I was going to give this place 4 stars, because I have two small gripes about the place. However seeing some snowflakes blow the "cash only" and parking situations WAY out of proportion compared to the high quality of the food, you guys get the 5th star.
Yes, this is a BUSY place, with LIMITED parking that is cash only. Deal with it. It is BUSY because it is one of the best little sandwich shops on that side of the island. Parking is limited because North Wildwood likes small roads and parking meters. Cash only? Annoying, get a Square reader or something, but not the end of the world, all of human history existed without credit cards until about 30 years ago.
My go-to? Get a cheesesteak. And plan about 25 minutes.

The guy with the bandana and nose ring has to have the most personality I've ever seen. He should have more face time with the public because he just seems to light up a room. I'd like to mention that the guy with the nose ring is NOT writing this review, just a big fan. He's extremely attractive and makes the absolute best buffalo chicken cheesesteak on the island. Great job, Russo's Market!

Maybe it's just my preference, but Russo's does literally the best plain cheesesteak I've ever had, anywhere. The bread is fresh, the meat is well-chopped and cooked just right, the cheese is on point, and there are no telltale-low-class empty pockets at the ends of the sandwich. A Wildwood summer vacation highlight.

Excellent food, excellent quality and consistent. Like so many others, I have been going to Russo s for many many years because it consistently offers quality food, a fast friendly staff and it is spotless.
I am thankful that they are still here every year. They are tough to beat.

I haven't been there recently, however we have been longtime summer Customers for over 30 years. The food is excellent. They make the best hogies, breakfast sandwiches, pies and puddings. Salads and everything is always fresh everyday. They also have a small grocery section for all your last minute needs. The food is a little pricey, but worth every penny. North Wildwood isn't North Wildwood with out Russo's. If you've never been there it's a must stop in, even if it's only for a bagel or coffee. I guarantee it will be worth the trip and in summer the wait. Best to call ahead in the summer. Highly recommend it for over 30 years. It just keeps getting better. They keep adding items to the menu! Go Now! Fri Sat & Sun this time of year.

Tried them out and got steaks and they were awesome . Very tender meat, juicy steak, and primo baked bread. The previous reviews steered me to an amazing place that is super clean and busy with Happy customers. The Italian meats and sides looked really really good too. Highly recommend this establishment.

You can't go to Wildwood without going to Russo's. It's this tiny little convenience store that has most of the normal stuff you'd expect, and a lot of NJ-specific and/or eccentric stuff you wouldn't. We got breakfast sandwiches and burritos here and, even three hours later when we finally got to them, we were super impressed! So tasty and clearly using high-quality ingredients. I will definitely go back next time i'm in Wildwood!

This is my favorite place in North Wildwood unfortunately open only in warm weather. Nice employees, plenty of groceries and takeout items all in a spotless store. Everything you need for a quick food fix is here. The have fresh butcher meats like steaks and chicken cutlets. They have a deli for delicious subs made with good bread and quality cold cuts. This little store has everything from pudding, potato salad, drinks, packaged snacks to kids toys. Everything you need for a day at the beach will be found here.

The reason why I will travel out of my way to visit Russo s is the Philly Cheesesteaks. A large one is 22 inches of tasty madness. Great meat on excellent bread with the right amount of cheese gives me the perfect food comma. I prefer mine with peppers and onions. Just thinking about this makes my mouth water and wish for warm weather.
