Ryans bar Review

Really nice pub and great atmosphere and you must attend one of their quiz nights.

Outstanding food, excellent & prompt service, & my Assistance Dog was treated to her own water bowl! In US, that rarely occurs.
Sophie at Pearl Court Guesthouse recommended Ryan's.. well done!

Have to say excellent service. Ordered one burger and was given two by accident, bulking so love that. Was given free cake with a toy car that I built after my meal. Then the owner sang his own rendition of "you raise me up - by the Westlife". Truly chill sensation sensational.

Good quizes. Very very busy. Was told by one person we could move to a bigger table after the diners leave but instead another waitress brought another group over. Was very disappointing. Communication needs improved between staff.

Really nice wee luved our first day out from lockdown.

The bar was busy good atmosphere service was good upstairs but far to loud music speakers beside each other on wall did ask to turn down but said couldn't the place is a bit grubby needs deep cleaned toilets were freezing cold stairs really dirty sticky just needs TLC sorry

This is a great place to relax have a good meal and a pint. The food was better than expected and the staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the the pan fried sea bass. It is one of my favourite place as you feel comfortable with friends and as a solo traveller.

Beautiful food brilliant serves can't beat it for the price

Whilst staying nearby I popped in for a couple of beers. Great friendly staff, fantastic music and atmosphere and local drunks I couldn't understand a word that they said. It was perfect and just what I was after from a Belfast pub.

Beautiful food. Great 2 courses meal for 10er well worth going and kids under 11 go free Sat and Sun but need to book.
Good sports on big screen and very friendly and helpful staff.

Felt the starters were a little disappointing (particularly for the "famous wings"). That being said, the staff were great and the mains were superb. Some good music too! Torn between 4/5 stars and feel on balance the 5 is deserved

Great food, pleasant atmosphere, very nice waitress!

Really enjoyed my meal here, wish we d found it earlier in our trip. Also enjoyed the pub quiz we did downstairs after we had eaten.

Great wee spot on the Lisburn Road. Good selection of beer on tap. Snacks available from the bar. Excellent food. Good meal deals on Sunday.

When we arrived there were about 6 men sitting just outside the entrance smoking.

Upstairs the restaurant told us they had no tables but that we could order from the same menu downstairs in the bar.

Downstairs we waited to be seated or at least greeted at the bar for at least 5 minutes. My wife saw a waitress at a table and the waitress offered a table that had to be cleared. The same bartender that had ignored me then cleared that table, again without greeting.

We sat down but left after another 10 minutes when no one came to take our order. And we could smell the cigarette smoke from outside.

We left Ryan's through the smokers, went across the street to Amici's and had a nice dinner.

Was superb food ans dessery and was at a bargain as it only costs 10 quid for 2 courses. The only bad side was the main course wasnt filling but that was down to the chicken tempura course that I ordered. Would highly recommend however as other food like the fish and chips is big and saves you a good bit of cash.

Has went to the dogs wont be back in a hurry would not recommend it i was in at lunch time there was four people in for food says it all

Food was good and value for money, no baby changing facilities.

A smell made our visit not so pleasant. Nice guy in the bar though.

Very friendly service and the food is tasty if your happy for it to be cooked from frozen. Although saying that the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Nice interior but the toilets are a bit whiffy.

What a place. Food was immense, couldn't get a table when we showed up unannounced but the manager insisted we waited 20 mins and he put us in the most perfect spot. We will most certainly be back. Thank you for the welcome.

Staff stressed to the max on sunday 20th jan 2019 not busy and seemed under staffed or very disorganised

Real gem of a bar and restaurant in Belfast! Have had my own and friends birthdays here, food is always delicious and such good value! Staff always super lovely and great cocktails

Wings and caesar salad was amazing for starter. The battered haddock and chips was one of the nicest fish and chips ive ever had. The waiter was brilliant super friendly and was able to have a laugh with us throughout the whole meal. Would 100% recommend!!

The food was lovely, I really thought it was great Ryan's was a lovely restaurant but I would appreciate a more vegan menu available

Ate in Ryan's bar for the fist time at the start of August, the food was great and the staff was AMAZING, our lady waiter went over and above for our 6 year old out for her birthday tea. When she told her she loves animals she took the time to tell her about her time looking after wildlife in Africa. I highly recommend Ryan's Bar

The burgers are really good, also the veggie version. Nice place for dinner.

Great place to have dinner/drinks. The menu had 2 courses for 10. Fun atmosphere. Very satisfying.

Lovely food and staff. Great that the kids can eat for free on a Saturday and Sunday. Good value menu too.
