Avoid at all costs! Don't work for them, it's all smiles and no substance. The pay is low, there's no Orca cards, no PTO payout, you earn 2-hours of PTO each month and the contracts are all less than a year. Also, they cut services/"perks" during your contract and there's no there's no job search or transition assistance once your short contract is almost over. Almost everyone who supported me during my contract left within a month and the HR rep in flaky and unhelpful. The contract and onboarding is basic and misleading, so make sure you read it and ask several questions if you have to work here (please don't).

I gave Rylem 1/5 stars because they did a wonderful job and kept me in the loop at first with my recruitment to the largest e-commerce company in the US. While I worked there I injured my hands at work in their corporate department due to being over worked. I reached out to Rylem's HR department to inform them of my concern due to being over worked, it took them longer than one week and a second reminder sent on 1/22/2018 for their HR rep. to contact me on 1/25/2018 that was 3 days (72 hours) after my second reminder was sent. She sent me an email with a form to complete with my injured hands, keep in mind that I work in HR and know that the HR department has to complete these forms for an injured employee. I wasn't able to complete my for due to my injury and that it had to be documented within 72 hours of my injury. I was never able to file my L&I claim and had to resign from my work to recover.

From their CEO all the way down to their newest recruiters, the people at Rylem make you feel valued. They are quick to respond, communicate well, and have a positive attitude. Rylem also provides contractors with benefits and paid time off, which many other agencies don't offer.

I was employed by this agency and during that time, they significantly underpaid me compared to my peers and refused any requests for fair compensation. The benefits packages were worse than all other agencies as well. The CEO produced such a toxic work culture that my rep felt the need to vent his frustration to me and then quit. They were incredibly cheap while also making sure to invite me to their massive, expensive Pioneer Square office. Horrible, exploitative company

Company lied about the work that would be done in the position, lied about it being temp to permanent hire, had benefits that would only kick in after the contract period and lastly kept the Christmas bonus the company gave me and lied about forwarding it.

Wasn't even told that the whole department for the client companywas leaving the state and had to ferret out the truth. Didn't keep me in the loop and only sent over an extension until the time they would have left.

Do not trust the 5 star reviews, terrible company to work for.

They setup and interview, changed the terms of the submission the day before the interview, and then retracted the scheduled interview a hours prior before without bothering to say so and without answering emails or phone calls.

The communication between myself, first recruiter, and the rest of the team is sketchy at best and it sounded like the onsite managers were changing things around on a daily basis to look good for the client.

Just another run of the mill submission recruiter.

Rylem is a horrible place to contract through here in Seattle, WA. HR reps and Recruiters at Rylem are inexperienced and is very unsupportive when it comes to HR support. I was injured at work when employed at Rylem, they made me continue on with my shifts with my injury, and didn t want to document that I was injured in their database. I wasn t able to file a WR Injury claim and is now out of a job, and struggling to find a place to work. I will never recommend Rylem to anyone! Stay away from Rylem.
