Overall experience was average, for the price I feel like the steak should ve been a better quality. A medium rare to me was cooked medium well. My water glass ran empty twice and was unable to find a server for several minutes.

Not my best dinner at Ruth Chris. We were seated on the spot and ordered martini right away. It took over 35 min to get that drink along with that wait for 2 bottles of wine. Dinner was mediocre. Nothing to brag about. Unfortunately we were super excited to come here and super disappointed.

We are at the Ruth Chris s inside the embassy suit...

We are at the Ruth Chris s inside the embassy suites in Atlanta Georgia. The dinner was ok. We orders 2 filets , Cesar salad , creamed spinach. Total $130.00 plus tip

Our Order was to go we got back upstairs. Opened the containers. We ordered the steaks medium but we re given well done and heavily charred.
We took the food back down stairs and explained the situation. The manger fixed it and and had new steaks prepared.

Steak was good but under cooked. I asked if I can get a steak sandwich waiter said I ll have to move to a booth 15 over to Oder this meal. I was confused why I couldn t get a meal prepared in the same kitchen and brought to me. I dont like sitting in the bar area with my wife and kids. The reason I m giveing 3 stars not one is because the food was still good but over priced for sure.

Planned a surprise birthday party for my husband (May 14). Reserved two tables of 8 several weeks in advance. Received a phone call the day prior to confirm our reservation. The restaurant accommodated our party of 15 effortlessly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We were able to bring our own birthday cake. The brought the cake to the table with candles and plates to serve. The only complaint I have is that one table was almost finished with their meals before the other time had gotten their dinners. Other than that it was a good experience.

I've been coming here for a while now. Their staff is super friendly and their food takes a bit longer than usual; however, it does not skip on taste or flavor. Their food is superb and cooked just right.

Dined at Ruths Chris Marietta Street Atlanta Ga 6:00pm July 5th 2019. I m guessing the good staff were off for the July 4th Holiday because our waiter was M.I.A. I understand poor, non-service, at the all you can eat Chinese buffet but Ruths Chris?
We spent over $400 at our table and had to beg for drinks, beg for bread, the salads were swimming in dressing, no water service, bills were in correct, super slow getting all courses.
The steak quality was excellent! The sides when we did finally receive what we ordered was very good.
The place was maybe half full with patrons. I now understand why.

There are many top caliber streak houses to choose from in Atlanta. Great service separates the excellent dinning experience from the average restaurant meal.

Service was good but our friends dining with us lamb chops where a bit over cooked she did ask for them to be well done but they where dry and a bit burnt....also my side of broccoli was not even room temp when it was served to me..the waiter did try to rectify the problem...but nothing I would expect from this caliber of a restaurant!!!!

Sunday at noon and management decided to take away the lunch menu for the day. Dinner menu only they said. Don t really understand the logic behind that, but I m not interested a a $100 steak for a quick lunch.

I was invited to dinner with family to celebrate a...

I was invited to dinner with family to celebrate a birthday. We had reservations although I don't know why it was needed as the restaurant was kind of empty. We arrived shortly before our reserved time of 6pm so we had to wait for a few minutes. We were seated in the dining room near the open kitchen section at a large table. A family member was not comfortable sitting there so we had to find the hostess and request another table. Her response was that she had to make sure it was ok with the server that we initially had because we would be changing sections. Hmmmm how is that on us? No one wants to sit next to the kitchen of a nearly empty restaurant.

We were moved to another table across the room. Our server James introduced himself and finally we were introduced to Ruth Chris. None of us had ever been there before. The server James is exceptional. He has a very calm and humble demeanor. He is also amazingly knowledgeable of the restaurant. He advised us what the special drink was for the day and any specials they had on Sunday.

His attention to detail on the table was impeccable. He did not let any crumbs stay on the table literally. One of the steaks was ordered medium well but it came to the table as medium. The server brought a sizzling plate of butter to the table and instructed my cousin to move the steak onto the hot plate. When transferred the steak actually cooked at the table. We were all impressed. It was a wonderful experience after the table episode. I would recommend the restaurant.

Wanted to let management know Meghan, Scott and team provided superb service to our table this evening. Meghan might be new to Ruth s Chris, yet her attention to detail and attitude made our evening very pleasant. The pork chops and filets were cooked exactly the way we expected. Thank you for excellent and fun service. Made our experience tonight much more than just another night out. We will be back.

Ordered the bone in ribeye pittsburgh seared rare and my date ordered the bone in filet medium.rare. Both steaks came out over cooked. My steak was medium and hers was medium to medium well. I sent the steak back and less than one minutes after he took my steak my other steak was coming to the table. It was very obvious the cook already knew it wasn't right but sent it out anyways. Well the steak that came out had no seasoning and was very bland which ended up having to get steak sauce just to eat. $300 spent, worst dinner ever and a highly upset date ruined the night. This place is a joke and is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I've had fast food better than this "5 star" restaurant. Word of advice if you plan on going DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Unfortunately did not have a good experience with my mom and 5 year old daughter. We were in a pinch to have a nice dinner and it was starting to get a little later. I figured we would still have a lovely experience because Ruth s Chris has a great reputation and I ve had amazing dining experiences at other RC locations. That was totally wrong. We waited over 2 hours for our food. Our waitress took about an hour getting to our table but sent another server to get our drink orders. Why she didn t trade at that point I have no idea. It was a busy night but at that price point there is no excuse for really bad service and terrible food. We ordered my daughter a cheddar grilled cheese sandwich off the kids menu. She s a picky eater and only likes cheddar cheese. The sandwich they brought her had velveeta. Why not call it a Velvetta sandwich? Once we finally ordered we waited forever for our food. Twice I asked the server for more bread. She never brought it. Asked the server who helped deliver our food for bernaise sauce. That never game. Then my medium rare steak and lobster arrived. Both were extremely under cooked! My steak was literally ALIVE. The lobster tail had caked on seasoning (probably a cover for poor quality/cooked food) and tasted slimey. Our server made her way back to us about 30 minutes later and I told her my food was raw. She insisted on taking it back to recook but I asked her nicely to take it off the check. My mom was kind enough to split half her steak while we sat there for 30 minutes and it was 2+ hours we d been sitting there. The server was rude about taking my meal off the menu. At the end a very socially awkward manager came by to ask about our experience. I m assuming he heard I d returned my food. I politely said that it wasn t quite up to par to which he awkwardly dismissed and walked away. It was so bizarre! What was the point of that?! In the end we still paid a $160 bill for the worst dining experience. Very disappointing! Would not ever recommend and don t plan to ever go back.

Very delicious! This is my husband's favorite steak house. We typically eat here on his birthday. Steaks are served on a 500 degrees plate and sides are alacarte. Potato augratin are a must and the brussel sprouts are amazing.

There were the worst Ruth s Chris ever. The
food was ok but the service absolutely awful.
Our server Randy only came to check on us once during the entire visit & there was only about 5 families in the restaurant. Also we didn t even get the desert that was included in our order. After waiting for someone to check on us for about 30 minutes after we finished eating he came and asked if we were ready for our check. My husband asked about the desert we ordered and the server said it s on the way, we put it in the to go . Really ? We ended up just paying and leaving because we didn t have another hour to waste while waiting. What if this was special day good thing we went there just to eat . No thank you Atlanta Ruth Chris .

Staffed by thieves.
I left my sweater there by mistake very late in the evening. No other patrons would have been seated after our group left. My sweater was black and no one could have seen it on the chair in the corner in the darkened room.

Called the next day and manager said they found my sweater and I could pick it up at hostess stand. When I walked back to the restaurant in the cold weather to retrieve my sweater ,hostess said a man had already picked it up. I explained that no one else knew I left my sweater so no one I knew would have picked it up. Manager then came out and said that the sweater picked up was another sweater. He said he would check with cleaning crew to see if they picked it up but they would place found items in the safe and no sweater was in the safe. I asked if he had security cameras and he said yeas and he would review them to see if staff took sweater. He took my info and said he would mail sweater to me if they located it

Thief had to be an employee or member of cleaning crew.

If sweater is ever recovered I will update this review but I am not hopeful.

I tried placing an order for pickup as I used to do often at the one in Buckhead and the old Sandy Springs location. However they have decided to not take pickup orders at this one unless you go through DoorDash etc.. So not only do you have to order off the more expensive delivery menu same food higher prices, you must also pay the order fee even though your picking up! This is absolutely outrageous! So Ruth Chris has placed a $10.00+ surcharge on all pickup orders. Now all customers picking up orders will pay 25%-40% extra than what you pay dining in. Even though it s less work and service processing pickup orders. There is no waiting on the customer for an hour just give them the food and they go. I will not patronize anymore, what a pathetic money grab!

The breakfast is pretty terrible, I don't know what circle of hell they get those eggs from but it must be pretty deep. That being said, the Lunch and dinner is about what you'd expect, slab of meat cooked pretty well and decent vegetables. The dessert is pretty fantastic but where this place really shines is as the hotel room service. Getting a nice slab of salmon with some mashed potatoes and cheesecake after a long day on the trade show floor while you kick back with some HBO is great.

For the overpriced food ($12.50 for a side of broccoli?!), service was weak and the waiter was very ambivalent. No silverware or napkins at the table. I have wanted to try Ruth's ever since Rush talked about then and had them as a sponsor decades ago...thought the steak would be unparalleled. I was sadly not impressed. Had better steak at Fogo and also Texas Roadhouse at MUCH less cost. Perhaps this was just the downtown ATLANTA location. My recommendation...skip the cost and only mediocre at best service.

Today was a wonderful eating experience. The steak was tender, tender, tender and juicy. The grilled salmon was flaky and the bread pudding with whisky sauce was awesome! My mother and I enjoyed our dining experience THANKS to our waiter Dexter. He was great! Also, THANKS to Joseph EMS for the gift cards to this wonderful restaurant. We will be back!

Excellent Food & Service! The hostess name Majestic was extremely nice and professional while our server James was an absolute joy! Went to use a gift card. All tables were full and I was by myself, so I grabbed a table in the bar. I was quickly greeted by my server. He answered my questions. They did not have any 2.5 pound lobsters due to Covid, but had tails and chunks for the lobster mac&cheese.
I ordered a 16 ounce New York Strip steak cooked medium-rare, plus an accompaniment of six large grilled shrimp, and a side of lobster mac&cheese. It was served in about ten minutes. The food runner warned me that the plate was hot to keep the steak warm. It was cooked perfectly, and the plate was HOT.
I only had one shrimp and owards the end of the meal I did not realize that the shrimp had been undercooked on one side. I alerted the manager and he offered to have the kitchen finish cooking them. I said it was no big deal, as I was taking the rest home and I would throw them in a skillet to finish cooking them when I reheated the food the next day. He insisted and had the kitchen cook another six for me to take home with the rest of my food and when he brought them out, he checked to make sure they were cooked all the way thru. They brought me boxes to package up the leftovers and a brown bag.
I planned it perfectly and with tax it used up the entire gift card. It took them a minute to process the card and finally brought me my bill. I tipped my server in cash and that thanked them for the great food. They invited me to return soon.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse has remained an exceptiona...

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse has remained an exceptional restaurant over the years. This particular location is beautiful, a great place to celebrate a special occasion. However, I think Ruth's Chris is suffering from a bit of franchise fatigue. The menu items were clearly selected by an incredible chef, but the execution is somewhat lackluster relative to my expectation for such a nice restaurant. The lobster mac&cheese looks amazing, and is pretty good, but has room for improvement. The lobster was rubbery and the cheese could afford to be browned a little. My steak was nice, a huge porterhouse, but had some technical issues as well. It needed a harder sear, and a classic mistake was made in having the Filet side overcooked and the strip side undercooked. Additionally the waitstaff at this location seems undertrained and further undermines Ruth's Chris' effort to be a standout restaurant. I think a little bit of training and investment in both the kitchen and waitstaff could really elevate the total experience.

This was my first time at Ruth Chris. I enjoyed my food. Overall great experience.

I didn t like that my table cloth was visibly ripped and it was still placed on a table when it should have been disposed of.



My ribeye was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I will go back again.
