New to the area, we went to dinner here and were able to experience wonderful service and delicious food! I was surprised to see quail, elk, bison, ostrich on the entree menu but opted for a bit more familiar dishes. The waitstaff was very professional and attentive. We appreciated the ciabatta bread that came with olive oil & balsamic, good wine, great calamari, and definitely get the pistachio cheesecake :) still full...

The service at Rustico Italiano is amazing. The owner is pleasant and willing to help you decide on the vast choices on the menu. The salads are fresh and a good portion, the pastas are delectable, and the deserts are absolutely delicious. Everything tastes homemade.
We came on a Saturday night about 8:40pm with no reservations and got seated in about 15minutes. Service was impeccable and the food was fresh made. The braised braised wild boar shank was tender, tasty, and came with homade ravioli in a mushroom sauce. A cozy and romantic atmosphere.
I tried the place was very good im italian so not many places impress me but I must say the food was very good the service was excellent the owner was very friendly I would definitely go back the place is small so call ahead the pasta is homemade and the sauces very fresh...definitely worth the trip but bring you wallet prices a little high..but like all things in life you get what you pay for!!!
Just the best! Nino is a wonderful host and makes you feel at home. Food is excellent.. Wine list could use some work. Ask Nino.. He'll find something special in the back room! Don't miss this one....call in advance and he'll make what you want! Mine is Chicken cacciatore!!!
Unfortunately my experience was not positive. First, the white wine special was available but not actually available because no one had chilled it. Then the waiter rattles off a half dozen specials in accented English that none of our group of four understood. Of course, no prices for the specials were offered. Salad was fine. Entres were delivered by the non waiter who called out the dish and the person had to say: that's mine! For a $125 meal you might think they had a clue. I ordered the sausage cacciatore. I like salt, always add it to meals; but this was salt on steroids. Why didn't I give it back? Well, after the non waiter brought the meals, we never saw a service person again. I ate the distasteful dish. Coffee was nice and I did like the steamed milk they served instead of cold milk. Tartufo desert was good. When we left no one said thank you or good bye. Well, good bye.
If you go looking for a place confluence of people and noise this is not the place. This is familiar, pleasant, but mostly charming. The food is homemade, squid with very good doneness and divine sauces. I had no chance to try the carpaccio or octopus or the Osso. But all who share table, we were eight to be more precise, we left quite satisfied. Le courtesy of employees and their attention, first class. And the great deserts to close a memorable dinner. Obviously, we repeat, and soon.
Our Airbnb was close by, so we decided to try this place. The BEST pasta & Italian I ve ever had besides in Italy. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I will we lived here, so I could eat here every day!!!
I really enjoyed this dinner. The food is very good, the wine is too expensive but good too. The service was messy but he restaurant was packed tonight and it was unexpected to have so many clients during summer. The team did its best so we had a great dinner. I will go again and recommend it !
arrived promptly for 7:30 reservation for 4. Initial experience great, served water, bread, menus right away. Service seriously deteriorated from there. Ordered 3 appetizers one of which never arrived. After our orders were taken no water refills, had to go get a waiter. Original waiter did not bring the wine we ordered and did not point out the substitution. It was a good wine, but we had to bring to his attention, no explanation. Never any apology for the omitted appetizer. Had to ask more than once (by now we were there over an hour and a half and we were seeing tables who came in long after us getting entrees) what happened to ours. However when the food finally came out it was excellent. Original waiter in this process abandoned us and we had to guess for the most part who to ask for service. If they can fix the service issues we would go back for the food, but not otherwise. It really detracts from the dining experience. Also normally in this type of restaurant we would be offered something complementary to make up for the problems, which we were not. Could not really identify a front of the house manager to address things. Overall, not more than a 3 star experience, and only because of the food, otherwise it would be a zero.
Fantastic surprise! The staff was very friendly and made several terrific recommendations - shrimp risotto and the fennel, artichoke, and mushroom appetizer dishes were amazing! Glad to have tried it and look forward to our next meal there!
WOW. Five stars isn t enough for this fantastic restaurant. We visited recently while on vacation and were blown away by how delicious it was. We have actually been to southern Italy and eaten in restaurants on Capri and this is absolutely every bit as good. The service and ambiance were wonderful too. Highly, highly recommend. Now we are sad that we live 10 hours away!
Don t be fooled. After giving the restaurant a second chance I have to give one star. It is overpriced for thequality. The sauce tasted like it was from a can.
This is certainly one of the finest place in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am profoundly happy. They preserve their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You surely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.
Amazing food and service..highly recommend. I had the homemade pasta with broccoli rabe, sausage, olive oil and garlic. Buenesimo knock out chocolate cake and cappuccino for dessert. I was really surprised how good the cappuccino was. PERFECT. (Try the lemon cake too).
Went here on a whim in hopes of half decent Italian food. What a disappointment. Their small portions mixed with basic watered down sauces, made the fact that their prices are so high that much worse. Somehow, considering how small the place is, they mixed up tables regularly. If you want this quality of Italian food without the price, go to the olive garden. At least at olive garden you know the terrible quality to expect.
Good food. Good service. Not so good wines. Use your phone calculator. Carefully review the hand written check. It is regularly overstated by $10-$20. Thus the 1 star.
This is got to be our favorite place ! My entire family have been going to Rustico Italiano for many years and is always the best from the minute they open the door and welcome you with open arms to the last thing .... limoncello.... I highly recommend this jewel of Italian dining experience....cheers ! Salud!
I WENT TO DINNER, AND WAS DELIGHTED OF THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING MY FAVORITE DISH WAS VEAL SHANK OSSOBUCO WAS VERY TENDER AND DELICIOUS i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS.
Excellent service, the ambiance is comfortable but lovely and the food is absolutely delicious! I m sure anyone would enjoy it whether they are vegan or not.
Rustico is a gem. Nino is a terrific host and chef who has put together an outstanding and authentic Italian menu. It has become a most favored, special restaurant to my wife and me. While we usually order the fresh pastas and seafood, in many visits have never been disappointed by anything we have tried. The dishes rival the best Italian food you can find in the northeast, and it is always worth saving room for the desserts. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with a nice atmosphere and background music. Nino always greets us at our table, making us feel like old friends. The service is always terrific and unhurried, and whenever we take our seat, the tensions of the day just wash away - and we know we'll be in good hands for as long as we stay!
IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN TO ITALY, RUSTICO ITALIANO WILL TAKE YOU THERE!! Had read so many reviews so we decided to try this place. It was as good, if not better, than the reviews. Having been to Italy, and consider ourselves "food snobs", we never expected the flavors we tasted and the ambiance. Italian pasta made al dente as we ordered was delicious. The ossobuco fell off the fork and melted in your mouth. Wines galore, although I prefer housewines . Not disappointed. Desserts aplenty and to top it all, You really feel the charisma of Italians serving you in a beautiful romantic setting. A MUST!!
This is probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to! They have a huge selection of wine and their dishes are delicious and authentic. To top it off, their customer service is the best; genuine and accommodating! I can t wait to go back!
PS- Give gift cards to this restaurant to everyone you know! They will be so well taken care of.
Great atmosphere, Rustico Italiano is a true Italian experience in the heart of Lake Worth. I had the risotto with porcini mushrooms, to die for. Staff is very attentive, the owner Nino takes care of everybody with great professionalism. Definitely the place to go when in this area.
