Please don't be fooled by taking tickets, entry is completely free but at the entrance they will force you to take tickets by saying it is mandatory. So please beware of this fraud. Temple is good.

Very good temple but crowd mangement is worst. They are not bothered about what ppl wants. Very beautiful lord shiva statue is there. But to see him you have to face lot of difficulties on shivratri day. Which is not fair... I have enjoyed temple only once i saw lord Shiva... Hara hara mahadev... Please improve ppl mgt...

Awesome atmosphere!!! Gets crowded during Shiv Ratri. There are various categories of tickets but you can take the minimum cost one to see and experience Shiva. Higher cost tickets provide additional service of priestly rituals which you can avoid.

The people of this place are just into money making business. I wasn t knowing they charge 150 bucks as Entry fees which is general entry and 250 bucks for Special entry. I felt like they are more interested in the money than the real prayers. After paying the entry fees they gave me a ticket were few programs were mentioned. After entering, few stops are there where you need to show the tickets and do particular prayings where also the donation boxes were there. You need not to give any donation there out of your will. Yes, if you are willing to then you go ahead. I went in afternoon so the floors were quit hot and because my footwear was kept outside it was very uneasy to walk in few areas. So I suggest better go either in morning time or in evenings. Anyway the statue of Lord Shiva was worth seeing. And that was the only part I liked after I entered. I would have loved the place if the temple people were not into business and more about holy rituals.

Very nice place but is a mirror to commercialized site in the name of religion. If you pay more, they will make you do many stuffs in the name of God like chanting Lord's name, some threads and all will be given.
Simply making money in the name of God

If you visit around 7.30am, they will open only basement door and made compulsory to pay 150 per person. No Free Entry before 9am. Guy will not tell there is general entry which is free. There charging for special entry 250 rupees. Came back without Darshan as guy intention was not good at the entrance.

This type of temples are meant only to loot money from devotees!
Every step 30-40 Rs.. Entry fees 150/-
Lord Shiva statue is huge which looks good and attractive, main attraction to loot money! It's more like exhibition than temple.
I wanted to take rounds around Navagraha, they asked 25/-

I would suggest Gavi Gangadhareshvara temple,(Banashankari) if you really want to take Darshan of Lord Shiva.. It's ancient and has a fantastic history. A sunray falls right on Shiva-Linga on an auspicious day once in an year.. It's amazing how a sunray reaches inside cave through walls of cave..

This is most pathetic seight seeing place I have visited. I would not recommend this for some one having faith in Shiva. Please beware of the management and ticket collectors they just loot you in name of faith. There is no free darshan of the statue.. you need to pay 100+ Indian rupees for darshan. This institution is a shame in name of faith and religion. The attitude of the staff members is very harsh as well.
May Almighty give then eternal peace.
Har har maahadev.

A must visit in Bangalore in the evenings. Because the huge statue of Lord Shiva looks so beautiful in the evening with all the lights on it. But don't fall prey for the commercial poojas they offer.
