The new library is pretty sweet! Wi-fi, self-checkout, study rooms, and great seating. It's pretty clean and has a great amount of community events to participate in! Aside from this, I'm a little disappointed... I like to go to the library for books and each time I've entered the doors to find a particular book... it's not there... boo! The inter-library stuff is somewhat slow, but it works. Book selection is thin, but otherwise it's a great place.

I have literally spent COUNTLESS hours inside of the 'Sacramento (Public) Law Library'. And let me say; 'WOW'. I had SO much help from those at the SLL. !! Because of 'them' & the access to a vast array of tools at ('your') disposal, I was able to obtain all information I was in need of for a particular (personal) 'case' That I had been working on. I was so grateful for the endless knowledge., in which was ever so generously shared with me., & for the resources in to which I still., - currently - make use of!. I received So much help., (huge understatement..) lol!
I'm pleased to say that the 'Sac., Public Law Library' is an amazing place & probably the FIRST place (you) should go to if you need any (relevant) information. Get the facts... Where else can you go for legal information & resources? Best & ONLY place to start., well... At least in my opinion

The civil help program, the hard part is that they only serve 3 people a day and each appointment is 50-55 minutes at 9:-10: & 11: a m, it's based on a 'lottery' system they pass out numbered cards, if they call your number you speak to them so if your issue can be resolved without an appointment, they advise you. If you need an appointment, it'll be at one of those times.
