instant.
Mark was a great addition to my wedding team! He made sure every detail was taken care of for the wedding weekend. He handled all the intricate and difficult tasks that we were not able to do since we were planning a destination wedding, and frankly that no bride should have to worry about doing before their wedding. He was extraordinarily professional and upbeat, and thought of every detail. We had to plan housing and busing and he stepped in to handle the whole coordination. We could not have done it without him. He also made us the most epic slideshow video that we played at the rehearsal dinner. He was a pleasure to work with, and I recommend him most highly. He will over-deliver and exceed your expectations.
We chose to go through the AAWA after meeting with Lynn at Dunhams Bay Resort and hearing about all of the benefits of using the association. Mark and all the vendors with the AAWA definitely met our expectations and then blew them away!! We planned our wedding from 800 miles away and Mark made it sooooo easy to find the people we needed to make our day perfect. Because most of the vendors know each other and work with each other on a regular basis, little planning was needed on our part. They communicated with each other which made the planning and our day so much less stressful. My husband and I will forever be grateful to the AAWA for their expertise and their role in making our day amazing!
