Lord shiva turns scars into stars ... Blessed after visiting this place.

When I was in school days, I visited this place. I want to visit this place since I am in Bengaluru. Why are they charging entry fee to the temple ? Please give me some more info on that..

Solely for the purpose of getting money this is constructed

This temple management demands money as entry fee which is really worst, not recommended to make rich for such management.

Amust visit temple in Bangalore. Take the premium ticket to close go inside

Not to be called as temple. Each and every place they demand money

1. It's not a temple .
2. It's a filmy like setting and looks more like a science fair.
3. It's completely commercial and you need to pay 150 for an individual as an entrance fee . They call it dharshan fee and special dharshan is also available which is not at all required .
4. Very artificial ambience

So on the whole it's a visiting place like you visit any museum or so . Not a devotional place .

Rs.50 is the ticket price if you want to enter the cave and avoid all the pujas.

3star is for Siva Idol, too much robbing inside, 100rs for VIP entrance, plus extra 20rs entrance ticket for next to ganesh Idol, 20rs entrance ticket to see shiva Idol (mandatory they said). Why don't they put one single ticket.

A nice temple with a huge statue of Lord shiva..good ambiance

It is good temple of mahadev..there is big statue of God Shivji..

Best place for refresh our mind in SHIVOHAM SHIVA TEMPLE

Visit the place as a museum rather than as a place of worship. Entry fee per person is Rs 50/-.

Many up and down tunnels takes you past Twelve Jyothirlinga places and chardham places.

The entry is through side of the Mall near basement

The route of cave goes around the inner open area. The central open area has an enormous statue of Shiva in meditation position. Whit Shiva is illuminated during night

There is a wish pond in front of Shiva.

At night, bhajans are conducted in central area.

As of dec 2016 entry fee to templee is150/- per head. Looting money...

Nice to visit big statue of Lord Shiva. Don't take ticket, If you want to see only statue of Shiva.

It's commercial place. When they have alreaey mentioned free entry and special darshan separate they say no free entry and purposefully ask to purchase ticket 250 on first desk, afterwards they have one more desk where they will give option for normal darshan ticket cost 150 and when we asked what about free first they will not say anything and then they said you can enter but can't see the cave.

Very powerful temple and soo much peace in watching the idol

Very well decorated and divine place. But administration staff is too misguiding regarding tickets. They mislead you to buy highly priced tickets and have VIP darshan even when temple is free of any queue. You can have darshan of ice linga and jyotirlingas at 50rs whereas they will forcefully make you to pay 250 RS per head. Be careful of that.

Shiva is not there,only a statue and some management,who unscrupulously exploit people in the name of GOD.This is totally a commercial place. 150 Rs entry fee.Go Watch a good movie instead.

This is not a temples but a statue made for a commercial purpose

We have a wonderful day at shivalayam we have a feeling that we have been there in all the places

We went to the place where the Lord Shiva statue is built it is the biggest statue in Asian continent the entry tickets are so high and we went for free tickets so we visited Les places for special entry minimum 500 per head is required for visiting all the places inside the Shivan temple.

Very bad experience, its temple but too commercial, at the entrance only they demand money to enter even they have written free entrance, when i went it was 250 for special darshan and 150 for same but normal darshan, they give some tickets for that amount like to do abhisheka, agarbatti then to enter a cave which they have made which is not so great, something things like that. Since its temple its devotees wish to donate money here people manipulate us to take ticket forcefully if you refuse they tell something and all and make you feel like, if you don't purchase its end. By the way ticket rate is per head. I dint felt divine feel inside, maybe due to quarrelling with management guyz. I dint pay anything i said them i just want to see god dont want anything, with a big angry face they allowed me inside.

There is a general entry available free of cost, in case you do not wish to spend 150 per person.

If there was an option for no star I would have willingly rated it as such. Not worth visiting as one feels cheated when the so called temple is made with the intention of making money. There's an entry fee and one has to pay up forcibly for the darshan. Too commercial. Better to avoid

Way too costly out here..management trick people n make your existence even more costlier at the venue

Buying tickets worth 250/- and 150/- is not mandatory..

Management will continuously tell you the buy the tickets.. I felt like I am passing through a group of thief s...

Shiva statue is good and worth seeing but worst management.. I did not feel I have came to a devotional place becoz of looting money from people..

150/- entry fee. Really ???? You mean really ?? Isn't worth though. Completely commercial temple i have ever seen. They are not even close to the spiritual temple mimicking.

Giving 5 stars for beautiful Lord Shiva statue and a beautiful heavenly place..

This doesn't look like pilgrimage and it is more business like collecting money for each and every activity..

This is a business center not a Temple. Avoid visiting.

Lovely place. But, administration is after money...

Mandir is really good. Must visit place, the Shiva murti is so mesmerizing and huge. Just beware of greedy and scammer people of the temple. They will never tell you that darshan is free in mandir , they will start from a minimum price for this and that. Otherwise must visit with family.

Very commercial place (entry fee - 100 for the Shiva and Ganesh statue; 150 - for statues and 12 Lingas) I did not feel like i was at a temple. At every point, for any pooja, we need to pay. Some of the staff is impolite as well. Would never visit this place again.

Money looting they will tell that ticket is compulsory but for darshan it is not compulsory only for cave it is there so beware don't pay tham any money. Place is awesome

No one should be forced to worship until they want to it is Rs.150 which you're paying for nothing except taking lots of photos from your mobile which don't have any restrictions here.

please don't forget to collect Shivoham CD while exit at least that compensate for what you paid

Lord Shiva statue gives peace, but the temple management leave no stone unturned to loot you. It seems management uses the name of Lord Shiva only to loot the devotees. At every step they try to extract money from devotees.

Very bad, staff create artificial rush by holding the general dharshan. Force public to go for special dharshan which cost 250/- bugs. Please don't fall prey to it. While the meditating shiva looks magnificent... The process to workiship hi. Is tooooo artificial and commercialised.. Looks the staff would be paid only if more public visit the temple through special dharshan.. Very sad state.. Hope Management of the temple relook and do as a Service pls...

Devotionally no attatchment...Work inside temple is good...only temple which has no free darahan..

I thought it is Holly place but it seems commercial place

Nice place, little commercialized but really gives a good praying atmosphere amidst the city crowd. I really wonder how they are able maintain such a big place amidst the center of the city. I really appreciate the management for administering it so well.
