The staff at Sacred Heart was absolutely world class throughout my recent three day stay. I tried to keep track of everyone by name, but listing by name would inevitably leave one or more out. They were professional in every way and I felt like they were also authentically personable while attending to their various duties. With profound gratitude for a stellar experience in a stressful situation I thank the wonderful individuals in ER, CT, 6th Floor, MRI, Kitchen, TEE, and the Teledocs!

I'm supposed to make a follow up appointment with my 2 month old daughter for her skin infection. Either everyone I've talked to is either incompetent or just dumb, but they keep sending me to EVERYWHERE BUT PEDIATRICS. I've been transferred to the ER, transferred to Oakleaf... I just need to talk to someone in pediatrics so I can get her follow up done. At this point Mayo is even being more helpful than this hospital.
My Father recently had emergency open heart surgery on a weekend. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. McDonald the whole Cardiac team in the hospital and all of the nursing care. Everyone was very professional, very skilled, yet very warm and caring. They did an amazing job guiding my elderly father through a very terrifying experience! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!
It looks very nice and the updates to the hospital are great. I've had both my kids here and used to come here only. I have since switched to Mayo, but yesterday being as there was such a long wait and I was in pain for 3 days already, I went back. Not a long wait to get in but a long waiting period in the room. I had to use the bathroom, which when walking out from the urgent care to the ER, not many people it seemed so my assumption is it wouldn't be too long. My nurse checked me in and took me to the restroom and that was the last time I seen him. I ended up seeing 6 other medical people( not including the tech because my machine for measuring pulse/oxygen etc was turned off by the Dr) and I only seen these individuals one time. The Dr came in with I believe a student but not for sure as he didn't introduce the individual coming into the room with him. Very short, dismissive, and just felt they think I'm lying. Had to have a CT done, that lady was the kindest lady, made me actually feel someone cared outside my first nurse was nice too, and usually you would think the Dr would come in and discuss this scan even if there wasn't anything emergent. That was not the case, no one came in to discuss anything, besides a nurse - who has never came in there before - to discharge me. She couldn't even really answer my question except that I wasn't in an emergent state which is good of course but no further explanations, talks, plans, just a follow up with your doctor. This trip was probably well over $4k with it changing from urgent care to emergency, the blood and tests, and the CT - and all I got were 7 people whom I've seen once each time, 4.5 hours of waiting, and feeling worse than when I went in. I am still in pain, still unknown, but this trip here has made me even more reserved to go to any doctor, let alone this facility again. I am highly disappointed, upset, and feel just casted out and purposely left in the room to drain more money out of my insurance and myself.
Dr. Williams, in the ER, was by far the best doctor I have ever received care from. He not only helped me physically but he provided me sincere emotional comfort for the loss of our baby which I never received from any other health care provider. Absolutely outstanding, his words meant more than anyone will ever know.
I m currently here right now for mental health issues and I can say every nurse I ve had and doctor have been so nice it s clear the staff here go out of their way for there patients I will definitely be coming back if I need help
My mother was in for 3 weeks for various things, had a heart attack at 1 point and we were never told despite having medical poa. Not impressed with this hospital.
From the moment we walked through the door we were treated with such kindness. emergency department staff was wonderful to work with before being moved to the 5th floor where we stayed for a couple days. all of the staff that we came in contact with were just absolutely amazing. very compassionate group of men and women. i cant thank all of them enough for making our stay feel like home while we were there. i can truly tell that everyone here has a passion for what they do. thank you all so very much for everything you do.
Went in for an ultrasound sound on leg I had surgery on. They insisted I stay for pain control. Told me for 24 hours my orthopedic doctor was coming in to see me and talk about why I was in pain.
