Good services. They help with taxes for free. Checkout their website and contribute.

I used to volunteer here and I have nothing but high praise for the staff. They work hard to ensure volunteers have everything they need so the environment generates compassion and the energy to be motivated. There is something right about this place.

A great place to donate your time and lightly used clothing.

I was just there today during my lunch time from work. I had to do it during my lunch time as the office closes at 4 pm. I get off at 4:30 pm. There's only one way in, not sure if the cars lined on the street is for people who are donating or for people who are seeking assistance. The line was very slowly moving but I still stayed in line hoping I could finally drop off these coats, toys, blankets, clothes, shoes, baby stuff that have been in my car for (2) weeks now. Mind you that Goodwill is just a few blocks away from where I live but I refuse to take it there as they are for-profit organization. Saw some cars who got out of the line, thought there was a different line for cars who are actually donating but one of the volunteers refused to let me in & told me that I had to go around the block to get in. I was heartbroken as my intention was to give my stuff that are very slightly used to people who are really in need but that didn't happen today as I was shut down from doing so. So, Goodwill it is! I don't think I will come back to Sacred Heart in along time.

Great place to donate clothing or good. They give it away to the most needy in San Jose.

A good place to receive help either food or clothing, they help you with your Rent but for that they ask for many requirements and even the eviction letter in truth that is not help ahh and many people arrive without needs but I highly recommend this place

Volunteered for Pack-A-Back. The staff work so hard and are all such wonderful dedicated people. It is just such a great atmosphere and makes you feel really happy to be a part of what they're doing. I highly recommend volunteering here

They come in handy twice a month when I have no food and if you need clothes .

It was a nice experience to help fellow humans , but, parking was a bit of an issue. Have to park the car at quite some distance.

I've been an ongoing volunteer for quite some time. They own my heart Russ and Rubi are my faves!! :)

I went here for help after the death of my partner of 11 years. I'm going to lose my apartment this month and even though I have a job and am only a couple hundred short on rent they can't help me at all. I have increasing debt, almost an entire month without work and finally my car decided to die. I'm forced to lose my job and home now and I have nowhere to go...and no help from anyone...

This is one of the better resources 4 the homeless and community members so might be short on food clothing Etc. They can also help you with your PG&E bill and getting your monthly cost lower with program

It was free.
All the Volunteers were helpful.
Best place for students to file their taxes.

Completely USELESS as far as helping the truly needy!
My only visit there was a horrible mistake. Food handed out to people very sparsely!!

This is non-profit organization that provides integrated services on site, free of charge, to all in need. Features background information, services, volunteers, donations and resources

Appreciate that we have a place like this around, so many people need help whether you're barley making ends meet or homeless this place helps all that need it.

Fist fights and road rage types of criminality are frequent in their teeny parking free-for-all. Groceries meant to cover certain meals and certain nutrition is oddly shrinking over the years that I've been going. How they claim to cover certain basics is beyond me, almost pathetic now. They give gummy candy and chewing gum. Much of the produce is rotten or rotten the next day. Yesterday I got a bag filled with rotten plums -
I had to throw out the whole bag. Nice that half the workers are loving and compassionate, but sadly the other half are variously nasty. They pride themselves in feeding anyone regardless of whether they are one of America's most wanted or a foreign country's most unwanted. They pass out flyers on how to deflect legal apprehension. All in all this place is among your worst menaces!!!

Housing help is not available to those dealing with the disease of addiction.

I have to give them 5 stars for the generous service they. Provide to the community but, i have to say that the food they hand out to those in need is not too great! Most oft donated food they hand out is either expired or close to it! I van get that kind of food from a dumpster! But, can't complain about something that is free, it helps

Thank you very much for the food and the clothes, and this kiss only kind people came out and helped me a lot, other times they don't help me so much and someone gets angry for worse, and that's bad because one in the jobs more than everything has You walk the smile all the time and be very kind. Because being friendly and smiling at people is very easy and apart it doesn't cost anything.

Sacred Heart empowers people to do things they never thought they could, like gardening, finding jobs, and lifting people up!

Everyone who has been helped by Sacred Heart should be eternally grateful and pay it forward!

They are there helping the community every way possible during this pandemic.

A godsend if they weren't there to help their own I don't know what I would have done many times over! Very pleasant all the time helpful when they're not too busy of course the clothes are my back the food I eat the blankets that keep me warm and the shoes on my feet thank you Sacred Heart at Alma and Monterey God bless you thousand times over. And those are just some of my thoughts about Sacred Heart and the people that volunteer there and work there have a nice day!

I had my taxes done here twice for no charge. 2017 and 2018. They help those who have a lower income.
