I made an appointment at Open Table and asked to sit outside. Upon arrival, I was told that the outdoor seating is on a first come, first served basis. It is not crowded, so we got a table we wanted. There is also a beautiful outdoor space behind. The indoor atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

It used to be a very reasonable Local eatery with very good Italian trattoria-style food. Now prices are higher but this affordable, considering other places in the neighborhood. Pastas are all excellent

I just bought some prosciutto. WOW! Just WOW! I also got their home-made sopressata, amazing. And these pepper pretzel thingys! I'm now in love with this place. Go there for all your Italian homemade needs or just to try something new!!! And the service is so great! Very nice people who work there. They gave us samples for everything we were about to order. YUM!

A true neighborhood gem! Since moving to NYC I've loved discovering real authentic Italian restaurants, and Arte Cafe is that and so much more! You feel like you're walking into your home. The staff is so inviting and the everything on the menu has been delicious. I find myself going back again and again.

somehow a place that despite decent food, a nice menu, and a good location, never seemed to gel to me. while it's definitely respectable, with interesting wine, solid small-plates, and decent deserts, i feel like it should be more than it is.

This is a very nice place to spend an hour on a coffee break. They have the kinds of coffees that would really satisfy your taste. The crew was really smiley, welcoming, and clearly very proud of the quality of their coffees and service. The place does get crowded as it s fairly small, but it s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended Arte Cafe

This place has a great ambiance, great seating, great atmosphere. The food is quality with moderate prices. Our server was great, very positive and approachable. We came here around 8:30pm on a Thursday night seated and it was only half full, so we were arrested immediately and were comfortable. The Rigatoni con Pollo was amazing.

The only negative comment I have would be about a neighboring table. This place is a nice, quiet trattoria, however there was an obnoxious table of middle aged patrons who were over jovial and shrieking randomly throughout the night. They were disturbing everyone else in the restaurant, and became defensive when approached by other patrons. They were approached by other patrons because the staff was ineffective. I'm not being upright when I say any of this, I'm 23 and none of my college parties upstate ever got this ridiculous.
