Beautiful place great personal and beautiful rooms With a good and rich breakfast in the morning, the pretty pool, evening with normal music burning brazier makes company and towards the sunset the pond with hippos that made us smile. Beautiful and nice and if you can even see the crocodiles ... A fairy tale, with a park full of local fauna and flora,

Absolutely beautiful. Amazing holiday. Staff will go out of their way to assist. Will definitely be returning.

Sabi River Sun checks all the boxes : friendly, professional staff who's only mission was to make our stay as enjoyable as possible; lovely fresh rooms with not a glass or towel out of place; a delightful spa for totally indulgent treatments; pool-side entertainment for the kids (and parents); spoilt for choice with scrumptious breakfasts, lunches and dinners that probably added a naughty kilo or two! Best of all, this was all in the most beautiful garden setting - it was blissful reprieve from the big city madness. Did i mention the quaint little shops nearby that made for pleasant browsing, the golf course, the... actually, just do yourself a favour and check it out :))) On our way home the kids asked when we could return - now THAT'S a double thumbs-up!!

Very nice place resort are great condition. And golf course are ok.

Place is nice. I have fallen down stairs in dark due to their neglance in lighting. Resort at this point is essentually washing their hands of it. I am in a walking cast and doctor requested I be non weight bearing for at least a week. I am stuck in my room. They finally got a golf cart for day use, but not the last few hours of yhe afternoon. I can not drive now, and no way to get dinner and no one seems to care. At this point I am already out $1000 Usd or 11,500 rand and all due to their negligence. Not only that, but future prepaid reservations for mt trip here will have to be camcelled.

The place was lovely, but something could be done to give the rooms a vavavoom! The dinner menus were always nice with wide variety of foods, but not so much for breakfast. The dining room stafc was pleasant and welcoming, but the housekeeping staff not once brought an iron I requested over my stay!

Really beautiful hotel rooms ; breakfast and dinner were scrumptious and the staff I ever so friendly !

Rooms were ok, a bit squashed for a family of 4. Breakfast was enjoyable however supper left a lot to be desired.

Great place with lots to do. Has lots of natural beauty.

Amazing place for a getaway. Self-catering chalets are incredibly well kitted out. The place is quiet and quiet and with the hippo dam nearby make sure that you go in the evenings to watch the hippos leave the water. Try avoid the pizzas at the main pool, overpriced and not great at all.

I'm here since Friday, love the place, beautiful scenery. I woke up every morning to the sound of Hippo's.

Great location close to the Kruger Phabeni gate. Park run here on Saturday is a bonus. They really need to get it together to deliver take-out from the restaurant to the chalets. Fireplaces in the chalets are a cosy touch in the winter.

Lovely, centralised accommodations for visiting sites such as Bourkes Potholes, Kruger Park, African Silks etc. Fantastic to be able to sit so close to Hippos in the hippo pool in the Resort. Relaxing, comfortable chalets. Great birdlife viewing.

Beautifully maintained on thee outside. On thee other hand inside is not being cleaned or taken care of. Spider webs... Cockroaches and infested with ants all over. Dissapointing truly.

Excellent accommodation alongside Sabi River. Good facilities. Good food. Park run on Saturday.

Sabi River Sun Resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing.

What an awesome little hidden place. Golf course was in top condition. Club house was a breeze to deal with. And had a awesome swim afterword with waiter keeping your glass filled.

Lovely place, a good resort to spend days exploring Kruger Park. Great ambience, nature in abundance.

Great place. Watch out for bad golfers(most people on the course) helmet recomend. Facilities were great! Service absolutely amazing. Pool great. Hippos super to see.

Amazing Resort and great rooms. Try booking for 3 days minimum( with Saturday being one of the days) as you can appropriately relax in the resort as well as explore the diverse Savannah of the Kruger National Park.

First rate resort. Excellent accommodation and facilities. Good golf course.

This is a real gem of a resort. It's stunning. The accommodation is awesome, chalets are beautiful and well equipped. It's peaceful and serene here. Overlooking the river is a vast variety if bird species. The sounds of the bird life, the hippos, the insects are truely wonderful. Early morning walks are a must, here u can see the birds at there best.... feeding in the river bed and about there daily routine. Staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is beautifully maintained. Has a stunning 18 hole golf course in a stunning setting.

Wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the week and couldn't ask for better weather. Mostly in excellent condition. Only critic I have was that the squash court was not available due to renovations to be done (which it needed) but nothing was done during week 52? We had minor issues in the unit : the selector between bath and shower had a problem and a doorknob came of from the same bathroom. The kitchen is also a bit dated. Rest : excellent!

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The Challet was clean and neat. The staff were super friendly and proffessional. They went out of their way 2 make us feel special and not just like another number visiting the resort. Thank u

First experience in South Africa and first accommodation, excellent hospitality, beautiful rooms, a large garden and the possibility of spotting hippos and crocodiles, but watch out for golf balls !!!

What a great place to spend a week, try the curry evening on a Wednesday. Tasty and good value

Peaceful great service hippo pool awesome menus varied stunning get away 10 minutes from Kruger national park and loved the visits to the cheetah conservation park...

We ve been coming to this resort for 5 years. We Love staying at this resort as the children have a ball, we always feel so safe, the staff are honest and friendly and service is good...
... but one thing I have to coment on this time is how bad the quality of the food has been from your restaurant... we had to send 2 of our meals back to the kitchen twice!!!
.... usually we eat at the restaurant 1 or 2 times a day... this time after having 2 very disappointing meals we went and bought some very yummy meals from Shiloh coffee shop to eat and from In-Da-Belly...
We will be back in March 2019.. i really hope your food will be good again, like it was at the beginning of this year, otherwise we will not be eating at your restaurant:((( think of the money per day we will not be spending at your restaurant everyday (about R800 per day X 7).. just saying
