Rudisill Electric Inc. Review

Unprofessional, Unfriendly, UnAmerican! Poor attitude!

I have used Rudisill on numerous occasions over 6 years now (at 2 property locations) and have never had any issues. He took care of servicing a few electrical items at our house today and once again I was thankful to have a quality electrician. In my experience Rick is extremely professional and provides services at very reasonable rates. I have continued to come back to him when needing work because I trust him to get it right and not take advantage of me as a customer.

Installed my kitchen island pendant lights and a new switch ASAP. Very professional, courteous and timely. Quality work. Will recommend to all our friends/clients.

I had an electrical problem with my home on the weekend. I called and left a message, thinking they wouldn't get back to me until Monday when I got voicemail. Barb from Rudisill took time out of her weekend to call and apologize for not being able to come out (they were already booked for other jobs) and was nice enough to refer me to another electrician who could perform emergency service without charging a lot extra because of the timing. So while I cannot speak to the electrical work Rudisill does, I am very happy to say they treat people well and try to do the right thing even when they have nothing to gain. I appreciate that and it makes me want to call them another time should the need arise.

We've had Rick come out to our home twice to run wires through the attic and also to install an electrical outlet behind our television. Everytime he's come out, he's been courteous, friendly, and extremely professional. He takes the time to talk with his customers about what they want done, but also the end product, allowing him to provide suggestions to increase efficiency. I would recommend him hands down to anyone.

I worked for this company a total of 3-4 months as an apprentice electrician. I was never late and I never called out. It's a one van operation and you will be driving the owner from job to job; but also driving to Sams Club and Pinch A Penny often to run his personal errands. You will also be doing landscaping work at his daughter's house which is not included in the job description. The owner has a very short temper and has yelled, cussed, and threatened violence against my family and I. I thought about leaving after all of this, but decided to stick it out; I told them I would give two weeks notice if I decided to leave.

They called me up on my off day, and insisted I meet them at a restaurant to "talk" because it was too important to discuss over the phone. I left what I was doing, met them at the restaurant, and they insisted on ordering and eating their meals before discussing anything. After they were done eating, Rick very vocally called me a liar and said I would end up living on the streets! He gave me my last check and said I was fired. They very conveniently fired me right before the date where they would have to pay unemployment. Overall a very unpleasant experience that I would not recommend to anybody seeking employment.

I need an electrical outlet for an electric car charger. Rudisill Electric will not install the outlet because of where I live, within a few miles of their office.

Great work at a fair price by good people. What else could you ask for?

Incredibly unprofessional exchange with this business. They were booked three weeks out, and refused to schedule an appt for me as I said "if anything changes I will let you know right away." (Especially since it's three weeks out). She said because I was 'shopping' for services that they will not schedule me. She said people have a history of not following through with their appts, so she refused to book it. It makes no sense to me that a business would turn down work right away with the fear they might lose it anyways? I've been on the phone all day with various professionals booking services such as fencing, plumbing, etc so I asked her the name of the business I was speaking to as I've already talked to several that day. And she REFUSED to tell me her business name. Unbelievable.

I can t recommend Rick highly enough. He s honest, knowledgeable, conscientious, punctual, and offers very competitive prices. You re not supposed to go with the lowest estimate, but from the questions he asked and the answers he gave to my questions, I felt he d do a great job, and was not disappointed. His assistant Joseph was very helpful, and installed a GFCI and a regular outlet gratis, while Rick was finishing installing a line to a pool heat pump. Joseph then wound up repairing some faulty wiring. Both provided detailed explanations about what they were doing. Rick and Barbara, who does the scheduling, seem like very decent people.
