Rum Jungle Bar & Restaurant Review

We got an Island Breeze, a Mango Raspberry Tart, a Coffee Crunch, and an Aloha fruit bowl- all were delicious! Lots of options for all the west coast health nuts- kombucha on tap, acai bowls, pitaya, greens, medicinal herbs, protein, coconut water, fresh fruit, and of course, smoothies. There are food options like sandwiches, salads, bowls, and wraps as well- with some spicy, some vegetarian, and some extra healthy options. It's small, but it's playful and friendly inside and has great fun music! Good for anyone and everyone

I m working nearby and chose this place for lunch. I got the delmar sandwich and it was so good! Definitely would recommend this sandwich here. I thought it was big and the price is very good for the size of the sandwich. The guys there seem super chill

Great acai bowls! Make sure to try the Hawaiian bowl inside a pineapple

I just had the worst chicken pesto sandwich.... it was sliced deli chicken meat, packaged cheese singles and mayo with sprinkles of pesto.... if you want a sandwich just go to Ralph s. It was a huge let down and waste of $10.

Came here to get an acai bowl but was disappointed! The acai was a little runny and the fruit did not seem fresh. I did like the granola though!

Great healthy, vegan, vegetarian, fruit bowl and just plain good food. There is something for everyone here. They should advertise the variety of the menu better because it is awesome. Fruit bowls, wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, salads, and breakfast. We had the veggie and simply delicious wrap. Both were excellent.

Seems like they used canned fruit or very frozen fruit to top the dissapointing acai. Seems cramped as well.

Excellent smoothie place/cafe! As a local I get a smoothie here almost every weekend, try the Bob Marley. Wraps and sandwiches are delicious as well.

Good variety of acai bowls and juice to choose from with fresh ingredients. They have kombucha on tap as well! In a congested strip mall.

We stopped by the Rum Jungle Cafe after a day at the beach on our recent trip to San Diego. We tried the acai bowls and they were AMAZING! My bowl had strawberries, bananas, blueberries and mangoes on top of acai sherbet and was topped with granola and a drizzle of honey. So delicious! My husband got his served up in half of a pineapple and was loaded with pineapple, mangoes, bananas and coconut on top of acai sherbet. These bowls were one of the best things we ate on our trip to San Diego!

Great place, really nice people. We got a La Jolla Club Sandwich and it was very good, the bread was excellent, everything was fresh and it definitely hit the spot. We'll definitely eat here again when we come back to the beach.

I got the Aloha which comes with half a pineapple as the bowl! Also they have a roasted coconut juice that is good! Can't go wrong here if your wanting breakfast lunch or a snack!

Acai bowl in pineapple is a cool concept. The bowl itself could be better. Exceptional service.

If you ever visit San Diego Pacific Beach, you havr to or must vist this cafe for a smoothly or energy bowl. My all time fav is Acai Bowl

Great place to go for a quick bite in the area. I had a tasty acia and beet smoothie with si wu tang for extra nourishment. Servers are laid back and hard working. Great vibes!

I came here on many recommendations from the internet for the acai bowls served in a pineapple! I got the aloha bowl, and it was soooooooo delicious. It was the perfect size for two people to share! I can't wait for my next one!

Great Acai bowls. We rent a house south of here and totally worth the mile walk. This is our go to lunch spot. During the week it's super quick. Sandwiches look delicious too though I've never tried them personally. That Hawaiian Acai bowl (minus bananas) was so good I've never tried another thing!

Perfect food, lovely restaurant and the fruit bowls are amazing

I posted a picture of their tuna fish sandwich think it was around 10 bucks and there is probably a tablespoon worth of tuna. Little bit cheese, super small slices of tomato 2 little onions and 2 thin sliced pepperchinis. Sad part the taste is amazing. Come on guys.... disappointed.

One of the best smoothie and sandwich joints in San Diego. They did my custom smoothie without blinking an eye, and then went on to make me one of the killerest club sandwiches on focaccia bread ever! I just wish they were closer to my home, but I'll hit them up whenever I'm the Drive for a session.

Good acai bowls, pretty cheap and they give you a lot of stuff in the bowl.
The lady working here swept the entire time we were there, and then she started mopping.
They had loud music, which isn't a bad thing, but it made it harder for my gramma to hear me.
Good place with good food, also in a nice area.

BAD QUALITY, UNFRIENDLY PLACE
we are 4 friends came to San Diego for spring break. we went to Ram Jungle for Acai bowls. Its taste wired like grapes!
We found out they add frozen grapes, granola, and apple juice to bland with their acai and saying or selling as Organic.
Later crossed street, we stopped by at a CAFE in the corner (I think name is CAFE 20/20)
We loved their Hawaiian ACAI bowl. It is genuine and pure ORGANIC Acai with fine cut fresh fruits. They have many other choices like full breakfast, lunch, healthy smoothies, Espresso, and BOBA teas. Their service is very friendly, We felt like home.

Really good Pitaya smoothie and really good Black Bean burger. Definitely coming back

These are the best acai bowls I have ever had in my life and I have had many an acai bowl. I was here for a week and came here like 3 times. Their acai bowls are served in a half pineapple! Disclaimer: acai bowls are the ultimate hangover cure. The decor in here is also super fun and beachy. People who work here are very friendly and chill. I am sure the savory foods are great and healthy as well.

The food is OK here, but I very disappointed by one thing: no rum drinks! I was expecting to be able to order a Mai Tai with my meal. Nope.

I came in May 19th, the guy working was great! He made this crazy acai bowl with care even though he was the only one working and it was busy... would've given 5 stars but I thought they were understaffed for the busy morning shift

Great Juice/Smoothie place - came here based on a friwnd's recommendation and it did not disappoint. The place was amazing, bumping reggae at 8:15am... Acai Bowls, Fresh Squeezed OJ, Parfait were all incredible

Best Acai and smoothies around PB. I've tried many different places and I keep coming here for the past few years

Ordered 2 breakfast wraps and after 25 minutes of waiting they finally starting making them because I asked. After about 40 minutes I was finally given the wrong thing. The cook also wore his mask around his chin. Would definitely not recommend.

The Rum Jungle Cafe is an excellent coffee and healthy food location in Pacific Beach (greater San Diego area). It is a neighborhood Hot-Spot and I highly recommend Rum Jungle Cafe for foodies, the excellent customer service and the creative plating of menu items. Parking is accessible and convenient very near the entrance.

By far the most delicious Acai bowl in PB. They have so many choices and you can even order one in a hallowed out pineapple! Talk about fun to eat! Their wraps are really good as well. Great healthy place near the beach to grab lunch.

This place is AMAZING!! I have been going here for 13 years! Family owned, positive vibes, and these people know their fruits and juices!
