There are wonderful youth programs through Rum Runner and the staff and owners go out of their way to ensure that everyone is comfortable with their diving abilities and that everyone follows safe diving practices. I am very impressed with the service at Rum Runner! I've made several purchases there and they truly stand behind their products! I purchased a dive light from Rum Runner and when I had problems with it they offered to return my money, give me a new light or use the original purchase price towards and upgrade. They did not even ask me how long it had been since I bought the light. I've also had dive equipment serviced there which they completed in a timely manner and charged reasonable fees for the service.
SCUBA is affordable, fun, and life-changing at Rum Runners right here in Winterville/Greenville! Don't wait for the world to change - go change yourself and get underwater! After just a few classes, you get to dive with your instructor at a nearby quarry with crystal-clear water (this is a photo of my first dive!). Classes are conveniently held in the evening, and you can just show up - everything you need from gear to online materials to insurance is provided as part of the class (with a rebate towards the purchase of your own gear).

Go to a "Try SCUBA" event at Rum Runners in the warm pool at Aquaventure to see if it is for you before you sign up for certification. You can gain familiarity, comfort, and certification quickly and safely at Rum Runners, but most of all you can gain an accomplishment for yourself, opening the door to a whole new world.
Great experience. My child and I did the try dive class. Fantastic way to get an intro to scuba diving. The dive master / instructor was great, the staff courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this place!
Rum runner dive shop is a must. They offer a wide range of classes. My family tried a class to get the feel of scuba and staff was very knowledgeable and professional. It was a great introduction to scuba. They also have a wide range of gear for sale and rent as well and a shop for repair of your gear. They are wonderfull staff
Great dive shop with knowledgeable, friendly staff that help you with everything diving. They offer on site activites & lessons using a dive pool and have classroom instruction as well. Wonderful people work here who really go out of their way to help you.

Our three boys have been part of the Rum Runner family for 4 years. Each one has had a great experience from the instructors to the dive locations. Safety comes first, but they make sure you enjoy the experience. What a great set up with a dive pool on the premises! They also carry everything you may need at reasonable prices. They go above and beyond inspiring everyone to learn about and protect the environment. Rum Runners has the whole package!

Rum Runner Dive Shop is amazing!! I absolutely love the staff and all that they offer. I was a part of the first all female open water dive class and it was a blast! I can t imagine being certified through any other dive shop.
Rum Runner offers so many great opportunities whether it be a trip to Florida, or their annual quarry day. Every trip is full of adventure! I never imagined I d be diving to the bottom of a fresh water spring in Florida, or swimming with the manatees.
