Nice environment and friendly servers. Drinks are average size, but decently strong. Chips and salsa are ok too.

Menu is a bit on the small side, but food is consistently decent. This isn't my go-to Mexican place. But it's not bad.

They are always careful about my food allergies to give me choices for my food. The food is affordable and delicious!

Nice Tex-Mex spot with plenty of seating and a cool bar with a few TVs. I've not yet found a Mexi restaurant that matches those back in the west coast, but Rudy's will do for now. They've got a decent selection of Tex-Mex and sandwich/burgers. The drinks are priced ok as well.

My favorite/go-to neighborhood bar/ restaurant. They serve my favorite margarita. Haven't found one as good.

THE Teal Square neighborhood hangout. Tecates are cheap and the fajitas are perfect.

Was ok, the chicken was very dry and service lack luster.

My father just had the combination plate #4 and his enchiladas were frozen!, and his rice was undercooked NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I'm impressed at this is a bar that seems to serve just as many parents with young children as they do bar flies. Love bringing my kid here.

Casual Tex mex restaurant! Portions are great for the size. My boyfriend and I got each got a different sampler/combination platter and nachos, and probably could have just split one combo platter and nachos! Seemed like they could have had an additional server on when we were there, but it s a great restaurant in Teele and we ll be back!

One of the worst burgers I've had in years. The food is extremely overpriced and cafeteria quality, and the portions are stingy.

Nice place, only knock have several tv's on but you can't hear any because the music is on at the same time. Food was awesome staff was adequate for task performed.

My family and I love this place for good and plentiful Tex-Mex comfort food that is better than you'd expect for a local, neighborhood place. Plus, they have interesting specials, and a good selection of beer and margaritas.

20 years later...I'm still coming and loving the place! Awesome local spot for great food and drinks!

I order delivery (grubhub) from here weekly and it is consistantly the Rudy's that we know and love! I went here during college, my daughter was raised on their guac/refried beans, and now with covid - delivery.

Always terrific! Miss the staff (so friendly, like family) and the atmosphere, but still the same terrific tex-mex food. Real comfort food during a time that we could all use it......

Food seems very overpriced for the quality, margaritas taste way too sweet. Go down the street to the Burren in Davis muuuuuuuch better.

Great food, great prices, and sizable portions. Be warned, with Tufts nearby Friday nights are pretty busy and a little loud.

Solidly the worst margaritas I've ever had, both frozen and non (I gave it another chance) - food is decent if you go for more traditional Mexican dishes (like quesadillas or tacos)

Our favorite place for Mexican food. Great margaritas and kid friendly. Highly recommend to anyone.

if you only eat one thing - order the Guacamole Taco!

Called to order for pick up. Asked for chipotle mayo on the side and for our chicken sandwiches to be served on rolls, they said 10 minutes. Got there 15 min later, food not ready. 10 min later foods ready, get home sandwiches not on rolls, no chipotle mayo on the side. Sandwiches had a funky taste to them. Place sucks, $26 for two sandwich plates and they can't even take a proper order? Never going back to this place.

A good choice if you're in Cape and don't want to drive into Portland

I really want to like Rudy s because the food is decent and I like the decor. However, the waitstaff aren t really with it and mess up orders and bills more times than not. I usually leave feeling frustrated because of the slow service.

Memories...Always a favorite. So relax, comfortable and friendly. Traditional american mexican but you can spice it up and order traditional too. Goes great margherita!

Way overpriced for the quality. The nachos were on par with what I make myself in the microwave - some pace piquante, hormel chili in the can and shredded cheese - they cost over 13 dollars... The two tacos al carbon ($19) were served cold, cheese unmelted, on hard toasted flour tacos. The meat was grey and tasted old and hard. This ain t Tex-mex, but it could be Maine-Quebec(x)?. Most importantly none of it tasted any good, and it s not cheap. Stay away. Far away. In fact, head to the Texas border as fast as you can instead.

Decent enough Tex-Mex food, the great staff is what really makes this place.

Terrible place. Used to go here alot as I lived in this neighborhood for 27yrs. Went here as a kid and even drove here many times from woburn but the past few yrs, the food and the service has been terrible. The food is often cold and quite expensive for a place that tastes a step above taco bell because, the food has changed. i drove 15 minutes out of my way to get their food and when i called to place an order for pick up, the person on the other end said they were closed. Those calls were at 9:09 and 9:20 and the website said they were open till 10.00 which made no sense. That neighborhood has changed for the worst and with the exception of the neighborhood market and Broadway eatery, i dont even bother returning anymore. Rudys has dropped the ball big time and tenoch in Davis Square runs laps around these guys. Hate to leave a bad review but, this place is now garbage. A staple of my childhood and last of the few places left from it and it's disappointing.

Went back after not having been there for years still a good value and good food.

Awesome selection of margaritas and cocktails, and nice food, with some weird (not at all Mexican) options.
